Kurt Schlicter: Tell Them I'm Comin' and Hell's Comin' With Me

#War.

Civil society is dead and we know who killed it. There is no sense pretending a dead man is a living one.

I wish I could tell you that, having dodged the naggy bullet that was Felonia Milhous von Pantsuit, we can now spend the next four years being left alone. But that's not in the cards. Liberals won't -- because they can't -- pause to reflect on how they should stop being such insufferable jerks and live with us normals in peace and mutual respect. Instead, they are doubling down on their gambit for unrestrained power over every aspect of our lives, fueled by a hatred for Donald Trump that is, in reality, a hatred for us.

Remember, they really do hate us. Just ask them.

Just watch what they do. They will always side against us -- even when a professional scammer stages a fake "hate crime" on an airplane. They will side with the hoaxer even though every single "Trump-inspired hate crime" -- and almost all others -- turns out to be a hoax. Every. Single. One.

When it comes down to it, they are more worried that some buffoon will sneer at a woman trapped in burka than that the psychotic creep who stuck in it will butcher a bunch of normal Americans while shouting "Allah akbar!" We have to say "No" -- normal lives matter.

Understand that they will not stop. They will not change. We must therefore defeat them, because otherwise there will be no peace.

Read the whole thing. The GOP is filled with Golden Age Nostalgists, as any conservative party will be.

But nostalgia for the age of basic civility and humanity in public behavior should not blind anyone to the fact that that age is as dead as Calvin Coolidge.

And people need to begin asking themselves: What is more likely to produce the Peace State of civic affairs the nostalgists pine for -- treating the enemy with the same level of discourtesy and contempt as he treats us (therefore inflicting a penalty on him for continuing his course of behavior), or allowing him all the pleasure of inflicting cruelty (and don't kid yourselves -- cruelty is pleasurable, that's why so many are so happy to indulge in it) without ever having the same cruelty inflicted back on him?

There is no point trying to make them merely empathize with their victims -- they don't believe their victims are truly human. There is no juice in the empathy tactic.

The only possible tactic is to make them hurt until they sue for peace.

An eye for an eye makes the world blind, they say.

But, on the other hand: If you've blinded your enemy, at least he will have a great deal of trouble hitting you with any further rocks. You'll be blind too, alas, but -- you don't have to worry too much about the blind man continuing to pelt you.

There's also the possibility that you can develop badass Zatoichi-esque blind man superpowers - always a silver lining.

13 This is quite true, but there is a bigger point looming behind this that many conservatives wont like: the same is actually true of the constitution.

If the constitution is only followed by one half of the political system and the other is basically doing whatever it wants - while paying lipservice - is it actually still a constitution?

Imagine you play chess against a Democrat: you start, move a pawn and end you turn. The democrat pulls out a dice, throws a 4 and moves 4 pieces. Do you think you re still playing chess? Is there actually a point to pretending to play chess and still abide by its rules?

The truth is that the left killed the constitution and we only help them if we keep on pretending that its still alive.

14 We were taught 'if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything'...

We were taught to turn the other cheek.

We were taught not to fight back, even if hit, in school, or WE would be punished too.

All of these things have turned that vast majority of Americans into victims.

The enemy has taken forbearance, for weakness... the enemy has taken silence, for consent, or surrender...

And the enemy has forced us into 'Tribes' not of our own making.... because they attacked us as if we were in an enemy tribe...

And the enemy has somehow gotten the idea that Group Punishment is LEGAL through the courts (affirmative action... and voting right crap).

But what the enemy does not understand, is that THEY made themselves my enemy.... and I will treat them as such.

I will not be silent... I will not bow to their PC crap... and if they get in my face? Stand the Fk by....

The guy who starred in them made them. He was an inveterate gambler. He'd make a movie, lose all his earnings, then borrow money from a woman who owned a brothel. Then he'd make another movie, pay her back, and gamble away all his winnings. Borrow from the madam...

18 I saw this article and generally agree with it.

I was going to try to share it with Jeffrey Wells at Twitter or his blog... but then I realized: one of the biggest problems the right has, is that we always *tell* our enemies what we're going to do before we do it. Then of course, they cut us off at the pass with something far more cruel, that they haven't told us about. (See how that works?)

I learned years ago from, of all people, David Viscott: Don't TELL your enemy what you're going to do. Just DO it.

