Corrupt Hillary Clinton Begs Democrat Federal Prosecutors to Sign Letter Slamming Comey and FBI for Re-Opening Case On Her

Even Eric Holder signed. Wow. Eric Holder? That's huge.

"A paragon of probity." -- Marc Rich's Mouldering Corpse

Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign ratcheted up its attack on the director of the FBI on Sunday, circulating a draft letter critical of James Comey to former federal prosecutors.

The letter was sent on the same day that Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta called Comey’s letter to Congress "long on innuendo, short on facts." Comey told Congress on Friday that emails discovered in a separate investigation into Anthony Weiner’s sexting may be "pertinent" to the closed investigation of Clinton’s private server.

"It is out of our respect for such settled tenets of the United States Department of Justice that we are moved to express our concern with the recent letter issued by FBI Director James Comey to eight Congressional Committees," the Clinton campaign's letter speaking for prosecutors said.

The letter was signed and provided to The Daily Beast by Elkan Abramowitz, a former chief of the criminal division of the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York. The Clinton campaign released the letter on Sunday night, signed by nearly 100 former federal prosecutors including Eric Holder, who was the attorney general under President Obama and an assistant attorney general under President Clinton.

I'm sure the media will make a big deal out of this undermining of the authority of core government functions, just like it wet its filthy diapers over Trump's "rigged election" remarks.

Any minute now. Any minute.

Jon Podhoretz remarked that this is essentially a job interview for working for Hillary's Justice Department -- sign the letter, or you don't get on the government teat.

No, I mean the proles are waking up. Nothing organized, nothing unanimous, but it is there. No one trusts a telescreen. So it is actually a very different scenario than Orwell described.

21 Someone has seen enough of these e-mails to create a summary that went up the food chain. Comey wouldn't have acted if they weren't damning.

Hillary's MO is to double down on lying and to attack the messenger. Her hope is that Comey can't "release all the information" by weekend.

Hillary is putting a lot of pressure on Comey. His strongest play is to arrest Huma, so he can characterize what's on the laptop without having to disclose it.

LOL.

The settled tenets of the DoJ (and FBI) are that criminal investigations are run based on nothing but the facts of the cases and never take into account anything like an election. This is like the very basis of the US government.

Sure ... this is no longer operable, but I find it funny that the dems are actually trying to argue that criminal investigations should be political. And to go the Barky step and make claims that, somehow, this is the tradition in the US.

Sure, these tenets at the root of our government are no longer operable in the Barky/Vichy GOP era ...

President Obama is at the White House Monday, but he will campaign for Hillary Clinton the rest of the week.

On Tuesday, he will be at an event in Columbus, Ohio. Wednesday, he'll travel to Raleigh, North Carolina for a rally and then continue on to Miami where he will remain overnight. On Thursday, he will stage events for Clinton in Miami and Jacksonville, Florida before returning to Washington.

Obama also plans to make an appearance for Clinton on Friday, but details are not yet available. Presumably, he'll be where the polls say he is needed.

255 Way back before the nomination the theory was that Obama would let Hillary get indicted so that he could stay the head of the Democrat party.

Having her lose, and all of Clinton Inc. rolled up in her corruption conviction would clear the field for him to be the head of the Democrats. And with a Trump Presidency, Obama would not have any competition to shape the Democrats for four years or more.

I heard Napolitano say that on Outnumbered at noon. He said Comey should have not sent the letter.

I'm rather confused. Comey testified to Congress that the investigation into Hillary Clinton's email server was closed, but that he would open it should new additional information be discovered. The NYPD come across emails in Anthony Weiner's laptop surrendered in his criminal investigation that are "pertinent" to the server investigation.

Comey notifies Congress that he is reopening the investigation, then finally gets warrants to search the emails on behalf of the server investigation.

What am I missing here? Was he supposed to simply not tell anyone about this prior to the election because the public shouldn't know he was reopening the investigation because of these emails?

Sorry, good judge, I do not agree with this. The FBI works for the American people, not for some campaign or some bright line that says "don't say anything about reopening an investigation on one of the prinicpals in the elections.

Oh, for fuck's sake, we'll we never recover from the cosmic level of stupid that was "Prometheus"?

Here's the trailer for new space-horror movie:

"Life"

See if you can spot the super-duper-idiotic-retarded thing that a scientist upon discovering a new life form would never ever ever do...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LeLsJfGmY_Y

Hint: the same thing more or less happened in "Prometheus".

See it?

Yep. That's right. The specialist in exobiology scientist sticks his finger up to the mildew's space-wang and wiggles it around till attacked.

The movie looks like a "day after tomorrow" version of "alien" on a space station, which is good,

and the efx look awesome. Like they spent several million getting it right-

and then they go and spoil it all with a buck and a half nonsensical script.

Yeeesh. Nice work, Hollywood.

"Survey: 35% of federal workers may consider leaving their jobs if Trump wins "

I'm
guessing 100% of them have never had a job outside govt. and believe
all the BS myths about how much more they could make in the private
sector with their extraordinary skills.

To that 35% I say: You don't understand. I've worked in the private sector... they expect results!

494 Reminds me of Justice Roberts, who, with a second chance to fix his stupid decision on Obamacare, didn't.

At least Comey is a quick study.

Trump should be playing the hypocrisy of the Democrats:

When Comey says she's innocent, during the election, he's totes awesome and certainly NOT breaking the Hatch act.

When Comey says there is now something to investigate, he's a treacherous bastard who should resign and be prosecuted under the Hatch Act.

495 Now would be a good time to invest in some start up typewriter company

A laser printer with a keyboard. Selectable fonts, and word-processing capabilities. Equip it with a line-in port so that images and documents could be imported, but with a secure hardware firewall that would no data of any sort to go out of the port.

496 After Hillary loses, I hope someone does a follow up to compare donations to the foundation before and after. I suspect there will be multiple digits fewer after the $ once the crime family is too far away from influence and power.

497 Looks like the Whitehouse is throwing Hillary under the bus. Put a fork in her.

498 @GregV61 -- they will wind down the foundation because there is literally no reason to contribute to it if a Clinton is not either in high office or threatening to be in high office. It was always about the shakedown.

499 Sure you all mocked me on these pages, you, brightbutthurt, all of you, but now you all love me and my insatiable appetites.

Just wait till my pictures of Hillary start showing up, sure they are gonna say I killed myself, shot in the back of my head a dozen times, hands tied, hung and then jumping off a bridge into traffic.

500 #38 Tex and Zombie and others. You are right. Nobody else has a list of hundreds of in and out of government employees ready to do any dirty work necessary. Guess who we will be hearing from in any contested vote recount?
