Posted by: person(a non grata) at September 15, 2016 08:12 AM (mFkVC)

53 @#12

I agree the GOP is not stupid. The reason they've been so long pushing RINO's and losing is because they aren't sufficiently liberal. I know the conventional wisdom is the reason they lose is that the RINO's aren't sufficiently conservative to energize the base, but I've come to the sad realization that there is no conservative base, no silent majority pining for smaller government. Trump is a Democrat, pure and simple, and far from "destroying" the GOP, he is their savior. The only way the GOP can elect a president is if they run a Democrat and that's just what they're doing. And then they'll purge the party of anybody who still thinks there's some hope of rolling back the Leviathan and we'll all finally see that it's just a small handful of the electorate who still delusionally hold on to any hope of things ever getting any better. I'm woke* to the idea that Trump was not a stalking horse put in place to ensure Hillary's election, Hillary was a stalking horse put in place to ensure Trump's. And the sad thing is that it's the Republicans who are desperately trying to get a Democrat elected - like the sheep clamoring for a wolf to protect them from the fox.

85 I am so impressed with ST-Moonbat that I will not be getting CBS-All Access.

Episode 1: The visionary Federation president surrenders all colonies to the Klingons and is praised for ending his predecessors failed wars of choice. The Enterprise's transgendered polyamorous multi-racial president takes command and immediately takes the crew on a bold mission of designing holodeck training programs to identify triggers and microaggressions. The ship sits in drydock for most of the first season as Starfleet's budget is cutback to pay for the relocation of Cardassian refugees.

The show wins nine Emmies.

58 The new, painfully PC, Star Trek: Discovery tv series is sliding it's premiere out six more months to mid-2017.

Yet another "Star Trek: Bureaucrats in Space" series. No intention of watching, ever.

Mrs. Krebs watched the marsthon showing of "Star Trek" (the original series) on BBC America and I was struck by how mych more interesting were the story lines compared to anything that followed.

Does anybody here recall the companion series that ran in the 60s immediately after "Wagon Train", called "Bureaucrat Train"? Do you remember their heroic struggles to get camp set up in time each evening so they could fire up the hand presses, set type and get a passel of handbills with regulations printed up for distribution before they broke camp the next day? Inspiring, it was!

Did you ever see the last TOS movie, The Undiscovered Country? There's a bit where the term "inalienable human rights" is brought up and the Klingon ambassador's daughter sneers "human rights? Why, the very name is racist." I'm sure the writers will be able to come up with many reasons why white men (and only men) are irredeemably deplorable.

140 I've never considered colin powell a conservative, but his disloyalty to the GOP is really disgusting. Funny how too many blacks resort to tribalism when it really comes down to it: obama was further to the left than John Kerry, hillary and Edwards, but you didn't see him endorsing them: only obama, who is much further, presumably, from powell's core beliefs than the other 3, but he has one attribute that swayed powell to back him over McCain and Romney, now what could that attribute be? He gets all het up about Trump mentioning the birth certificate mess (which I think is a red-herring; obama blurred his birth circumstances at one time in his life because it was in his interest to seem to have come from Kenya, when it no longer was he reverted to the truth, now he gleefully snipes at anyone who fell for his lies that he was Kenyan, which he knew were easily disprovable once someone actually looked at the record, which no one did previously when he WANTED to seem exotic). His over-heated attacks on trump seem based on one thing: powell is a stone racist who sees racist in anyone who dares attack a black president. I've never liked the guy, and his comments about "poor white people" are the worst kind of racist hate. But he'll get a pass for it because now he's on the left's team.

Generally anticoagulant therapy after a post-traumatic vein thrombosis would be used for 3-6 months. Reasons for a longer course of anticoagulant therapy would include repeated incidents of trauma or an underlying blood clotting disorder.

Does she have another reason to be on long-term Coumadin? (A-fib, coronary artery disease?)

It's not our job for one thing, there are vast amounts of air-conditioned tents in Saudi Arabia for refugees, but, SA has NOT accepted one of them because they know how destabilizing these masses of crazy muslim men are. They are having enough trouble keeping their own citizens pacified without setting up the equivalent of another Palestine. Nope, all good old SA is doing is paying for the building of mosques everywhere these refugees go so they have some place to use in their efforts at conquest.

Any woman who votes for Hillary is saying, "Yes, please import 600,000 rapists immediately." Just ask all those SJW chicks in Europe how it's working out for them--the police won't even listen to them.

179 I've always liked Philip Glass's music.

After the premier of "Einstein on the Beach," he went back to his day job--driving a cab. One day, he picked up a society matron who looked at his license and said, "Young man, you have the same name as a very famous composer!"

Another time, he went to work at another odd job, and showed up to repair art critic Robert Hughes' refrigerator. Hughes said, "I can't have you fixing my fridge! You're Philip Glass, for God's sake!"

To which Glass replied, "Well, if you won't let me repair your fridge, then I and my kids won't get to eat..." Hughes immediately relented.

Hillary was supposed to return to the campaign today. Hmmm.....

Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton is scheduled to return to the campaign trail on Friday after taking a few days off to recuperate from pneumonia, MSNBC reported on Tuesday.

The network, citing what it said was a release from Clinton's campaign, said she was scheduled to appear at a "Black Women's Agenda" event in Washington, although it said if she were not feeling well that plan could change.

https://hillaryspeeches.com/scheduled-events/

And there's a CBC event on the next day then she could also blow off -- then nothing until the first debate on the 26th.