So, fuck him. Let him learn of the civil war when he screams at a barista at Starbucks, who retaliates when said barista throws his hot coffee in his face. Let him get his brown Yamaha scooter (yes, he's such a metrosexual he enjoys riding a scooter around WeHo) pissed on until it rots away from rust. Let him get arrested, and sodomized by Bubba, after he attends the big anti-inauguration riot in DC next month. If he wants to double down on hate, he'll get hate. I'm done being a nice guy.

I really, really hope there's a Texit or Southexit before an actual shooting war takes place. I like to think it can happen now actually, we just need some states to tell the Feds (when they go far left again) to fuck themselves and turn down their blood money. But I admit I'm not as optimistic as I used to be.

I knew we were on the road to civil war the minute Obama was elected in 2008. You can't have half the population trying to ram Communism down the other half's throats without bloodshed.

And they haven't stopped. At all. They're doubling and tripling down.

They do not regard any opposition as legitimate. They do not accept the results of any election they lose.

They do not regard us as human. If the Left is not stopped and crushed, it will end the way it always does, with forced labor camps and mass graves.

Posted by: rickl at December 29, 2016 08:26 PM (sdi6R)

29 Nurse Ratched makes a good point. We might be soon seeing (we'd BETTER see) some confrontations the likes of which we've never seen. Some wrasslin' in the "civil rights" era was similar, but not exactly the same.

Just to pick the obvious topic.

If immigration law is not enforced, if the systematic violation of this law by states and municipalities (and business and individuals) is not confronted and stopped - now - then the tide of lawlesness will probably never be stemmed.

The lawless judiciary, the farcical SCOTUS, are separate catastrophes that must be dealt with as well. But the open rebellion against settled, unambiguous, non-controversial, common sense law has to be crushed. Now.

If it's not done, the last desperate attempt to do so (Trump's election, to a significant degree) will have failed, and the only way is (further) down.

33 Part of the reason I was so happy to encourage SMFH to go apeshit on Indiegogo, is that I just don't believe on coincidences anymore, more or less.

It wouldn't surprise me AT ALL if someone did some (perhaps illegal) snooping, found out she's on the right side of things, and thought they could get away with screwing her over. Especially given that IG is HQed in San Fran.

I say, if libs want to play these games, one of the things conservatives need to do is develop long memories. If a lib company screws you or a loved one over, DON'T forgive and forget the moment they cover their ass and try to "make things right." Tell 'em, now that we know who they are, we're done doing business with them. Forever. Eternally.

35 Brief note on the "eye for an eye" thing...

We look at it as horrid and barbaric over-reaction.

Khammurabi looked at it as a humane way to keep everyone from straight-up murdering each other.

IOW, someone takes your eye, you have to *hold yourself back* to only taking one of his.

Which brings me to an oft used quote, the upshot of which is that the laws are there to protect THEM from US, not the other way around.

I guess this is a good time to mention the Cur Theory Of Commie Cocksucker Motivations for about the 100th time.

The commie cocksuckers on the Left don't actually care about the grand socialist Utopia that they advocate. That's just the lie that they spew in order to pull the wool over the public's eyes to conceal their true motivation. Which is Destruction, Slavery and Death. They DON'T care what comes afterwards, as long as they personally get the chance to shoot a few kneeling Kulaks in the back of the neck.

This is why they have a hard-on for the mohammedans. They share the goal of the destruction of Western Civilization. The difference is, the mohammedans have a plan for what comes afterwards.

68 If Calexit is a real thing, and they want to actually do it officially, my hunch is there would be a mandated period, at the very least, where people who want to leave would be allowed to do so, and people who want to return could as well.

Even Jeffrey Wells thinks a Calexit, Texit or Southexit makes sense, one of his few sensible positions, although he always says it would end up like the breakup of the Czech Republic and Slovakia (he believes the CR ended up far more prosperous, Slovakia impoverished). He's even said he'd be happy to allow free travel between the two, that's how much he'd like to see it.

70 An eye for an eye is the biblical way to deal with a criminal. War, though, that's something different. When at war, you keep on taking pieces out of them until they can fight no more.

71 An eye for an eye makes the world blind, they say.

And they're full of crap. Eye for an eye is justice. It means the blinded criminal can blind no others, and has paid properly for their evil. And blind criminals are a damned fine warning to others to watch out for their neighbor's eye.

But that doesn't mean we use their tactics and stoop to their level. It means we bring the fight to them as strong as they do to us, that we fight instead of stepping back hoping to be friends.

We don't lie, abuse the constitution, and violate the basic concepts of constitutional conservatism we espouse: we don't use the weaponized government to punish political enemies through the IRS, for instance.

