5 Bloomington, IN has become a town of PC liberal turds. They have renamed two holidays, one of which is a federal holiday. Columbus Day has become "Fall Day" and Good Friday has become "Spring Day". They did this because those other names which have always been part of American Heritage "offends" some people. 9 President-elect Donald Trump will face an immigration system that is maxed out when he takes office in January as a high number of Central Americans and Haitians continue to come to the U.S. through the Mexican border.

Resources to process the immigrants, detain them and to try their immigration cases in court are extremely strained.

This is one of the reasons Trump needs some help from congress. Why are we having to "try" these illegals in "immigration court"? They should be forced to provide evidence of legality on arrest and if no evidence available deport them. This entire immigration mess is caused by shit laws pushed out of a liberal congress and a President who is not worth a shit.

55 If it has a metal firebox that is the barrier,. But a brick in any wall isn't hard to replace if you can get to it. A cold chisel is used to chip out brick and all mortar around it. It is important to get it all out to allow the new brick to be freely inserted. Mortar is smeared onto a slightly damp brick and some into space but not too much as the new brick has to go in. Insert brick tapping it into flush with face. A margin trowel is used to push mortar around brick sides. After making sure all sides are packed wipe off most excess and after letting to set a hour use a sponge to indent mortar to match style of old.
Masonry isn't hard. Just need to know how.

56 One other thing to consider is to get a Franklin stove type insert with fans in it. I can tell you from personal experience that a simple open fireplace is about worthless for heating and actually, in my case, takes heat out of the house. A stove insert will allow you to keep the heat in the house and decrease your heating bill.

It will also render that cracked brick immaterial.

63 Chisel out mortar so you can get some depth and mass. 1/2 inch deep at least. Dampen area and get a 1/2 margin trowel to push mortar in. There are curved trowels to get that even joint but a straight might be easier.

65 My fireplace is a old fashioned brick, the most we use it is for emergency when oil heater is out or no power. Its better if used seriously all day as it takes time to get the brick all heated to transfer that to air. My sister has a insert and uses hers to mostly heat the house.

I never looked in one to see if they had firebrick.
IIRC it was just a heat exchanger with tubes. And a condensate system that was a PITA.

That is why it has been "acclaimed". It is an all black play and segregated and the DOJ and the liberals have no issue with it. However, if a white producer issued a casting call for whites only the entire Department of Justice would land on him like a Bag Of Brick Dicks falling from the 101st floor of the Empire State Building.

One was Navy vs Pitt in Annapolis, where Tony Dorsett and the University of Pittsburgh crushed Navy. Cooler to me was the Harrier jet inside the stadium at halftime. Very loud!!

I didn't want to see it, but husband had tickets given to him so we went with son and daughter in law. I was pleasantly surprised. The music was good and it was an interesting adaptation of the book. I don't know what the author of Hamilton, Ron Chernow, thought about it.

During his lecture, he says "no matter who you voted for, President Elect Trump is going to be your president and you need to accept that", blah blah.

These are "new citizens" Meaning they were not citizens last week And the week before, during the election.

How would they be legally voting two weeks ago?

In the early 70's to 80's , Washtenaw County Michigan and it's largest town, Ann Arbor, was overwhelmingly Republican. Including the city council of Ann Arbor, etc.

As the U of M campus has gone full on nuts liberal, with almost 100% liberal administrations, etc. the town has gone the same way because it was impossible to survive in city gov with any views that were not 100% liberal/progressive, and now Marxist. And that has spread out to the immediate adjoining townships, who have become gentrified with housing developments, schools, and increasing pressure to permit large mosques, Muslim schools, etc.
As soon as you get five miles out of that area, into the surrounding townships that are heavily rural, farm , etc. everything turns red again. But the red population is outnumbered by the density of the blue population in Ann Arbor now, so the county votes reliably blue as a whole. And requires the rural townships to pay for their progressive ideas and policies.

Major universities such as U/M, Indiana, etc are doing is importing and preferentially treating foreign students under the guise of diversity, responsibility, etc. These people get full ride scholarships, stipends etc. and then they stay. They don't go back home for the most part because back home doesn't have latte' stores on every corner, and 200 channels on TV , and most of all, don't have research programs that turn into lifetime teaching and research. So they stay, and then they become citizens and then they bring mom and dad and the entire chain migration deal. And they vote and want all the free goodies that were promised by the University, who has kept up this drumbeat of treating immigrants like they MUST be here and MUST be given rights, etc.

This is part of the reason you see all the snowflakes on campuses protesting right now. They have been brainwashed all the way through K-12 and when they get to campus, they are a useful army of robots for the University to wage war on conservatives and American ideals.

I think the message was intended for a larger audience. In that speech, he also sharply criticized the athletes who are kneeling during the anthem or disrespecting the flag.

I took it as a message to the new citizens but also a message to all those who are protesting that you have the right to say what you want, support who you want, but after the vote the winner is your President and if you can't accept that then you should go somewhere else, new citizens and all citizens.

Actually, I think Rubio had a better chance of winning than any other Republican candidate besides Trump. I don't think any of the others would have had a prayer.

"Historic First Hispanic" vs. "Historic First Woman". Of course, once the leftist media opened up on him (and we know they would have), he would have folded like a wet noodle.

Which means that Trump was the only Republican who had any possible chance of winning.
