Sefton: sefton at cutjibnewsletter.com | Today's #FakeNews Freakout: OMG, Trump is Calling Out the National Guard to Round-Up Illegals!!!Or not. Maybe just a provisional early draft memo -- not even from the White House -- included a provision that states could call upon the National Guards for specific duty on the border, you know, like Obama himself did a few years ago when the Unattended Child Illegal Immigrant thing was getting some (minor) attention from the media and he needed to pretend to be doing something about it. Fucking embarrassing. They have a new strategy, by the way. Sometimes, as with the NYT Flynn transcripts story, they write a scarifying headline, but then, in the body of the piece, they admit there's no there there. But they rely on the headline to convey the opposite impression -- and they rely on the Blue Checkmark Mafia to retweet the shit out of headline only, with the implication our explicit claim that the article says what it simply does not say. The other thing they do, obviously, as the AP did here, is straight-up lie. But that's not a new tactic for this crew. Always read the article or the original documents. Getting freaked out? Is their viral hysteria infecting you? Put aside the false claims and primal yelps they're making on social media and go to the original article -- or, when they deign to supply it, the original document they're blatantly misrepresenting. You can insulate yourself from hysteria in that way -- don't buy into their second-hand telephone-game-of-hysterics method of reporting. Go the source, and walk way with an eased temper.I said a briefer version of this on Twitter to these people: Dear Media, We all watched you in tears on election night, on our TVs. We saw your crying. There's no denying it. And there's no coming back from that. Anyone who cries like a baby while on television over the election results cannot claim to be able to put aside his deep emotional reaction and behave professionally and detachedly in the months to follow. So: We know what you are. We've always known what you were, but seeing the hysterical tears flow was proof to the rest of the world who suspected but did not know. And we'll never believe a word you say again. Go fuck yourselves dead, The People Who Used to Watch You On TV Bonus: There are no words left.

Honestly you get some junior staffer at the White House to pass on stories like this and you get a two for one:
1.Media that continues to get labeled as fake news due to the absurdity of it... 2. Further self deporting and don't even have to spend a penny to get the idea out there. I could totally see Bannon, Priebus, Trump and a few others sitting around late at night saying "what absurd idea can we leak that not only will discredit the media but in the long run actually help our goals...?" #winning Posted by: H Badger at February 17, 2017 04:15 PM (n/0Nw) Posted by: Max Power at February 17, 2017 04:15 PM (q177U) 17

This was great news this morning, even as a draft memo. Now I hate the leaks, but I love the idea of applying pressure to deport and cause self deportations of the 40 million invaders, who are all criminals by the way.

Here is a great example in that vein and how they are spinning the fake 'national guard is coming to take us away' story... ( and as a HUGE bonus, that is no accident, it has a OMGRUSSIANS element that fits the narrative )
Trump Uses Putin Style Baiting the Press with Fake Stories To Discredit the Media Provokatsiya. This is the Russian word for baiting with fake stories in order to discredit the outlet that ran the story. Or, as we call it here in the U.S., Rovian tactics. Is this what's happening right now with the AP's story about the Trump White House considering using the National Guard to round up undocumented immigrants? . . . So here's a beautiful story. Guy comes homes and notices that someone's been in his home. Doors are opened, scratches on his gun safe, etc. So, he calls local PD and an officer comes out to investigate. While she is looking at the scratches on the gun safe, the guy's pet squirrel runs between her legs. For some reason, defying all her training, the officer does not pull out her weapon and shoot the squirrel in order to protect herself. Instead, she asks the guy about his pet.
Later, when the officer has a suspect in custody, she notices scratches on the suspects hands. She asked him if they were from the squirrel, and he admits that they were. Squirrel defends his owner's property! A hero squirrel. What a heartwarming story we can all appreciate. http://www.kivitv.com/news/meridian- mans-pet-squirrel-goes-nuts-on-burglar Posted by: Anon Y. If I were Pruitt, I would start with a simple statement: "There are certain controversial issues where the law is unclear, and the authority of the EPA to regulate is not clear. On those issues, going forward, we will not issue rulings or regulations until and unless the will of congress is further clarified."
That, in a single swipe, would get rid of MOST of the bullshit overreach the EPA has been engaged in, and especially the bullshit Obama implemented. Pruitt is a former AG. He can make it stick. And how can he be attacked? All he will be saying is the EPA does not have the authority, granted by congress, to regulate this or that. Anyone argues, ask them to SHOW you the legal justification. As a former AG he will be able to smack them back pretty hard. Posted by: George Orwell's Ghost at February 17, 2017 04:36 PM (UgF8H) 137

