The National Institutes of Health has spent more on exercise programs

truckers, and studies on gay hook up apps than it has to fight the Zika

And that doesn't count the unaccounted for and illegal transfer of money from the CDC budget to Obama's unfunded illegal operations.

I suppose it depends on where you live. Unless you're in a deep red state, I would be very careful of what I said to any government agency, given the nature of who is in power and in the permanent bureaucracy.

That said, on a personal level, if G-d forbid I or a loved one were ever brought to trial, I would pray for someone who is at least minimally competent/intelligent and conscientious to decide my fate.

57 >>She wants to tell the judge that she couldn't in good conscience declare anyone guilty considering the illegitimate nature of our government .

Judges absolutely love it when you make political statements in their courtroom. Seriously, judges usually aren't stupid and they do not like it when people try to get out of jury duty.

I had to go for a federal jury empanelment hearing last week. The judge was nice but very firm in stating that the only excuses that were getting someone excused were health or some extreme personal or work related issue and not to waste her time with anything else.

I report the week after next.

Whenever I'm from time to time depressed
And a trauma wells and swells
Within my breast
I find some pride deep inside of me
As I fondly walk down the lane of memory
I see Bonaparte
A mean one if ever I've seen one
And Nero fiddlin' thru that lovely blaze
Antionette, dainty queen, with her quaint guillotine
Ya ha ha ha
Those were the good old days

I see Indians draggin'
An empty covered wagon
When scalping the settlers was the latest craze
And that glorious morn, Jack the Ripper was born
Ya ha ha ha
Those were the good old days

I'd sit in my rockin' chair peacefully rockin' there
Counting my blessings by the score
The rack was in fashion, the plagues were my passion
Each day held a new joy in store

Was anybody happy?

I see cannibals munchin' a missionary luncheon
The years may have flown but the memory stays
Like the hopes that were dashed when the stock market crashed
Ya ha ha ha
Those were the good old days

I'd walk a million miles or more
For some of the gore
Of those good
Old
Days!

She truly believes the only "good" Black baby is an aborted black baby. Hopefully late term, so they can be dissected and sold off to the highest bidders. She is the destroyer of cities. EG: Detroit, Camden NJ, and large parts of Chicago, Baltimore, and many others . She is the destroyer of Nations. She destroyed Libya and Syria leading to millions of military age males from the region to invade Europe followed by a terrorist onslaught. While untold millions are killed and tortured by ISIS who she supported with weapons bought on the black market and shipped in the dead of night on Turkish freighters to Syria . The Racist Progressive Democrat elites never hire African Americans, they only sue others who they claim discriminate against the AA community. The Racist Progressive Democrat elites support and enable the theft of 10 million jobs from African Americans by Illegal Alien usurpers. Then the Racist Progressive Democrat elites rub salt into the wounds of Black Americans by stating that the "Undocumented workers" take jobs that "Americans don't want to do" A blatant dog whistle Racist attack on African Americans intimating that they are unemployable or lazy. They need to be called out forthwith for what they are. Racist Progressive Democrat elites. We insist on calling the recent terrorist attacks Radical Islamic terrorism. Why do we give these people a pass and not unify our message and ALWAYS call them Racist Progressives, and when the Media squeal in outrage, Simply elucidate the point of their inception as a movement with a doctrine of Eugenics and sterilization of Blacks, Jews, and Italians and others, and has never apologized for any of their historic crimes against .minorities. I've had enough of softball politics. Time for 100 mile an hour cut fastball pitches high and tight. We have to back these Racist Progressive Democrat elites off the plate. State facts. Yeah, I actually saw that with my own two lying eyes during TFG 1st election-

a van pulled up with some very very very old people and a young woman would lead them in-

even as the few I saw were asking "what is this?" and "Where am I now?", "what are we doing?"-

She would lead them to the Voting TV Dinner Table and hold their hands to punch the right area or if they were too out of it outright vote for them.

Apparently for TFG only cuz it looked like she only made sure one chad was punched then, then handed back the ballot and brought in the next one.

i was fairly shocked but the "observers" apparently thought it was just hunky-dory.

