They publicly humiliated an innocent, and let's face it, somewhat socially awkward nobody, simply for publicly expressing an unapproved thought on the Trayvon Martin case. A case, by the way, that was adjudicated by a jury of peers who found that George Zimmerman was indeed justified in shooting Trayvon Martin.

So Ken Bone is correct . But the human insects at Gizmodo have decided that, facts be damned, anyone who disagrees with their preferred narratives deserves to have their porn habits and any other embarrassment they can dig up revealed to the entire world.

Journalists are not fact finders or truth seekers. They are professional censors who attempt to force their opinions on the public at large through lies, obfuscation and character assassination.

And so this man can cannot simply have a brief moment in the sun, where people good-naturedly hold him up as a lovable, earnest everyman for finally asking a relevant, common sense question to two candidates having the equivalent of a verbal food fight.

No, he must be attacked, smeared, demonized and debased. He said the "wrong" thing once. And he and all of us, must be taught that this is not permitted.

And if that means no one can ever feel good about anything again, then so be it. The endless march toward utopia demands it.
