Good Morning Morons. Today is Sunday, August 07, 2016. On this day in 1782 George Washington ordered the creation of the Badge of Military Merit to honor soldiers wounded in battle. It was later renamed to the Purple Heart.

Something like 85% of the original Stimulus went almost exclusively to public sector unions, primarily teachers, to protect their pensions. And has Rush so brilliantly explains, it's a money laundering operation because a lot of that money from the unions goes back via union "dues" right into the coffers of the Democrat Party.

By the way, since we have no baseline budgeting, the one time stimulus happened every year since.

Neither Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump has a ghost of a chance of getting 50% of the vote this election. If the polls are as skewed as I suspect and Trump wins, the media will pound him from Day One with the 'No Mandate' charge.

If, Gawd forbid it's Hillary Clinton, they'll 'deem' -- through some twisted logic -- that she earned a mandate anyway. Because vagina. Or something.

Now when these or other Gopers backstab him, as they will inevitably do, he can point and say "See, I'm not the problem. They are. Sad."

Of course we're not going to shutup. Of course we're still going to be free to criticise him.

If it's Hillary Clinton we're going to lose that freedom. Blogs like this will be forced to authenticate user names. Drudge will be legislated off the internet. They've had a decades long woody to see him disappeared after he helped to break the Monica Lewinsky story.

Hell hath no fury days are coming, if that immoral, lying, cheating, stealing bitch gets the white house.

That's not a surprise. NBC is awful on the Olympics.

When they were on ABC years ago, the Olympics was much of the variety pack, here's swimming, now lifting, now triathlon, now badminton,....always something different.

Also, they didn't have endless stories about how this athlete's father had chronic ingrown toenail or whatever.

One or two stories...eh, fine whatevs.

But, NBC cuts out whole events just to cram in another boring story of some athlete's triumph over crabgrass.

Add that together with the endless commercials and the worst, absolute worst sportscasters in the business9NBC has always had the worst sportscasters. It's their brand!) yammering constantly and

No. Thank. You.

142 Tales from Facebook ...

Being a K9 handler in the Military I got to do a few details involving Distinguished Visitors. Mostly Generals, DOD Officials, and Secretaries of Defense. I was lucky enough to pull two awesome details. George W Bush, and Obama.

GW looked at me, said "Man, who'd you piss off" high fived me, and continued on. I was climbing down from a catwalk I stood on for 4 hours with nothing but Dust and a radio to keep me company. The radio died early on. It was pretty sweet.

Obama, as he was walking out to his plane in Turkey, said "What the hell kind of dog is that?!" In reference to Suli.

One of my Last details was for Hillary when she was Secretary of State. She was in Turkey for whatever reason. I helped with sweeps of her DV Quarters and staff vehicles. Her words to me? "Get that Fucking dog away from me." Then she turns to her Security Detail and berates them up and down about why that animal was in her quarters. For the next 20 minutes while I sit there waiting to be released she lays into her detail, slamming the door in their faces when she's done. The Detail lead walks over apologizes and releases me. I apologize to him for getting him in trouble. His words "Happens every day, Brother"

The post was shared over 200,000 times on Facebook, and it turns out that Staff Sgt. Eric Bonner was a 39th Security Forces Squadron military working dog handler and was on duty at the time of a Hillary Clinton visit to Foreign Minister Babacan.

... So what did Staff Sgt. Eric Bonner get for his vivid account?...

Facebook suspended my account until my name could be Verified. The timing of it was interesting. They wanted me to provide government ID. Which ultimately I did not end up providing. End Result? As you can see my profile is back up and running. However, I feel like this won't be the end of this type of "Contact."

I think a better choice for Bander(from his comments) would be the new release of Ken Russell's

"Crimes of Passion" on blu-ray.

Starring a very naughty Kathleen Turner, a very crazy Anthony Perkins, and other assorted weirdos,

plus a film score by Rick Wakeman of YES fame highlighted by recurrent use of a theme from Dvorak's From the New World symphony.

At no time does this approach being a great or even good movie, but you'll never forget it.

3 weeks to the day after my Dad nearly died (or more technically DID die and was brought back) of his cardiac arrest, Mom was diagnosed with cancer. She goes to have an MRI tomorrow, and we'll see.

It hasn't quite hit me yet. Obviously, I'm heartbroken and terrified. But, we talk and plan and act like nothing is different, like everything is normal. Is that true, or was the announcer full of shit?

166 Tales from Facebook ...

I had those a few years ago. I read that the females build solitary nests in the ground, unlike most wasps. The males will behave aggressively to chase away threats, but they cannot sting. The females can sting, but they usually stay in the nest. Kind of a strange way to deal with threats.

That was pretty much my experience. I never got stung, but they would aggressively buzz me when I was mowing the lawn.

I get the feeling Ken is filming a weekend party in his estate and a movie idea is born.

As for sexaciousness, Kathleen is hot but Amanda Donahoe slithers through Lair deliciously.

Kathleen Turner plays a prostitute with uh...unusual clientele and a lot of that could qualify as a ball-tripping' sequences.

I think this is Ken Russell doing a gritty, street-wise film so you can imagine how close he gets to that...

The whole thing plays out as a very dark comedy.

Like "Altered States", this is Ken Russell getting to play with Hollywood money.

And after it...he never made another Hollywood film.

Imagine that.

Much of the $800+ billion, in the first two weeks of Obozo's dumpster fire (more than the entire cost of the Iraq war up to that point) went to make public sector unions pensions whole, especially the teachers unions. And they locked in that spending with continuing resolutions until the Republicans got the Senate. Reed never even bothered to do a budget. Most of the American public is clueless and buys any lie these bastards put out.

God bless you, and prayers to you as well.

Thank you for your optimism.

My optimism has failed me so far. When it came back that she had to have a 2nd Mammogram, the thought was "Well, most people who have to have a 2nd mammo don't find anything. It's probably fine."

Then, it was, "Well most people who have to have an ultrasound find out it was nothing, so it's probably fine."

Then, it was "Well, a majority of people who have a biopsy find out the cells are benign, so it's probably fine."

So, it scares me to be optimistic now. As much as I want to be like, "The people said it was slow growing, so I'm sure the MRI will come out fine," I don't want to tempt fate again.