It was in Victor Davis Hansen's book on the Ancient Greek war between Sparta and Athens. The old philosophers wanted an honorable war where armed men met on the battle field according to the rules of war. What that turned into was mass murder of everyone, women, children, non combatants, innocent bystanders and their cousins three villages away from the battle.

I found it quite illuminating given our Rules of Engagement and fathers strapping explosive devices to their young daughters and sending them out to blow up among the enemy.

74 If immigration law is not enforced, if the systematic violation of this law by states and municipalities (and business and individuals) is not confronted and stopped - now - then the tide of lawlesness will probably never be stemmed.

Concede nothing to them. Live your life by your own standards of ethics and manners but do not allow them to dictate your behavior or let them silence you, as they have no standing to do so.

And starve them. Don't give them your allegiance except to the extent they accomodate your views. Don't give them an audience. Don't give them your children. Don't give them your eyeballs. Don't give them a dollar.

97 There is no point trying to make them merely empathize with their victims -- they don't believe their victims are truly human.

It's true, they have no empathy for us. But I'm not convinced it's because they don't think we're human. Let's compare PETA. I think PETA lacks empathy to humans because they *idealize* animals as a kind of *innocent* human, so that they prize their welfare above that of normal humans, and regard us with disgust. A kind of infection on the planet.

When liberals look at a Muslim, even if they are a hoaxer, they do a similar thing. They *project* an idealized innocence onto them, so that it is impossible to regard them as possessing evil in their character, and they look upon the rest of us with a jaundiced eye, even if technically we are the wronged party.

CA has already floated similar trial balloons in the past, namely a rather onerous exit tax proposal back in 2008 (between 36-54% tax on income when a taxpayer dies or leaves the state, a one-time 55% wealth tax on any holdings above $20 million etc.)

No, they have changes the law so that underage prostitutes are considered victims instead of criminal. Cops can still take the minors into protective custody.

Left unexplained is why a minor who violates prostitution laws can never be responsible, but if that same minor shoplifts a candy bar, they are responsible for their actions.

Probably better to not examine it too closely unless you want to deal with the "logic" that a minor can never consent.

I know it does. The coercise controlling personality wins hands down in court, and it is allowed because more money is to be made on the victims fighting back the rest of their lives for their children.

The controller personality will usually walk away and abandon the children if their asses are handed to them in court by a lawyer and judge.

The industry gets more money and they actually rationalize that it I'd best for the children since both parents will be in their lives (the coersive controller personality with the children at the expense of the health and we'll being for the kids).

140 I absolutely agree with Kurt Shlichter's article. The left will never stop. They don't want tolerance. That was apparent to me about twenty years ago when the gay rights movement was getting started. It was very obvious that it wasn't about gay people being able to live their lives unmolested. It was about shaming the general public into agreeing with them that homosexuality is a-okay.

I haven't shopped at Target since they decided they were okay with men in the women's bathroom and changing rooms. I won't be buying Kellog's products anymore. It's past time to push back on the progs' fascism.

163 Left unexplained is why a minor who violates prostitution laws can never be responsible, but if that same minor shoplifts a candy bar, they are responsible for their actions.

Because prostitution, and sex in general, is far different than stealing candy bar. Children can be expected to know not to steal at an early age. Sex is a lot more complicated business. Add in that child prostitutes are likely forced into the business, or runaways with addiction or mental illness.

Probably better to not examine it too closely unless you want to deal with the "logic" that a minor can never consent.

I'd much rather live in a world that says, "We're considering all 14 year olds too young to consent" than a world where 14 year olds might be able to consent, and the police and prosecutors get to go digging around in a teenager's sex life in order to find out. The former involves a lot less government intrusion into private lives than the latter.

174 103 An eye for an eye is the biblical way to deal with a criminal. War, though, that's something different. When at war, you keep on taking pieces out of them until they can fight no more.

Posted by: Anon Y. Mous at December 29, 2016 08:36 PM (R+30W)

Actually, an eye for an eye is NOT the Biblical way. The problem with Christians though is they focus too much on words like "love your enemies" and ignore resisting the Devil, fighting evil and selling your cloak and buying a sword.

It's time to go the other direction. Time for more militant Christianity.

Posted by: Country Boy - Deplorable and proud of it at December 29, 2016 08:45 PM (gWwiN)

++++

First off, I'm not a Christian, though I was raised that way.

