I've decided that the only way to remain sane though November is to
treat any Trump "controversy" the same way the media treats any Hillary
controversy which can be summed up as "No biggie. Moving on."

The
media created this latest nontroversy (because they are all Democrats)
and this sort of partisan outrage should be a bi-weekly distraction.

I
still despise Trump. But at this point, when I compare the Trump
outrages and teapot tempests to Hillary's seriously disastrous and far
reaching acts, they aren't even in the same league.

I would suggest everyone keep that level of perspective.

Though I was pleasantly surprised the other day when I parked by the gym and saw a truck (huge F-250) with the word Hillary legible from the distance. She's doing well learning to hop around, still affectionate -- if not more so -- but it's sad that she doesn't have 4th leg. She really liked to be able to come and go from the house (she was a stray whom I broke in) but can't do that now with only 3 legs until I can rig a ramp for her for the back steps.

out there who hates hot babes. The men will only get that silly grin we
all get on our face, which will make that type of woman only madder.

Story on this in The Hill has male commenters essentially shut-shaming Melania along the lines of "Who is a better role model, wicked smart Hillary vs. stripper Melania? Her success is tainted because she's made moneyfrom her looks/body."

The Left are hypocrites. They're all about respecting all women, cheering on women who embrace their sexuality, from Kim Kardashian to Lena Dunham (pretty much most of Hollywood/music industry), and yet turn into misogynist scolds when it's a woman whose politics they dislike.

I'll bet Dunham's boyfriend has now moved the goalposts to "when it's legal to marry pets".

208 Herr Morgenholz at 29, 16 years ago, a beautiful Himalayan cat showed up at our door, my daughters started feeding him. He is still with us. They named him Basil. I started calling him Cousin Basil (obscure three stooges reference). The name stuck. Only cat I have ever seen that had no problems being accepted by our existing cats or accepting new cats. He gets along with everyone.

216 So, what is the ultimate irony here:

that aside from individuals on social media, not a single person on a national level is outraged over this, despite being so anti-misogyny?

That people who don't like Donald Trump seem to be more offended by it than his supporters?

That all these far left liberals who believe in pro-choice, because it's the woman's body to do what she wants with it, believe that when it comes to murdering a baby, but not when it comes to earning money?

Part of it probably also has to do with the style of the pictures. They are nudes, but in an 'artsy' sense. It is not like she is doing tranny porn.

Yes, I see the Barnicle is still the same Commie rag it's been for decades. I dropped my subscription and stopped read it back in the early '90s. This after seeing an article about some womyn's confab being held in China that, naturally, the Hilldabeast was attending. The leftist c*nt that wrote the article mentioned Tibet (forget the exact context) and how China had been ruling it for years, wherein she stated that China had "assumed control" of Tibet. No, China conquered Tibet, invaded Tibet and took it over by force of arms. That did it for me. I've never picked up a copy of the Chronicle since, and never will.

219 Personally, I find it disgusting for a number of reasons, none of which are directed at Melania.

It's something that wouldn't happen to any other candidate or spouse. The potential First Lady deserves more respect than this. Say what you will about Trump; say what you will about Melania. But, this is ultimately a potential First Lady, who deserves to be treated as such.

Secondly, those pictures were taken for a very specific purpose, and certainly not for the purpose of being posted on the front page of a national newspaper during an election. Unless Trump is behind it, I'd be taking legal action for sure.

What happened to Spouses and Kids are off limits?

This action is 1000 times worse than the so-called misogyny that Trump has been accused of. Now, listen, I think it is pathetic to call women fat, pigs, ugly...it's just a very loser thing to do. It's junior high, if that. But, using words versus actually publishing a nude photo on the cover of a magazine? One is much, much worse.

They were shot in the European art style, in 1995. 21 years ago.

This is even dumber than the press researching Romney's high school prank of cutting off someone hair.

Melania was a model , posing for semi nude photos that would be published in just about any art book, men's magazine, etc. at the time. They are not raunchy, pornographic, or depicting sexual positions.
Considering Europe has nude beaches and has nudity on television, the photos are not at all unusual.
The article with the post said they were previously "unpublished" and published photos.
Just imagine how much they paid for those unpublished photos some elderly fashion photog had stashed deep in the archives. Along with the hundreds of other models he photographed to sell photos of to whoever needed an art photo .

Just take a look at today's SI issues. I guess none of those models ever should marry a politician, their careers will be over...