The media is so invested in the Trump=Hitler narrative, that you can get them to believe **anything** that supports the narrative. Trump's people should keep feeding fake leaks to the media, because all it is doing is delegitimizing the media. Besides, fatigue is going to set in on the Left - when every day brings Another! Huge! Even with no real evidence they did, the Media promulgated the story line until now it is talked about without dispute. And was a LARGE part of brining down Gen. Flynn, the National Security Advisor... Because a 'report', from 'intelligence agencies' concluded that Russia tried to influence the election... the same intelligence agencies that illegally leaked information on Flynn, to get him out.... because he would have called them ON their biased conclusion... Especially if it's money no longer given away to illegals from Uncle Sugar. Posted by: J.J. Sefton at February 17, 2017 04:51 PM (mbhDw) ++++ I don't know much about what the manpower requirements are for guarding our borders. But, to the extent they need to be increased, I would rather seen it done through the Border Patrol. I would rather not see either Army or National Guard units deployed at the border on a regular basis. Obviously, if there is some kind of emergency where an immediate increase in manpower is needed, no problem. Send the troops in. There's a big difference between having troops stationed on base on military land... and troops on active duty on US soil to enforce law.
Not enforcing law -- expelling invaders. If the military is forbidden to protect the nation on its own soil because of some BS law, then we've already surrendered and should just make our official language Spanish and base our legal system on bribes and abuse. "Once again, if we're talking Fake News: Recall that earlier this year, The New York Times ran a long piece about Ben Rhodes, the failed novelist who became Obama's key foreign policy adviser (because it's all about building the Narrative, you see). The deep reveal was that the Obamans used leading journalists as dumb Useful Idiots, to be played like ventriloquist's dummies. "This was part of a broader pattern revealed in the article, which focused in depth about how Rhodes made up the narrative that the Iranian treaty came about because, in his infinite wisdom, Obama seized the initiative to foster connections with moderates in the Iranian regime, which was a total fabrication." There are rumors that Rhodes is a point on the bigger pieces of recent Fake News, including those involving leaks of classified documents from Rhodes' old cronies in the Obama administration. I agree, its almost like everything big gubmint does to help out the black man ends up making things worse. Inconceivable! Posted by: Christopher R Taylor ____________ Isn't this the result of a U.S. Supreme Court decision? How to do this was once explained to me by an Republican apportionship expert. When you draw your state electoral map, create as many safe minority districts as possible. Since minorities tend to be younger, and tend not to vote, you need to make sure the safe districts have to be 70% minority - which packs minority Democrats (as well as nearby white Democrats) into a handful of districts. Doing that will usually accomplish about 50% of what an explicit gerrymander will do. Anybody challenging your map, and proposing a map more even distribution of Democrats across districts, will have fewer safe minority districts. What is the problem we are trying to solve? Not the political problem, where our leaders want a porous border. I mean, what is the problem that the Border Patrol is inadequate to deal with, other than how much manpower they have? What can't they do on the border that we would want them to do?
Posted by: Anon Y. Mous at February 17, 2017 05:02 PM (R+30W) By moving the military bases, you would not need more manpower... It would be training.... ie instead of running a fake patrol at Ft. Hood Texas, against your own people... you use the Illegals to train against. It would also flat out solve the problem for that area, because they WOULD NOT BE GETTING THROUGH, and so would stop trying. And note, the Mexican Army IS on the other side of the border... we have had a number of Mexican Army incursions into the US, although the Media REALLY does not want to talk about them. Add in, you are not going to smuggle drugs across a Military reservation??? OH, and by moving the Military to the border, the next President can't really come in and say 'hey, military, let the illegals through'... like he can to the Border Patrol (last Presidents catch and release) because they will have been trespassing on a Military Base. >>> Twitterverse says Bannon floated the doc to trap the leaker
