Good Morning Morons. Today is Sunday, August 14, 2016. On this day in 1935 Franklin D. Roosevelt signed the Social Security Act, creating a government pension system for the retired. At least that is what Wiki says and it is absolute horseshit for everything but the date. SS was NEVER intended, even by commie FDR, as a "government pension act". One could not live entirely on SS in 1935 and you sure as hell can not do it now. An second of all, it's primary purpose was to get another tax to help fund his socialist programs (like this one). The tax was immediate, the payouts would come later. The second primary purpose was to advance the socialist regime of FDR.

Fox article asks "Can you lose your 401K in a divorce?". Well I can answer that for men in SC. If you are a man you will lose at least half of it even though you can not touch it divorce lawyers can, and guess who will pay the penalty for early withdrawal. I know of at least three cases of this from former co-workers. And that is in addition to child support and likely alimony.

NYC muzzie and associate are gunned down coming out of their cult headquarters. Local muzzies say it is a hate crime and blame Trump. That's par for the course. If they catch the perp historically odds are that the shooter was some one who knew them and it was a personally vendetta having nothing to do with their cult, unless it was an internal power struggle.

As we have said here many times, even if you don't like Trump you have to admit he will not lay down and let the Democrat press walk all over him like almost all Republicans normally do. He is now telling the NYT that he is considering revoking their press credentials for his rallies because they are liars.

Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach in Colorado on Saturday was pushing states to adopt the Secure and Fair Elections (SAFE) Act, model legislation he wrote to prevent vote fraud by requiring voter identification and proof of citizenship.
Democrats, especially the corrupt Obama regime, will never allow that to happen. And if Scankles is elected and the Repukes allow her to appoint another far left commie ideologue to replace Scalia the courts will not allow it either. And that "if" is not much of an if either. http://tinyurl.com/jo2ls49 Posted by: Vic We Have No Party at August 14, 2016 06:03 AM (mpXpK) Posted by: Vic We Have No Party at August 14, 2016 06:03 AM (mpXpK) 14

More Milwaukee:
As the gas station burned, the founder of a local non-profit called "The Spread Love Initiative," Terrell Johnnies, went out to try to talk to people on the street and urge non-violence. "I do not want my city to turn into a war zone," Johnnies told NBC News. "I was thinking hopefully they can see me and recognize me and stop the violence." But after gunfire was heard, Johnnies said it was too dangerous to stay. "Once there were gun shots, that's when I decided I mostly definitely had to remove myself ... There was only one of me." I smell a rat with the imam murder. "Backlash" crimes seem to me to happen drive-by style. These two were gunned down at close range, and both shot in the head. Plus it was in their own neighborhood which is predominantly minorities and Muslims, so the odds of a white guy intentionally going there, on foot in broad daylight and doing this to me seem rather low. It was more than likely a local. After everything we've been through with Traytable, Saint Swisher and Loosie Goosey, I'll wait until all the facts are in. And the fact that Trump and Giuliani are being blamed means political grandstanding for now. We'll know for sure once the story disappears in a few days. Posted by: J.J. A Somali muslim woman just won the Dim primary for a seat in the MN legislature -- and since MN is a deep blue state where the Dims always win because the voters brains are all frozen solid, she is pretty much guaranteed to win.
The Somali woman is a crook. While married to her husband, she also married her Somali brother. She did it so he could immigrate quicker to the U.S., which he did. He's a loser and moocher too -- was living in public housing in Minneapolis until he was evicted. So the "historic first" Somali woman who will soon be a MN legislator is a bigamist, a liar, and an immigration fraudster -- and those are probably her better qualities. Ah Social Security. Back when the bill was being debated, various Congress Critters stood on the floor and solemnly swore that the Social Security number would never, ever, be used as a personal identification number. That was 1935, and I think those boys, while they didn't know it, were objecting to the idea of numbers being tattooed on Jooos! in the death camps.
Well I was in basic training at Ft. Polk in the summer of 1969. Everybody got an identification number. It started with RA if you were a volunteer; US if you were a draftee; and NG if you were in the Dan Quayle brigade. NG stood for National Guard not "Nice Guy". The Big Green Machine had that identification number stenciled on your duffle bag, and sewn on a tag inside your combat boots. In the summer of 1969, your Social Security number became the Army ID number. I recall cuz they changed the tags in my boots. Of course your Social Security Number is now also your Taxpayer Identification Number and shows up as your ID number danged near everywhere. I'll agree it's convenient. But all those promises made in '35 that it would never be used for identification? As Emily Litella said, "Never mind". The half life of your average Congressional solemn promise is about as long as a skeeter's tweeter. Posted by: Ram A Lam A Ding Dong at August 14, 2016 07:35 AM (Sda6L) 126

