I think it's standard Democrat practice to insult conservative voters, and Democrats never pay a price for it. Don't you bitter clingers agree? I also can't see the Republican party establishment making an issue of this, because, as Tucker Carlson said on Fox last night, the Republican Party establishment agrees completely and is looking to engineer a huge Trump loss so that the Trumpenproletariat will self-deport and the can get back to losing elections in a more principledly-conservative fashion. If the Clintons get a free pass for influence-peddling on the multi-hundred-million-dollar scale and for covering up illegal use of private communications for government documents, the rule of law is a joke in the United States. Even if Trump were a worse president than Clinton–which is probably not the case–I would vote for him, on this ground alone. That’s not why Trump crushed the Republican primaries. He won because Americans are tired of an economic elite that ignores them. Americans know the game is rigged against them.I'm not sure you can win elections just be running against "the elite." The Democrats used to be flummoxed at how they couldn't win elections just by running against the rich and promising to raise their taxes. The answer was simple: Most Americans wanted to be rich, and thought they might become rich, and didn't want those higher taxes on them (and weren't sure it was fair in any case). If I had to guess, a fairly sizable amount of America considers itself part of the "elite," far more than could actually be the the elite. Matter of fact: I'm pretty sure 90% of the elite aren't elite. But they will answer "guilty" to that charge, if you accuse them. Below, Trump's new ad on the subject.

Hillary's recent game plan was to fund raise to buy ads to smear Trump, avoid true public appearances because she's so unlikeable, and rely on surrogates and MSM to do the hard campaigning for her.
This hasn't been working to plan, which is why she attacked Trump's supporters as deplorable and irredeemable. Idea is to make it unpalatable for the smart set of the GOP to associate themselves with the unwashed masses. Which is what the #neverTrumpers have been doing already.

People have suffered for 8 years. A lot of people. And at some point, people have to look around and notice things aren't going as well as they should.
Even small things count. I'm in small town Ontario...which is being decimated by liberal policies. Screw it. I don't care. Let it burn. BUT I have noticed the last couple of years how lawns around our nice neighbourhood are allowed to grow longer, houses seem in more disrepair, occasionally some houses look empty.
No amount of media manipulation can hide that. Is it enough to make people realize that liberal lies don't work is the big question.

"Elite" in this campaign is not just dog-whistle code for "wealthy," but instead is dog-whistle code for "wealthy douchebag."
Yes, every downtrodden American dreams of being rich one day, but no one really dreams of becoming an asshole one day.
Trump himself is a billionaire, and thus "the elite," but he doesn't act like the progressive/leftist elite who look down their noses at the hillbillies; instead, Trump presents himself as "one of the guys."
So there are two different kinds of elite Trump is "othering":
-- Snooty East Cost and Left Coast liberals
-- Checked-pant classist country-club Republicans.
And the key is that these two groups are on BOTH sides of the old "ideological divide," which is a great ploy on his part. He redrew the dividing line so that left-elites and right-elites are now ON THE SAME SIDE, and "the people" are against him.
Another word for this strategy is "populism," but Trump's genius is to update the specifics details of the populist message to this exact moment in history. Other self-styled populists, such as Marxists, remains stuck in 19th-century populism, which no longer resonates with most people.

But entering at this late date, Biden would be "generic Democrat," which handily beats Trump. (Just as "generic Republican" beats Clinton). I think the electorate's relief in another choice, any choice would be palpable, even if in the long run he'd be worse then Clinton.

Think you also have to factor in Hillary's delivery. Look at the video - she is sneering, she is condescending, she looks like the most arrogant, nasty woman when she says this. I had a visceral reaction to seeing it vs. reading it (though it reads bad, too).

Many people in my Facebook feed have so far steered clear of commenting on this year's national race except for the Betnie bros back in the day. Those who still do comment are almost exclusively anti Trump and statists.
Last week's WaPo editorial regarding the triviality of Shrillary's email "offenses" vs voting in the most evil man ever prompted some anguished pleadings. Surprisingly enough, though, there was pushback and things remained mostly civil. Those pushing back weren't coming out full-throatedly for Trump, but they were making strong cases for how venal and untrustworthy she was. Many were #NeverHillary.

