13 Scankles lied her ass off the entire way though that interview.

But neither the NYP, nor the Fox story on this mentions the testimony of the Senior FBI agent who recently testified that the whole "investigation" was a whitewash from beginning to end and that they never had any intention of charging her. Or the fact that Comey had all of the evidence destroyed so a later more honest investigation could be done. He also accepted this lie 21 times during the interrogation. The "fix" really was in.

I think you mean IF she wins and packs the courts. Actually, the way the "law" was written, the CFPB is accountable to nothing and no one, cannot be defunded and cannot be dissolved. Ever.

Yeah, that's Constitutional. But the completely corrupted Judiciary will declare that that is the case.

Much as I loathe tyrants and strongmen, lawlessness will be the only way to fight lawlessness.

I disagree. The most dangerous place for the Navy is the Secretary of the Navy's office and the White House.

The Navy can handle Iranian naval forces in short order. We have the training, force structure, technology, CVNs and SSNs. What we lack is adult leadership.

Add in the USAF, and we can sort Iran in short order. For example, a country without electrical power generators is mission killed.

New Fox poll has Scankles up by 7 points in a 4 way race, 4 points in two way. First off it is a national poll so it really means nothing. Second off it is a poll of "registered voters" which is meh, and third off they give no breakdown on the sample ratio so they are embarrassed by it. I deem it to be worthless. Fox is rapidly becoming no better than any other alphabet. And their web site has become just as bad as the Daily Caller.

____________________

Yes, it was never a real investigation. Just some kabuki "investigation theater" for the rubes, so Obama could pretend not to be the massively corrupt, hyper-partisan hack we all know he is.

No legitimate investigation would have immunized co-conspirator Cheryl Mills, then allowed Mills to refuse to answer questions on the basis of attorney-client privilege, (even though Mills admitted that she wasn't acting as Clinton's lawyer at State), and then allowed Mills to sit in on Clinton's questioning, and then destroyed the evidence of Mills' crimes.

The whole thing was a big FU to citizens and taxpayers. They weren't even pretending to care about enforcing the law, because they knew they didn't have to.

Posted by: TrivialPursuer at October 14, 2016 07:10 AM (4rh2D)

52 TB is exploding again in MN but this time it is coming from the Choom's illegal use of "refugee" status to bring in third world muzzies from Somalia and not the illegals from third world shitholes south of the border. If we had an opposition party our "refugee" law would have been rewritten long ago. Its original intent was to make it easier to bring in people who were fleeing the communist block dictators. But since Ted The Swimmer it has been used to bring in 3rd world welfare drones and Democrat voters.

53 At the same time the corrupt Choom bureaucrats are illegally halting State voter ID laws a different Choom set of bureaucrats are punishing States for not meeting obscure requirements of the "real ID law". There is no problem with the IDs. No the problem is with minutia in how the issuing authority controls their bureaucracy. This is what inevitably happens every single time you let the federal beurocrats get involved in State matters. It sounds to me like this "real ID act" is an unconstitutional mess.

57 Polls, polls, and more polls. JJ said he was sick of polls. Here IBD takes a look at the polls from previous elections and says theirs are the best. What they don't tell you is that these polls are taken from the last ones ran before the election. The last week before the election is when the major polls start eliminating their heavy Democrat bias and they start tightening up. So they can claim how accurate they are.

NaCly Dog, that's exactly right.
Gotta ignore the gaslighting and go on with life.

Report from Rural Parts:
- Trump signs over Hillary by 4-to-1 or so.
- A couple of the Hillary signs were handpainted - I specially liked the "Clinton - Kane" one.
- A guy I was talking to suddenly burst out "what are we gonna do if she wins ?" in the middle of a non-political conversation .... I gave him the NaCly Dog / sock_rat_eez speech, explained the term "gaslighting" (he'd never seen the movie), and advised him to quit watching Fox News, or indeed any news .... And it lasted for a few days after I realized that a) I have a nice car and b) the leftist loons out there won't think twice before setting it on fire. If I drove an old beater, maybe. From looking at a few of the actual polling questions hunting for poll bias it looks like they asked if they planned to vote this election and then as a followup if they had voted in the last national election.

Probably not the most accurate thing in the world but then again, these polls are not the most accurate thing in the world.

My analysis - for whatever it's worth - is that the race is effectively a dead heat. The only thing preventing a breakout of either candidate are their negatives, perceived or otherwise.

That said, the Clinton baggage and the mood of the nation for an "outsider" will be the deciding factor for Trump. He can seal the deal with one more killer debate performance next week.

My gut tells me that he should win. Should. There are too many moving parts and other bullshit for me to take a definite stand one way or the other. But he has the tools and the momentum to pull it off. Hence, "should."

And you have to wonder how honest people are in answering that question. Do you plan on voting? No, I'm too lazy to bother. How many people will actually say that vs say "yeah sure, of course it's my duty as a citizen to vote!!".