"This has two benefits. First, they might just catch the leaker. Second, it will make anyone else thinking about leaking think twice." So it turns out that the intercepted conversation between Flynn and the Russian ambassador was pursuant to a formal FISA warrant. In fact, the FISA court denied the first request. They didn't just spin up this stunt in an off the books manner. There's an auditable paper trail which exists. A special prosecutor should be assigned, and the first person(s) summoned for a conversation in private should be the person(s) who signed the submission to the FISA court. Pull in the small fry and put them under big pressure. (That's how Watergate originally busted wide open. Alexander Butterfield, a minor and obscure figure, cracked under the pressure and blurted out the existence of Nixon's secret taping system, previously unknown to the Congress.) "There's an auditable paper trail which exists."
This is amazing arrogance on their part. When you've gotten away with so much for so long ... Do I have this right. Someone taps Flynn's phone calls. Did they need probable cause on a FISA warrant -- or is talking to a Russian official good enough? Someone tells Acting AG Sally Yates, who goes to the White House and says Flynn's been compromised and is subject to blackmail. Yates doesn't give the WH or Flynn the transcript. Yates has the FBI interview Flynn. Flynn couldn't recall what exactly he said because he didn't think that whatever he said was a big deal when he said it. So he says he didn't talk about sanctions, even though maybe he did in passing. So he tells Trump and others that he didn't. Yates has Flynn caught in a lie because he did say something about sanctions. She sends the transcript to the WH, putting Trump in an awkward position. Yates knows she's on her way out anyway, so she uses the EO as the basis to force Trump to fire her, insulating her from exposure because now she'll be a Leftie martyr. Taking down Flynn had multiple objectives including to advance the meme that Trump is colluding with Putin. But now Yates has made Daddy very, very angry. If I were wartime consigliere Bannon, I'd have worked up a plan to expose the facts to show the following: Details on the Iran "treaty" and where the planeload of cash went. Cash was used to fund terrorists cells. Hidden codicils to the treaty let Iran develop missiles capable of hitting Israel. Ben Rhodes played MSM. Obama and Hillary armed Baby ISIS with Benghazi gun running scheme. Ben Rhodes has been point on fomenting the Trump Russian connection memes, playing MSM. "Obama bundlers were systematically paid off with inflated government contracts."
Here's just one example of what you find when you turn over a rock: You'll recall that during the Ebola scare, Obama appointed a DC lawyer to be his Ebola Czar. But he already had a Pandemic Czar at CDC, Doctor Nicole Lurie who was responsible for co-ordinating our national response to any and all pandemics. He needed the DC lawyer to divert attention from Lurie because she had become Radioactive for pushing through a $500 million no-bid CDC contract for the development of a small pox vaccine that wasn't needed. The major stockholder of the company that got this contract was Ron Perelman, a billionaire takeover artist and big Obama bundler. No vaccine was ever produced. Andy Stern -- head of the progressive union SEIU -- was on the board and given stock. Literally no "private" individual has visited Obama in the White House more than Andy Stern. What made Lurie radioactive during the Ebola crisis was that another company had unsuccessfully protested the no-bid contract saying that it could produce a vaccine that was not only good for small pox but other diseases as well -- including Ebola! This company actually created the product, but its supply was in short supply during the crisis. Couldn't let that come to light. Posted by: Ignoramus at February 17, 2017 06:13 PM (SIY7D) 522

Posted by: Ignoramus at February 17, 2017 06:13 PM (SIY7D) I donīt doubt that Obama set up some payback for playback action, but this claim about another company having a multi-virus vaccine is a stretch.