158 Julian Assange lives in the Ecuadorian embassy in London as an asylum seeker. The Brits say they'll arrest him if he steps outside.

There's now a story that the US is pressuring Ecuador to muzzle Assange to stop him from leaking anything on Hillary, including any of the "deleted" 33,000 e-mails. Meanwhile the New York Times writes that Assange can't be trusted because he has a personal vendetta against Hillary.

(1) If the deleted e-mails are only about yoga and recipes, why should Hillary be worried? (2) If they're instead about other things (Benghazi, Clinton Cash, classified documents that weren't turned over), then their very existence is proof that Hillary obstructed justice and committed other crimes.

We all suspect that it's #2, else why would Hillary have had her lawyers put these e-mails beyond FBI forensic recovery. Until this is resolved Hillary is at risk of being blackmailed. In a sane world Hillary would be pressured to tell Assange to put up or shut up.

Don't you know that any State who based the voting registration on ability to read and write wouldn't make it 5 min before the corrupt DOJ hit them. Especially in the South. They used to do that long long ago but it got threw out. I think that unconstitutional VRA actually specifically forbids that.

They get jury rolls from several sources now, voting registration, phone books, drivers license rolls and probably more.

There's also the nightmare thought that if he does win, then their cushy positions in the party and in the various subsidiary organizations that surround it - consulting, think-tanks, foundations, punditry, and so on - will be in danger. Trump would be very selective on who he would listen to and donors might decide to spend their money elsewhere and not prop up, for example, National Review or Weekly Standard.

235 we all think of the revolution as being fought over taxes, but it was really fought over the fact that colonists were paying through the nose and not getting treated like british citizens (which they should have been) - big thing was jury trials, trumped up BS by the crown, then they would take the defendant up to novia scotia and hold their trial in admiralty court (no jury) rather than in the colonies where there would have been a jury of their peers and the potential for jury nullification
I know its popular to think of the jury system and stupid broken nonsense that only dumb people get caught up in, but it is a foundation upon which our nation was built, one of the last things we have as a defense to tyranny, and a way to stick it to lawyers, so there is that too

241 I just looked it up on the SC Code page. SC juries are now drawn from the list of State issued driver's licenses and ID cards.

And the following is a list of jury qualifications by law in State Court. But judges may grant other exemptions at their discretion

In addition to any other provision of law, no person is qualified to serve as a juror in any court in this State if:

(1) He has been convicted in a state or federal court of record of a
crime punishable by imprisonment for more than one year and his civil
rights have not been restored by pardon or amnesty. (felony)

(2) He is unable to read, write, speak, or understand the English language.

(3) He is incapable by reason of mental or physical infirmities to
render efficient jury service. Legal blindness does not disqualify an
otherwise qualified juror.

(4) He has less than a sixth grade education or its equivalent.

They're sick. They're addicted to losing. "Let's just lose one more time, then, in 2020, we'll win. We'll win the right way, instead of putting the country's well being ahead of the purity of Conservatism"

I've been saying it for almost a year now: nevertrump is an aesthetic position. It has nothing to do with issues and it doesn't even have very much to do with ideology. They just don't like Donald Trump's face and hair. It is pitiful to see them scramble to invent intellectual justifications for what is clearly an aesthetic reflex. Like a toddler who won't eat his vegetables their excuses for their intransigence are just that. They cannot answer 'why'.

His economic speech yesterday rubbed their noses in it. He wants to cut taxes, cut regulation, profit from domestic energy, and spend our money here in the US. He wants to enforce the border and enforce the law. He wants to destroy our enemies and demand respect from our friends. Erickson and Kristol and whatever the fuck an Evan McMillan is are against these things and noisy of all against the people who can bring themselves to support them. Trump is not a conservative and he is no kind of republican. He's just an American. Thank God.

Let each congressional district (or statistical metropolitan area) decide if they want to host a reactor. That way, those areas that want the power for industry (Gary, Indiana) can have them and those that don't (Malibu, CA) can pay extra to have the power transmitted.

Less trouble that way.

Surprising he is doing as well as he is doing.

