Depends on your definition of "this campaign." The coverage for most of tomorrow will be campaign-esque, at least. Though I guess there's a limit on what will actually happen or be covered while voting's underway.

I'mma gonna assume that it'll be wall-to-wall polling blather until right before the actual vote-polls start closing. Is there a schedule handy for what polls close when? I know the networks try to be/look cautious while other states are still voting, but they will want to call the gimmes, at least.

They interviewed a lot of people from NBC and former employees of the Clinton Crime Syndicate that relayed what a little dictator bitch Chelsea was to work with and for. I do think one thing that's going in our favor is I believe a lot of the Republican holdouts are coming home, if nothing else as a just a vote against the rotten system.

If Trump can keep the Romney voters, he'll win as he's bringing in so many new voters and disaffected, white working class Democrats.

One thing the MSM has avoided talking about for obvious reasons is the fact that Trump always talks about shoring up Social Security and Medicare.

The Democrats usually dust off their scare ads to warn off people reliant on these programs from voting for Republicans.

They can't run that play this time. It'll be interesting to see how that plays out this election with the white working class vote that Republicans have been so weak on in the Midwest and New England in recent elections.

I just see a lot of anecdotes personally where it seems like the ones I know that REALLY hated him are now willing to pull the lever.

Obviously all of them won't, there was holdouts for every Republican running, even Reagan (remember John Anderson) but if Trump can get close to about average for retention, I think he brings a lot of new dynamics in.

My biggest fear with the Trump campaign has always been though this "fly by the seat of the pants" type organization and the HUGE lack of resources compared to Hillary.

The Dem Machine is the big obstacle.

What I do know is that there are no limits to what the DNC will pull to get a win for her. No fraud, no lie, no crime, no sleazy trick is too low for them to use. McCauliffe pardoning a large town's worth of criminals, for example. The half dozen examples in the press just this last week of people being busted doctoring or destroying ballots. NOTHING will be unattempted.

My daughter and I held each other,
and cried and sobbed until we had forgotten about our smoothie, and the freshly
made gravlax and wasa bread squares with creme fraiche.

My daughter looked up at me with
swollen eyes filled with tears.

polls that show that 28% of republican voters arecrossing over to vote
for Hillary. That's almost a third of them! Won't that make up the

I hated to do it - but the truth had

One difference is that in 2008, Clinton was the "moderate" Dem candidate. Dems really have no enemies to the left so all the PUMAs were willing to swallow their tears and vote for JEF.

This is a different scenario. The angry Bernie Bros see Clinton (correctly) as the Big Business, Wall Street candidate. They might not vote Trump (because raaaacccist!) but if they vote third party, those are 2008 and 2012 Obama votes that are not going to Hillary.

There's a live version on the Night Watch CD, recorded in 1973 at the Amsterdam Concertgebouw (however you spell it) with the John Wetton-Bill Bruford lineup that will absolutely melt your ears, your speakers and everything around you. I've never played it for anyone without their jaws dropping. Might be the heaviest damn thing ever recorded. It's just so insanely over-the-top, I just love it.

429 @Cheri, Curmudgeon, Soothie: I think the reason the MUMR-bot rewrites comments the way it does rather than instant-delete is that insta-delete/total ban actually takes a moment to propagate through the post. Think of the comments section as being like a reel of tape that has to be cut and re-spliced every time a section is removed. It's easier to initially overwrite *and then* delete than it is to script a faster delete, because the data ref for the post getting deleted is easier to change than to rebuild the whole reference table - at least as instantaneously.

I could be wrong, though.

The overwrite could be something like "HODOR", but rather than just one thing, somebody (possibly drunk) wrote up a whole table of insanity it uses at random when somebody assigned to MUMR-shaming posts. They type the comment, it is seamlessly replaced with random vulgar idiocy, and then deleted whenever the comments table gets rebuilt.

Just wow. Latest NM poll has Trump within 2 of Clinton. And the poll numbers are interesting - yes it is a biased ample - although this is NM we are talking about here - it is a 48/37/14 Dem/ Rep/Ind overall registration numbers in NM are 47/31/19 from the last info I could find - so Dems are slight;y over sampled according to registration - Repubs also over sampled - but I think in this election that might make sense - But not sure why you would assume almost a point higher than registration in your poll sample for dems - unless there is a little home cooking going on. It probably should be a 45/35/18 sample - anyway even with the oversampling of Dems this one is an true toss up. Oh-BAHM-uh won the state by 80K votes ( 10% spread) . a 2 % spread, even assuming the same turnout as last time, is right at 15K ( a lower total vote number means it is even less than that!), this means that if Trump really is pulling new voters into the fold that are simply not showing up in polls - at all - then he has a real shot at this state. Think about it this way - if only an extra 500 voters per county show up then Trump wins that state - !!

Come on NM Horde members - get every Trumpista out to the polls and get your Dem friends to strike a vote against corrupt Washington DC - vote Trump 2016!!

Did you read the piece -? It is based on the FINAL numbers from Florida EV/AV. The point it makes is that, at this time with Mitt in 2012, he was down by 3% (i.e. Dems had a 3% lead) and Oh-BAHM-uh won the state in a squeeker (1%) with near historic levels of dem turnout.. This election cycle Dems only have a .6% ( that is less than 1%) lead at this point and Dems are ALL about early voting and building a big lead to overcome the landslide of Repubs that usually swamp election day. It also shows that there is a 25% "new voter" number in that count - new voters here will weigh in Trump's favor.

The latest lame stream attempt to spin these numbers is some unsupported polls that allege that 28% of republicans are going to vote for Hillary. Let me put it to you this way - that is NOT happening. That is a flat out made up, pulled out of your #ss number. Trump has solidified the Republican side and Hillary continues to bleed her far left voters and "blue collar" white dems. This one is not going to be close. Trump wins FLA early, at least I think, based on these #s.

You can go to Drudge if you want more info - we were apparently both writing our stuff around the same time - his came out right before mine.

So - there you go.

Good news on that front. Arizona judge says dems can't drive around collecting mail-in ballots and drop off trunkloads to the polling place. Which believe it or not, they used to be allowed to do there, and are probably allowed to do in dozens of other states.

Broward country (Florida) Election officials were caught by a temporary worker (who signed an affidavit to this effect) sitting in a backroom filling out stacks of absentee ballots. Trump's attorney's are on that one and it's worth 150 K votes. I'm sure some dik judge will say, 'well we know only one is a real vote and 150 K are phonies, but we can't risk taking away the vote of that one guy' so we'll have to let them all through'.

Honestly, why the US continues to put up with absentee, early and no ID voting is beyond me. Its a system designed for cheating and the Democrats have large organized efforts specializing in cheating for them all.