Second, the quote comes directly from the bible. Old Testament. Exodus 21:

"If people are fighting and hit a pregnant woman and she gives birth prematurely but there is no serious injury, the offender must be fined whatever the woman's husband demands and the court allows. But if there is serious injury, you are to take life for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot, burn for burn, wound for wound, bruise for bruise.

https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Exodus+21-24

Like I said, an eye for an eye is the biblical way to deal with a criminal. Now, if you want to deal with the bible where it rejects the eye for an eye model in favor of turning the other cheek, look to Mathew. Though I never mentioned turning another cheek, so I'm not sure why you are arguing as if I did.

It's all too common these days. For the most part in my age women are not and have never been held accountable or face consequences. That is a recipe for a nightmare living under the same roof.

Can't talk about it in detail. But zero crimes. No mental illnesses on my part. Lost everything based on manufactured fears of what I could do because of the Violence Against Women Act.

Yep seen my kids less than 100 hours past 3.5 years. Because mom plays the worse I act the less likely they will believe and comprehend it gambit coupled with single mom simpathy. Oh and domestic violence cannot occur agaunt fathers or memebers of his family even with recorded evidence. The media must be torn apart and rebuilt in order to purge it of its totalitarian bias. The US Dept.of education needs to be dismantled. State colleges and universities that marginalize ANY group should be defunded.

And we should--every one of us--stand up to the totalitarian abuse from the left and NEVER be cowed by it.

210 163 Left unexplained is why a minor who violates prostitution laws can never be responsible, but if that same minor shoplifts a candy bar, they are responsible for their actions.

Everything is different. Battery is different from shoplifting is different from murder is different from rape is different from prostitution. Glad we could clear that up.

Or, wait. What about a 16 y.o. rapist? Is he a victim too?

If a 16 y.o., male or female, is out on the street peddling their ass, they are knowing violating the law. Same as if they are selling crack instead of sex. If they were forced into prostitution, or drug dealing, that is something for the criminal justice system to figure out. In the case of a minor, for the juvenile justice system.

I am pretty much libertarian when it comes to vice. I think the government deciding what's good for an adult is almost always a road to more harm than good. But, kids are different.

Treating teenage prostitutes as incapable of criminal intent is ridiculous. Are there some who have been forced into crime? No doubt, just as with other forms of crime. But, if a juvenile is seeking to escape responsibility for criminal activity by saying they were forced into it, that is something that should need to be proved, not just assumed to be true.

We like Jews in Texas. Those of us of the Evangelical persuasion were taught from early childhood that Jews are and always will be God's chosen people. I can't think of any safer place for a Jew to live than Texas.

290 I hadn't realized it - they are hating Trump because they are really hating US.

It seems so obvious now that the writer mentioned it. Heck, all those names they call us should have been a clue to me.

But yes, everything they throw at Trump - all the names, everything - they are really throwing at us.

292 The vast majority of Progs that I know (and most of the people I know are Progs) place "coolness" among all other things. Their likes and dislikes are dictated by what the cool kids like and dislike.

The best way to dispirit and thus neutralize such people is to make them feel that they are now uncool. This, I believe, is what they are most afraid of.

I thus believe that the proper way to respond to their anger is not with more anger, but with mocking and derision.

295 #278: Yeah. There's nobody forcing teen girls to, for example, hang around at the Mall of America and have sex with men in exchange for shopping sprees at the boutiques there. That wouldn't be profitable for a pimp; it's just some bored and damaged girls trying to have fun.

But it is prostitution, and should be punished as such. For both the girls and the men who take part in it.

This is what I'm talking about. See more and more people are getting it. Welcome to the awakening. The left has always hated America and that means the people living in it. The only way they like you is if you agree with them. They want democracy with only one party to vote for.

Jeff's site is interesting when he does he oddball personal riffs that portray him as thinskinned, demanding and utterly self absorbed. really classic stuff about shoes that he hates, his raging indignation when a restaurant doesn't let him bring in his own dessert and expecting a left-behind cowboy hat at a BnB to guarantee him a reservation at next year's overbooked Sundance. I actually asked him once if the site was an "art" project. It's not. His commentators offer little of value, although I admit to a relaxing soak in their tears post-election. i'll enjoy the site even more now knowing you are lurking.

312 Remember that the "Golden Age of Civility" that is longed for came about as an aftereffect of that bit of unpleasantness in the 19th century when Republicans and Democrats in this country spent 4 1/2 years killing each other, with the result of over 1,000,000 casualties overall and a significant number of cities burned to the ground. You stay civil as long as something like that is still within living memory.

Oh and yeah, the Republicans won that one.