When we lived in Riyadh, another friend in the Dip Quarter came home to find a sheep outside his house, with a rope on its neck. When he went inside, the sheep followed him in, and promptly laid down in the kitchen. The guy's kids naturally adored it, and it would try to get into their beds at night, to sleep.

We all came to visit the sheep, which was a great big baby, and surmised that it had escaped its Muslim family, who were prepping it for Eid al Adha, and it looked for, and found a good Catholic family to adopt it. It is still living, last we heard, at a petting zoo on another Western compound. It's kind of hard to ship a sheep home as excess baggage.

Presidential hopeful Nicolas Sarkozy reckons that climate change is not caused by man and that the world has far bigger problems on its hands than global warming.

Nicolas Sarkozy, who is fighting to regain the presidency that he lost to François Hollande in 2012, has finally come out of the closet as a climate skeptic.

Speaking in front of business leaders Sarkozy, a candidate for Les Republicains party primary in November, told them that man alone was not to blame for climate change.

"Climate has been changing for four billion years," the former president said according to AFP. "Sahara has become a desert, it isn't because of industry. You need to be as arrogant as men are to believe we changed the climate."

267 Federal lawmakers seeking to pinpoint the number of illegal immigrants who successfully sneak across the southern border ordered up a report from the Department of Homeland Security, but the agency refuses to release it and instead cites a misleading statistic that overstates the number who are nabbed, sources told Fox News.

DHS denied it is holding back the report, but sources say it was completed in November and that it shows roughly half of adults who attempt to cross the border make it. But that number that is at odds with DHS official estimates that authorities catch 80 percent, a number critics say is padded to make the feds look more effective. If released by the Obama administration, the true numbers could have major implications in the current presidential race, in which illegal immigration and border security has become a key issue, say observers.

There's a reason that they've been pushing warping voter registration, ID and balloting in general. The same for online voting. It makes it easier to put the fix in.

318 Does she have another reason to be on long-term Coumadin? (A-fib, coronary artery disease?)

Here is a guess which is probably pretty accurate: "She'd be dead if she wasn't."

319 118 112 So is the GOP going to do anything to stop Obama from giving control of the internet away to people whose ideas are antithetical to freedom and liberty or are they going to roll over like they usually do?

One senator is fighting tooth and nail to stop it. That's all I'll say.

Posted by: J.J. Sefton

There's a difference between fighting and winning. I like winners.

He'd do more winning if he had anyone else helping, which is more their fault than his, but still, some of it is his.

It keeps the ice in her veins from solidifying

321 You folks do realize that the Cubs winning the World Series would be a sure sign of the Apocalypse don't you?

God checking off his "to do" list before bringing down the curtain on humanity.

322 Democratic Caucus- a limerick

A DNC official loudly whined
"How many extra ballots must we find?
A long weekend at Bernie's
Has become a tiresome journey
Can we drag her sorry caucus 'cross the line?"

323 But Not This Year !! This is it! This is the Year !!

I hope so. As you know I've always been a loyal devoted Cubs fan!

Hey, if that's what it takes to get SMODs attention, then Go Cubs, Go! At least we'd never have to look at Cankles again...

325 291 I just don't see how she can hole up until the debates. If she doesn't make an appearance soon, I think she'll be replaced.

Not without a body count--dead careers and actual dead people...Bill's lining up the lawyers, so they can try it, but, it won't be pretty for them and the DNC is already neck deep in shitty optics from the Bernie and other revalations.

This is for all the marbles and Hillary will not bow out gracefully under ANY circumstances. It will get incredibly, beautifully ugly. And what about Bernie's supporters if they don't pick him? They've got a big mess on their hands and its delightful.

Posted by: Dirks Strewn at September 15, 2016 10:29 AM (kfcYC)

326 So I get to keep the new lake house AND I get the nomination?

Fuckin' A, dude.

Which is why Bill and Obama and Mooch are out there for her. I don't think it will work...

"It will get incredibly, beautifully ugly. And what about Bernie's supporters if they don't pick him? They've got a big mess on their hands and its delightful. "

It sure is. I just hope it leads to disaster for them in the end instead of the totalitarians somehow managing (through hook and crook, especially crook) to pull out a win.

Enjoy your poems oh poets on right
For soon I'll show you all my might
Some day I will arise from bed
My boot I'll place upon your head
It will be such a pretty sight

331 A dead woman running this year
Would deny, distort, whisper, and smear
But she clearly forgot
How her spiritual rot
Means defeat isn't all she should fear.

332 Jackson, for her part, denied any prior knowledge or connection to the event, which advertised the participation of "actual practitioners" of the BDS movement, according to the organizer's invitation.

... Jackson-Lee represents the district that had Enron world headquarters. She was happy for their money but had no idea what they were doing either.

333 "The Stupid Party" is a misnomer. Its corrupt leadership isn't stupid. They WANT the IRS to neutralize the tea party, their last big impediment to Open Borders.

Hatch, Lee, McCain, Ryan, Romney, McConnell, and the list goes on, but it's not new. If anything the rest of us are the stupid ones. In particular the dim-wits in Utah, Arizona, and Kentucky.

334 "Why don't Muslims take care of Muslims?"

"partnerships with community-based organizations"

The real reason for all this government money going out for mental health is to funnel money to Obama cronies and other leftist organizations. There will be little to no actual mental health care happening.
