During the campaign, Trump also gave fairly detailed lists of what he'd do in office, especially the first 100 days, and he's been moving on all of it, despite having to fight MSM, Obama, Chuck Schumer, the GOPe, and the federal judiciary. Anyone with a working brain should know that Trump's campaign promises were best efforts and that he might not deliver 100% because of the array of forces lined up against him, but if you had any faith in the guy you'd know he'd give it 100%, and he has.

Yes. Don't worry though, enough student defaults and all the easy money colleges have been getting drys up. Also, sports cable networks (ESPN) have overpaid for the rights to show games and now that bill is coming due too. That will affect paychecks, in a way, for college coaches too.

I have a creative job. I'd match my imagination with anyone out there. I never miss a deadline, I'm completely reliable and not a flake.

Because of this my prediction was that Trump would get at least 300 EVs even if he lost the popular vote.. by 2% to 3%.

Yup....college sports is a meat grinder. For every success story there are multitudes limping into middle age with arthritis, injured limbs and no college degree for some fool's gold of glory while they stock the shelves at Family Dollar. No ESPN bio story there.

If I never have to meet them, then I only care about what they do, not what they are, especially since I won't ever really know what they are, apart from what someone else told me. However, what they do is right there to make me happy or piss me off.

I have known and worked with some celebrities who are by all I could tell truly nice, patient people. No doubt many others are the products of their publicity (of which there is none that is bad) and the reality is less than stellar.

I have to work with a professionally diagnosed Narcissist. He's a photographer. His product is fairly consistent (he's not as good as he thinks he is), and he is demanding, unreliable, cannot meet a deadline if his life depended on it and requires lots of gushing over how wonderful his work is. I choose the photographers for the work I do, and he is always last on my list.
Perhaps if you're layers away from the "artist" and don't have to personally deal with daily tantrums, excuses, meltdowns and the inevitable threats of suicide, they're perfectly OK as part of the team.

The Daily Mail article is pretty misleading about this. Schultz announced in December that he was stepping down, and the anti-Trump stuff (and the pledge to hire 10,000 refugees) came in January.

I do photo workshops and tours here in Moab, UT, and I have a client who has spent several days employing me to improve his skills. It is a very sketchy landscape working with him, since to suggest failings is to elicit defensive reactions. I have learned to walk very carefully, and earned his trust by couching my "criticisms" as suggestions on how a "great" photo could be made oh, just a little bit better. I am now his great friend and mentor, and it's almost more than I can stand to cater to his enormous ego. BTW, he is a Harvard Law grad and CPA, and I wish I had taken up his offer to bet me $1000 that Trump would not win Michigan, a fact which I predicted to him.

Yep... and most boys don't hit their adolescent growth spurt until 15 or 16 so he probably has a fair amount of growing still to do.

Two-time defending NCAA champion Isaiah Martinez tweets about it: "I've always said it, college wrestling is a different game." Hall bites his tongue.
In spite of that early loss, Hall ends up winning a national title. (This was last night. It happened to be immediately after Martinez lost his own national final match.)
And then Hall finally replies to the tweet from January: "Wrestling is wrestling, buddy."

LOL. When did Trump announce his candidacy, by the way? I didn't take him seriously at first, but I sat up and took notice when he went to the Iowa State Fair and gave children rides in his private helicopter.
A number of candidates were there to see and be seen, and he promptly sucked all the air out of the room with that little stunt. I thought, "Wow, he's good at this."

Trump started this at CPAC in 2013, and I remember watching it on CSPAN. At first, the audience there did not know what to make of him and what he was talking about. But they eventually warmed up to his stream-of-consciousness populist talk.
I think even then, he was thinking about it. He didn't like Obama (Obama made fun of him) and could see how bad the economy was at the grass roots level, how stagnant it was.
I remember watching one of his rallies in 2015 with my then-wife, and her remark was that she sure hoped that he would repeal Obamacare, as he talked about then.