I just had to explain to my mother why I don't trust her doctor's office to do anything correctly without very explicit instructions. I brought up the incident a few weeks ago when she called them about a procedure that never got scheduled and they were supposed to call her back about it but never did. The half life of your average Congressional solemn promise is about as long as a skeeter's tweeter. Posted by: Ram A Lam A Ding Dong at August 14, 2016 07:35 AM (Sda6L)" In 1968 after Robert Kennedy and Martin Luther King were shot, something had to be done so New York City required that all rifles and shotguns in the city had to be registered. At the time they promised that the registration information would never be used for confiscation. Several decades later during the Dinkins administration a tourist was stabbed to death during a robbery by an urban youth who was turning his life around and the publicity from the murder was adversely affecting income and taxes as tourists decided to go somewhere else where they were less likely to be randomly killed. Something had to be done but arresting and prosecuting urban youths who were turning their lives around would have upset the constituencies who voted for Dinkins so something else had to be done. That something was to ban semiautomatic rifles and shotguns in New York City and the police used the gun registration lists to inform owners that they had a limited time to either show a receipt that they had sold their guns or to turn them in to the police for confiscation. When gun owners objected that they had been promised that the registration lists would never be used for confiscation, Dinkins replied with the absolutely priceless answer, "I never promised that." 'That's the price. If you don't buy it, another will.' 'That's fine. If you won't sell at my price, someone else will.' Back and forth like that, until you've both worn each other out with it. That's assuming the seller will talk to you at all. For one deal, I had to build a network of people who'd vouch for me. There's no trust in their commercial culture. I've discussed this with Jerry. Despite what some people might expect, he has a remarkably optimistic outlook. Yet he had to admit that a lot of things that would have defied belief when he was writing the CoDominium stories have become simple reality. My feeling is that once they moved the window far enough to sell it to those whose support is still needed, the move toward culling the non-productive elements of the populace will begin. Once they have a solid majority on the SCOTUS to rubber stamp anything they want, the next Dem administration won't need a lot of those voting blocks any more and can start eliminating the welfare rolls while generating a lot of fertilizer. Numerous other players on the global stage are poised to do the same to deal with their demographic bulges. Posted by: Epobirs at August 14, 2016 08:38 AM (IdCqF) 191

Posted by: @votermom at August 14, 2016 07:50 AM (7lVbc) I have an in-law that is from Scotland. She and my BIL are pretty open about having married initially because she had overstayed her work visa and was going to be deported. That's illegal as shit, but there was absolutely zero questioning or any vetting when she applied for her new residency stuff after marrying my BIL. Of course, she almost immediately got pregnant so that she would have an American child and would be harder to throw out if it didn't pan out with the BIL. They're still married, but miserable. They hate each other but they stay together for the sake of their child. She does absolutely nothing but complain about how godawful the US compared to Scotland, and when you dig down into why, it's because we expect her to work and pay her own bills, and she is under the impression that in Scotland she could get on the dole and not have to do anything. Which is likely true, but she is a moocher piece of shit. And the Feds just waved her right in through. Posted by: Mandy P. The 1972 election was the first one that happened when I was old enough to have any comprehension of what was going on, which is to say just barely. The impression I had in my eight year old mind was that Nixon was universally hated and just the worst thing ever to happen. Yet, when people had to reflect on McGovern's policies pitch in the privacy of the booth, they went with Nixon in a really big way. By the numbers, this had to include a fair number of folks who publicly expressed outright hatred for the man.
Yet looking at the polls, this shouldn't have been a surprise. It was never even close. Which meant a lot of the stuff that wrecked the Nixon administration wasn't needed other than satisfying paranoia. Posted by: Epobirs at August 14, 2016 08:51 AM (IdCqF) 216