That's what the question really is, are you a lazy piece of shit who can't bother making a 15 minute trip to the elementary school down the road once every 4 years? People typically won't answer yes.

He may not have an upper crust command of the English language and he may not be a wordsmith, but he really has more guts than anybody in the R party that I've ever witnessed. He was en fuego the entire rally, and the crowd, supposedly at 21K, was en fuego with him. I kept thinking throughout the whole thing, this guy is a force of nature. He never slowed down, he never seems to tire out, and he vacillated between pounding the hell out of Hillary and Obama, and bringing a positive message to Americans. Just my lowly opionion, mind you. And populism or no, he is really on his game now. I just wish he'd start throwing some serious cash into battleground state ads.

MBS data hack --

Posting a number of times over the weekend, the hacker released at least 58 million records stolen from MBS's systems.
At the time of writing, MBS has made no statement about the apparent security breach, but researchers claim that they were able to confirm that MBS was running an unsecured MongoDB database, open for anyone to access.

Victims were primarily other companies.

Two things:

2) Like bigoted, they also like to throw the word "racist" around.
Most people don't have a clue what racism is. Whites cannot be racist against other whites. Just because someone doesn't agree with someone, that doesn't make them a racist.
When they play that card, it's like Godwin. They lose.

What I call "language inflation" is one of the ways the meanings of words change. It's a devaluation. An assertion (in the traditional sense) is now a "fact" or a "personal truth." To cite just one example.

Another example relates to Global Warming. Leftists throw a fit when you call it a theory. "It's not a theory! It's a fact!!" When in fact - in actual, factual fact - it hasn't even been a theory for a long time.

356 Whites cannot be racist against other whites.--rickb223
At this point I'm not so sure. Starters, any presumption of character traits based on supposed racial origin is some or another kind of racism, in the old reckoning. That's why so many Kipling pieces are old-school racist, even if he's saying something good about the subject. Prime example is "Son of The Fifth River." So if you presume some trait about members of "your own race," there you go.

But wait there's more. Most of the outrageous and contrived yelps of Racism! coming out now, particularly from supposed academics, are white-on-white.

So, I don't know, let's argue about that I guess.

Breitbart hasn't been my cuppa tea - a little too tongue-bathy on Trump for my taste, but support for him isn't defacto bigotry, no matter how many alt-right/alt-white "non-cuck" folks support him.

Ah, I do love post-modernism. Newsflash, "assuming" traits based on race isn't racism nor is it bigotry. It's very often the result of real-world experience and knowledge of statistics. Seeking to do harm to an individual because of his appearance, sex, or religion outside of experience or statistical considerations is racist.

For example, I have learned through experience that black people are less punctual than white people. That's not "racist." It's a conclusion I've drawn from extensive association and conversation with blacks.

If I were a referee and called a game in such a way as to harm the "black" team because "I don't like "them"". That would be "racist."

However, the schools, the sensitivity trainers et al have pushed the logic-free post-modern concept that amassing life experience or noticing statistics is "racist." It is not.

Which is a problem. His outsize sense fo self plus "winging it" attitude has cost him. He could be putting it away, bimbo eruptions or whatever. He's let her define him nearly unopposed in ads and GOTV.

To his credit, he learned his lesson and prepped for the second debate and wiped the floor with her more or less.

Was in Essex county recently, in the well-heeled towns outside of the Newark Demilitarized Zone (Maplewood, Millburn, West Orange, etc), which is deep blue country. If you find my sestina and my self-respect in there, just leave them. It's for the best.

453 However, the schools, the sensitivity trainers et al have pushed the logic-free post-modern concept that amassing life experience or noticing statistics is "racist." It is not.

Posted by: dagny at October 14, 2016 09:25 AM (/f2t4)

No only life experience and stats, they ignore heredity. Leaving aside the explosive issue of ID, it is "racist" to say black athletes can run faster, although Africans in the Olympics do disproportionally well in track and field events and their legs are longer. That's not uncomplimentary to black people at all but it's somehow not nice for whites to notice (although it's OK for blacks to brag about it).

I once read a rather interesting article about blacks and dancing vs. whites and dancing, which made the point that black music, whether we are talking about tribal drums in Africa or Motown and hip hop, has always emphasized rhythm while European classical and even folk music elevates harmony and melody over rhythm. It made sense to me since I've been watching lame white baby boomers doing the swaying two step at concerts and dances my entire life, but the author was blasted for noticing difference.

Diversity is supposedly important but noticing differences is very bad.

Chapter 12 "U.S. SOVEREIGNTY" http://mcaf.ee/5gcu7j
talking about MOVING the UN. To someplace it is loved.

That is an easier row to hoe than quitting it. The short version: tell the Pan African Congress to come up with a plan to house the UN and as soon as we do we'll send our UN money to them. After five years, we'll continue to pay our share of what's completed.

That should be a really fascinating circus.