299 287 Trump is kind of a quandary. On the one hand, he fights, which is more than can be said about the previous GOP candidates this century. On the other hand, his pugnacious nature produces unforced errors. He's like a power hitter who just swings for the fences at every pitch, as opposed to the rest of the GOP who could strike out looking in T-Ball.

302 245, you are correct.
Trump makes a sensible speech yesterday, a speech full of good ideas. Nothing racist or anti-Muslim or crazy about it. Just sense. And THEN Susan Collins and a bunch of RINOS denounce him? This is the script I guess. Even if Trump doesn't say anything mean or off-the -wall, they are going to react as though he did. In other words, he can make an eloquent speech tomorrow, and they will still say that he is a "danger."

303 FOX had some Bush era defense Repub guy on this morning, one of the 50 that signed the Dem talking point style letter saying Trump was not fit to lead our defense or something.

His number one reason when asked why was ... Trump's response to the gold star parents.

So this sharia "scholar" used as an attack dog against Trump, whose paper used Said Ramadan (terror guy) and who has ties to Saudis, and works to bring in more Saudis/Pakistanis via a controversial program ... Trump not treating him with utmost respect is why Trump is not fit?

That guy came out and said there is no sharia law, or some complete lie ... probably trying to bait Trump to "attack him" again.

Replace the word "Trump" with "The average American citizen" and you have the reason why.

Okay let's talk about these ideas.

Trump wants the federal government to give tax breaks for child care. Good idea? Bad idea?

307 "Trump wants the federal government to give tax breaks for child care. Good idea? Bad idea?"

Why not? I'm all for tax breaks.
But look, if you are just going to bring up little shit like that, you missed the point of what I was saying. He didn't say anything beyond the pale yesterday. He made a good speech.
But you would never know that to see the reaction from the usual quarters.

Let's go with good. This supports parents with children and promotes those parents working if single and supports stay-at-home parents if married. This cuts into the female demographic that I am told is always against Republicans because they are anti-women.

yeah, it looks like it is America First against the globalist DC cabal.

Trump has to get out the vote with the 100M that gave up on voting because they already saw DC as a uniparty. ...

plus win over a lot of blue collar Democrats that see "free trade" as protectionism for the multi-nationals.

Global corps are protected from all those "better world" regulations and entitlement taxes Americans are paying. A "better world" here withers, while the crap world of pollution, slavery, uncivil no rights, building enemy militaries ... is all supported overseas where these protected corps collect high margin revenues and sell back into our highly regulated markets tariff free.

Trump will need a couple billion to expose the MSM and the uniparty ... congress has 12% approval, but will that 88% "vote their conscience", or is that conscience seared with the hot iron of PC and cultural Marxism?

310 Why not? I'm all for tax breaks.

Well, he also wants to end the tax break known as "carried interest deduction", for hedge fund managers. Why is one tax break good, but another tax break bad?

Let's go with good. This supports parents with children and

parents if married. This cuts into the female demographic that I am

Actually it doesn't support stay-at-home parents. Tax breaks for child care incentivizes both parents to work. Why should one parent stay home, and sacrifice potentially half (or more) of their combined household earning potential, when both parents could work, *and* have the government make the cost of working outside the home that much lower?

Promoting tax breaks for child care as being "pro-woman" is only the case if you view "pro-woman" as favoring a career-oriented woman as opposed to a stay-at-home mom.

I tend to view income taxes as appropriately taxing only profit. Just as a business has expenses, a salaryman also has to spend a certain amount to live. The personal exception are just recognizing this. Actual child care expense seems like it would be a deduction for those who have to pay it. At least it's a argument we can have.

Tax incentive for more kids, sure, we need to quit depending on the welfare classes to crank out the children. Plus this is a move toward the woman vote.

To me, the pension sharing or entitlement sharing due to marriage should be tied to families that raise kids, not (gay or straight) adults that get married to suck up a spouse's pension/SS for an extra 20 years after the spouse dies. That old idea was because Mom's raised five kids, and then Dad died at 68 and she deserved the income the "breadwinner" had earned. Not so with childless marriages of financial convenience. So incentivize more kids more directly.
