Since tonight is game 7 of the World Series, I imagine that this ONT may start off kinda slow. I have to say, as terrible as this year's political season has been, the baseball season has been a gem. Game 7 between two perennial loser franchises? How great is that?

I think he IS trying to influence the election to make hillary lose... To help her. 2 possible reasons for the about-face, agents were revolting and potential to go public, and something in new batch of emails is severe, maybe implicating white house too.

Guy decided he wanted to beat the shit out of my husband because husband was wearing a Braves cap (as was my elderly FIL and little son). Oh, and the Cubs had beat the Braves.
We were just trying to leave the stadium, and the number of "FUCK YOUs" from the Cubs fans were pretty incredible. One asshole reached out and shoved my husband as we were leaving.
I've been to Braves games in ATL and no one attacked or screamed threats at Cubs fans (and there were many, what with ATL being thick with yankees).

Technically, it's probably legal. Note that it doesn't say that the candidate is the Republican candidate. It says that he's the "Republican Choice". If confronted, they can always argue that they intended to highlight a supposedly large number of Republicans who are supporting the Democrat in this race (not that there's any actual evidence of such on the mailer itself).

They try to point out that the numbers are in response to the FBI reopening the investigation, but, the poll was conducted Wednesday through Sunday. That means that at least 2 and probably 3 days of polling was done before people started hearing that she was under investigation again.

The FBI doesn't indict people. It doesn't issue subpoenas or call for a Grand Jury. All of those things are done by the DOJ for federal crimes.
The DOJ could produce evidence of any crime they want but if the DOJ says they aren't going to indict it doesn't mean a thing.
If you read the WSJ article, you will see how much obstruction the DOJ has been throwing up in front of the FBI when they thought they had a solid amount of evidence to proceed against the CGI earlier this year.
I'm going to continue holding off final judgement on Comey until I see what exactly Obama's corrupt DOJ has been up to.

There are laws requiring political ads to id who is behind them. That's why you always have the candidate saying stuff like, "I'm Donald Trump and I approve this message."
If someone actually forged the tagline on your mailer with some other entity's name, that's illegal. On the other hand, if the tagline is true, it's legit. Of course, the organization can have a deceptive name, like "Republicans who believe in a better future", or something like that. As long as that it the true name of the organization, they are legal.

blood clots in his lungs and legs. He won't accept any treatment, and
wants to go home. So hopefully he'll make it until I can get there
tomorrow to say goodbye. Mom is doing pretty well, considering. She's
been coming to grips with this for a while, and she and my dad are stoic
as shit.

Actually, the science is not only clear, but is settled and has been for some time.
There are any number of examples that show that homosexuality is something that otherwise heterosexual people engage in under some circumstances where heterosexuality is not an option - the most obvious example is prison, but you can also find example in ancient Greece where birth control was not available....
If sexuality was completely, or even mostly, nature, one would expect that the the rates of homosexuality in prison vs in the general population would be similar - but we know they are not.
If sexuality was mostly, or completely, nurture it would mesh with what we actually see - that the more culturally accepted homosexuality is, and the more constrained heterosexuality is, the more homosexuality and "gender fluidity" you would see.

Yes; I think he's a narcissist, (There isn't anyone who is entertainment who isn't a bit of a narcissus or more) but he says charitable things about Christians and doesn't go off the rails when they pray for him and I also think he wears a cross not just to get in the face of SJW's and Islam. Milo is also young-compared to me, I mean. :^) he has plenty of time to come to terms with his mortality. Oscar Wile become a very reflective person in his later years. There's always hope for Milo. A childhood friend's father had shot down an Me-109 (or was at least first in on the souvenir party) while part of Patton's Third Army offensives (he was a tank commander, and did have some exploits of note that made it into a unit history).
He had cut out the swastika from the tail - the piece of metal had very irregular sharp edges. We used to play with it as kids (they kept it in the garage, just stuck between two studs on the unfinished interior, like so much WWII treasure in the 50s/60s). I remember the green/black camo pattern of the paint.