You, again, like usual. You clipped out the part of my comment where I said that Breitbart is "sympathetic to some elements of the alt-right and are willing to report on what's going on with the alt-right." That is different from being an alt-right publication.
There are some who want to "no platform" the alt-right. Ben Shapiro and Patterico are two names who come immediately to mind. They want to prevent people on the alt-right from even being heard. Breitbart takes the opposite approach. They report the news. That does not mean that they are alt-right themselves. Editorially, it is quite clear they are not. Hell, Ben Shapiro used to work there. He didn't quit because he thought they became alt-right, he quit because he felt they were too pro Trump.

I disagree that this is substantively different than prior charges of racism.
I accept that your premise that the alt-right can be ideologically similar (or identical in areas) to Stormfront types. But for the charge to be meaningful and relevant, you need to demonstrate what parts of Trump's platform reflect these views. If Trump hated black people, he wouldn't have been going around to black churches and cities saying "the democrat party failed you, what do you have to lose by voting for me?"
As far as I can tell, the main issue this cycle that Trump takes a different stance than the average republican candidate is immigration. And it does not follow that wanting our immigration laws to be enforced and probably tightened makes one a racist.

You've to focus on some businesses that are in competitive industries - it's difficult to boycott, say, Comcast if they're the only reasonable internet bandwidth in your area, but you can easily boycott a beer brand, restaurant chain, tire brand, etc.
But in order to affect the behavior of an Anheuser-Busch you'd have to have a fairly substantial body of interest.

Trump isn't alt-right. He likes them and occasionally panders to them because they were among his earliest supporters, and when you worship Trump he's nice back. Plus, as a lifelong NY Dem, Trump is unfamiliar with actual Conservative thought (as we see on abortion, etc.) and probably thinks the alt-right is much closer to the mainstream of Conservative thought then it is.
Again, however, Trump himself is not alt-right.

Bander and I were discussing Hillary's voice yesterday and one of the many, many things that annoys me is that she's never taken diction and elocution lessons or if she has she never puts those lessons into practice.
I've mentioned before that I hate my voice. I do. Which is why I've studied diction and elocution and it helps that I do have a decent singing voice and was a member of competition choirs from grade school on and thus know how to shape tones.
I modulate my speaking voice pretty much by habit now. You can tell when I get really upset or excited about something because that semi-conscious modulation goes out the window and my voice skies into dog hearing territory and Full Shriek. This is a fixable problem. It's not even that difficult though it takes concentration until it becomes habit.
Margaret Thatcher studied and worked on her speaking voice most of her life. That Hillary refuses to do so says that she has contempt for the notion that she must make any efforts at all.
Don't get me started on the horrible "advice" being given to young women today that, like, it's, you know? Okay? To upspeak? At work? And if not, then vocal fry is fiiiiinneee *grumbly voice*

Bascially modern "culture" is a hustle. Its hypermarketing designed to scrape dollar bills of the bones of the public by manipulation of human nature. It is not as horrible a wealth transfer as what the progressives envision because at least its voluntary. The trick is to recognize it for what it is and not play the game.
They can't force you to play it. You don't have to buy any of their crap, or patronize any of their manufactured neuroses i.e. global warming. When you see it for what it is, it loses a lot of its charm. A. Lot.

Zazzle is like Cafe Press - I just upload a design onto a product they have listed and set a royalty (default is 5%), and they do the rest. They pay the manufacturer and the printer and I guess they get the remainder.
By the way, Zazzle always has some kind of sitewide coupon going on, be sure to use those.

I've looked at it frame by frame and it seems clearly to emerge from the bottom of her pant leg. If it had fallen from above it should appear in the frame or frames before that.
The best theory I've seen so far is that she is wearing an Ankle Foot Orthosis as Parkinson's patients sometimes do to help their gait, and a part of it came off when they started dragging her sorry ass to the van.

That was neurological. She couldn't pick her leg up at all to take a step. She rocked to the left and managed to rock her right foot forward about one foot. She was simply dragged after that.
