(The Blue Checkmark Mafia of smug, minor-league "journalists" thought this BENGHAZI crossword game was funny -- don't ask me to explain, I never understood it myself. I doubt they understood it either. They're monkeys and just repeat whatever they hear the other monkeys hooting.)

Judicial Watch got 54 pages of document -- the bombshell here being a transcript of a phone call conducted September 12, 2012, just one day after the attack, in which Hillary Henchman Patrick Kennedy admitted, no caveats, there was no "cover of protests" and that it was a "direct breaching attack" involving "medium" weight weapons which would require some pre-planning.

The transcript was contained in an email from Julie K. Bulgrin, the State Department Bureau of Legislative Affairs director for Global and Functional Affairs:

Attack in Cairo was a demonstration. There were no weapons shown or used. A few cans of spray paint.

Note he's specifically distinguishing this from the Cairo protests, which were in fact protests.

The call notes also detail that Amb. Stevens got of the compound, but "collapsed" and was taken to the hospital. Kennedy also said that it was his personal opinion that the attack "was semi-complex."
When asked why no Americans troops were inserted, Kennedy responded that "the entire thing lasted approximately 4.5 hours. No US forces within time to get there." (This was false, troops were available and could have arrived in time to provide support during the second attack on the CIA annex, which according to Kennedy, was assaulted by 100 attackers.)

As we know from the name of the movie, the full attack lasted 13 hours, and the two heroes killed died in the final hours of it.

I always say that every aspect of O-care - from there being nothing like a crisis in uninsured, to the pathologies in health insurance being mainly exactly the kind crap in O-care, not their absence, to the pathetic presidential push/tour that became more farcical by the day, to the Roberts destruction of the SCOTUS' last bit of legitimacy, to the complicity of the corporate side and the indifference of those not immediately affected - was the thing that finally completely changed my assessment of the country.

But the Benghazi thing (again, almost every element) is the equivalent. The shock and alienation is richer if you're old enough to have been around for the last time a chief of mission was killed, and been involved in the field for many years.