Depends. Aside from the nic-picking terminology problems in that formulation, the electors go to Congress and turn in their formal ballot in January, not Nov.
Technically they could write any ballot choice they want come Jan.
Indictments aren't a consideration under the US Constitution, State constitutions aside, IMHU.

I'm mystified that, even if you believe God made you desire the same sex partner, He assumes you will have wild weasel or rabbit sex because of that desire. It is simply untrue that we are incapable of controling our urges.
Take, for example, men who desire to have sex with children. Are they born that way? Even if they are, is that something they cannot control, and so not rape kids?
Yes, we probably need to know if the orientations are innate, but we probably also need to show that the "gay lifestyle (anal sex and such)" is harmful from a strictly health point of view, not to mention what it does to society, particularly when you include kids in the mix, either by raising them in that environment or by pulling them into it.
I'm not bashing gays, per se, but can we at least be honest about the outcomes?
We manage to be honest about heterosexual couples and the damage they do by divorce, adultery, infidelity, etc. Why not homosexual relationships?

I've read that looking at a screen, even a tiny one, will make your brain think it is time to be AWAKE!!!! no matter what you are doing, even reading. The ONT probably isn't all that conducive to good sleep patterns, anyway.
That said, insomnia sucks.
Are you the individual on anti-depressants? My advice is to ask for a whopper prescription for Trazodone and take it at bedtime. Makes one very sleepy, indeed.

Maybe I'll out in some time on the treadmill in hopes of tiring myself, though I doubt it. I slept a great deal Wednesday morning after skipping the Tuesday evening dose in hopes of some relief. It didn't happen until nearly dawn, so I skipped it again for Wednesday. Having slept on and off from about 6 am to 2 pm caught me up but it means there is a schedule problem. I'll just have to try to push my way through enough of tomorrow to shift things around a bit.

Hawkeye was acquitted of murdering Bruce Banner and is now wandering around basking in the adulation of common folk who feel it was a good idea.
Another series on its second issue, 'Champions', is essentially Avengers meets Teen Titans. A bunch of underage superhumans form their own team because the adults just don't understand. A quick glance included one character accusing another of a microagression. This is the 'teenage' daughter the Vision actually assembled a year ago, along with a wife and teenage son, both now dead. She interpreted the suggestion of telling ghost stories at a campout as a veiled insult because she can walk through walls and is neither alive nor dead by conventional human measure. Apparently, the AI for being a bitch is dully debugged but not the humor subroutine.

Well, I didn't have a dog in the fight, being a Red Sox fan when I care to follow baseball at all. But I wanted the Indians to win for two reasons:
1. Chief Wahoo.
2. The dog-eating crackhead in the Oval Office supported the Cubs.
So if you believe in auguries (as I kind of, sort of, somewhat do), then the election is over and Scankles has won. Of course, zombie posted yesterday that he's certain the fix is in and that while Trump may win, say, 40 states, the 10 crucial ones will simply keep printing ballots and stuffing boxes until Hillary wins.
My take is that now that King Shit Midas has actually been on the right side of something, his crowing about the Cubs ("my Cubs," I guarantee you he will say at some point today) will translate, through the all-American cult of FEEELZ, to:
Cubs win = Obama is Cubs fan = Obama supports Hillary = feeling good, will vote for Hillary.

Oh, I'm sure he's as ignorant of Cubs players as he is of anything outside of proper ball-handling procedures at Man's Country. But the Cubs win gives him a chance to strut and showboat like Chicken George, and with that ridiculous 50% approval rating of his, I can easily, in my jaundiced view, see that as translating into votes for Hillary.

I think there's both a nature and a nurture component to it, from what I've seen. For every case like that I ever knew, there's at least 3 more where they were children of divorce who had weak father figures and domineering mothers. That combination appears to make a child grow up to detest women, and just throwing an educated guess at the wall, the desire for a father figure mutates into homosexuality when puberty hits.
I'm not a professional head shrinker, that's just observation and guesswork.