There wasn't any big enthusiasm among Republicans on the Hill for it. The man who was hot for VRA renewal was George W. Bush. As part of his self-defined and self-described "redefinition" of the Republican Party away from conservatism. Dubya said that renewing VRA would induce blacks to go to the polls later on that year (2006) and vote Republican out of gratitude for his noblesse oblige on their behalf. The VRA was renewed per his request and Bush proudly signed it back into law with as much pomp as possible. Later that year, blacks went to the polls en masse and they voted their customary straight-ticket Democratic slate, producing the epochal loss of Republican control of both the House and the Senate in the same election cycle. Man, I tell you, that George W. Bush was a _supergenius_. Of the Wile E. Coyote school of supergeniuses. An entire eight-year administration designed by the ACME corporation. Nixon's biggest mistake was to endorse and cover up for people under him that did not wish him well (John Dean). Posted by: Bossy Conservative ------------ I never disliked Nixon. He certainly mishandled the Watergate imbroglio, but in the big scheme of things, that was a nothing burger. The guy was a brilliant, experienced, engaged statesman compared to the current crop of pygmies. And, he was handed the steaming pile of shit that Viet Nam was. The treatment of Nixon was the first real evidence that the media and Democrat insiders no longer had any interest in the well-being of The Republic, but only the furtherance of their party/philosophy. 'The Selling of the President' became one the handbooks of the Left. Oddly, the continuing revelations of the absolute political and moral corruption of the Clintons (and Democrats in general) seems not affect the sensibilities of the very people who expressed such grave concerns about Nixon's campaign(s) and Presidency. Just my point of view. As an aside, I have mentioned before that as a callow youth I was invited to, and attended, a tea (they still did that in those days) with Helen Gahagan Douglas. Nixon won a second term because he followed FDR's principles (buy votes with Government subsidies). The Democrats hated Nixon because Nixon was just-like-them. George W Bush won a second term because he sent out tax refund checks ($400) and created Medicare part D. Obama won a second term because he temporarily cut SS tax and did all the Medicaid and Obamacare subsidies up-front while pushing all the tax increases for his constituents to late 2016 and beyond. Bill Clinton won a second term with burn-black-churches-down, school-uniforms, and Biden's pork to the big cities that masqueraded as putting-a-police-officer-on-every-corner. BJ Clinton also bought off Greenspan-longest-term-ever and used Y2K bullshit to require businesses to waste money.

My Roomba found dog poop and almost precipitated World War III. And you know what they did? They offered to replace it. Yes, folks. They are replacing the Roomba that ran over dog poop and then died a poopy, watery death in the bathtub - by no fault of their own, of course. So, mad props to Hammacher Schlemmer. If you're buying anything expensive, and they sell it, I recommend buying it from them. And remember - don't let your Roomba run over dog poop. I wonder what happens when the idiots try and loot/pillage a city that don't play that shit and the police fight them?
Posted by: CSMBigBird at August 14, 2016 09:01 AM (xInes) The Federal government via the justice department and various other agencies destroy them. And a good glorious morning to you too! Posted by: Kindltot at August 14, 2016 09:35 AM (ry34m) 251

"If Hill is OK by you, I never again want to hear about how terrible Nixon was. His greatest sin was not Watergate, it was having a R after his name."
===== Nixon's greatest sin was the EPA. After that, it was wage and price controls. Posted by: San Franpsycho at August 14, 2016 09:36 AM (EZebt) 253
A police sketch of the 'hispanic' shooter of the Iman and associate has been released. He looks like he could mix in at any mosque without drawing undue attention.Posted by: Epobirs
I'll say. I don't see anything particularly 'Hispanic looking' in that sketch. Angry guy with scruffy beard. Posted by: free range 'sorta' conservative but not 'true' conservative at August 14, 2016 09:39 AM (ZnIt3) 254
Nixon was severely conservative. Not libertarian, like me.

Hispanic? Right? And I'm a wolverine.

There's a clue in the Fox article, mentions Bangladesh Muslim community, which according to Wiki includes Sunni, Shia, and Ahmadiyya.
So I'm betting 500 on 'sectarian violence' Alex. Posted by: free range 'sorta' conservative but not 'true' conservative at August 14, 2016 09:47 AM (ZnIt3) 258
Clinton won the second term because of two things:
1. The MFM was solidly behind him like they were for all Democrats but they lied out their ass giving him credit for the Gingrich congress's actions to revamp welfare. Despite him vetoing that twice they still were able to get that across because there really wasn't an alternative media yet and Fox had not really got off the ground. 2. The Republicans led off with a a boring corn State ho-hum non-conservative that could not inspire a beer party of the 4th of July Posted by: Vic We Have No Party at August 14, 2016 10:12 AM (mpXpK) 259
