38 CNN; (opinion) Demeaning and scapegoating Latinos is the equivalent of demeaning black people, Jackson could have told Trump. Instead, Jackson allowed himself to become just the latest dupe in Trump's phony black outreach. Trump's efforts to court blacks didn't begin until he fell way behind in the polls and have included ugly, false statements about the state of black America that he felt comfortable spouting before adoring mostly white crowds but couldn't muster the courage to say in front of black people.

As expected....

Sen. Tim Kaine (D-Va.) compared Donald Trump to Richard Nixon on Sunday, saying the Republican presidential nominee's call to Russia to hack Hillary Clinton's emails is on par with the Watergate break-in.

"A president was impeached and had to resign over an attack on the DNC during the presidential election in 1972. This is serious business," Kaine, the Democratic vice presidential nominee, said on ABC's "This Week".

124 President Barack Obama says San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick is exercising his constitutional right not to stand for the national anthem.

Obama made his comment during a news conference Monday in Hangzhou, China, where he is attending a meeting of Group of 20 countries.

Kaepernick has said he is refusing to stand during the national anthem to bring attention to what he sees are failings in the United States treatment of racial minorities.

The president said he has no doubt that Kaepernick is sincere and cares about some real, legitimate issues.

Obama said he hasnt paid close attention to the matter, but he added that Kaepernick has generated more national conversation about issues that need to be talked about.

Kielbasi or Hungarian Kolbsz on fresh rye. Oh, and brown mustard, usually Kosciusko. Many times, the sauerkraut was browned in some lard or bacon grease beforehand.
