I actually live across the street from one of his nieces. Very nice lady, but her husband's kind of a tool. Great landscaping, and they put up some fantastic holiday decorations.

Anyway, he and the husband are now fostering two black babies. Some interesting notes:

The last bunch of people I knew who exploited foster kids were.....a Mormon family who owned a tree farm.
The woman had a kid and her parents adjacent to her had one, if I remember correctly. Her kids got new bikes, etc. and she got a new van. Her father, in the mean time, worked the kid to death on the farm and when all the work was done, the kids were gotten rid of. This was way back in 1989 or 1990.
I deplore foster care for these very reasons. Children's homes should be re-opened.

Recruit a bunch of young hotshot lawyers chosen for their legal talent as opposed to their ideology, have some top notch lawyers to oversee (he probably has the right people to call on speed dial) and he could devote himself to policy and overall management.

Raving libs who bought our house put a whole bunch of stupid shit in the smallish front yard: several raised vegetable patches (each about the size of a grave site), ceramic animals, brightly colored lawn chairs, oddly incongruous trees (small pines next to palm trees, etc.), various political signs, etc., with foot-high grass in between, which now is of course a bitch to mow with having to navigate around all that crap. The place literally looks like a junkyard.
The backyard, which is spacious, doesn't have a thing there. Just grass, the way we left it.
So basically they're using the front yard to create a liberal diorama to signal their virtue.

It turned out she has faked it all, she had done it. And she didn't even need a wheelchair, that was faked, too, so was her cancer.
That was the exact moment I started to be very skeptical of any hate crime claims.
