Dinesh D'Souza's Movie, "Hillary's America" Opens July 22nd.... [CBD]

In Hillary's America, New York Times #1 best-selling author and celebrated filmmaker Dinesh D'Souza reveals the sordid truth about Hillary and the secret history of the Democratic Party. This eye-opening film sheds light on the Democrats' transition from pro-slavery to pro-enslavement; how Hillary Clinton's political mentor was, literally, a cold-blooded gangster; and how the Clintons and other Democrats see foreign policy not in terms of national interest, but in terms of personal profit.

D'Souza is a bit bombastic, but he is undoubtedly an asset in the war against tyranny. And he pulls no punches here or, for that matter, in any of his writings. He is an unabashed lover of liberty and supporter of limited, and limiting government.

I wonder if he lurks?

Anyway, the trailer is underneath the fold.

9 Just looked at headline on Yahoo! news, and the shooter, Gavin Long, was only described as an "ex-Marine".

Zombie, in last thread, described him as a former Nation of Islam character, and had some outspoken videos on You Tube. Probably being scrubbed right now, down the memory hole.

Hard to tell which was more important today. We may never know the motive.

I wish more stuff like this got produced minus the over the top scary visuals and speeches. The actual words spoken by these people and their actions are absolutely frightening and appalling without the added dramatic flair.

The over- dramatization detracts from credibility, albeit unfairly.

Girl Ghost Busters box office update:

Officially somewhere between money loser and flop. Thru the Sunday estimates, is under performing the first weekend take from the 2011 Green Lantern movie, while having a similar production + PA budget.

Indicators of a flop include coming in 2nd for it's debut weekend, after that Pet cartoon. The Saturday intake was lower than Friday, which is a classic sign of a dog, and the overall mediocre reviews and low film score-type word of mouth indicate not much sleeper growth potential.

Also note the developing spin is of the "Paul Feig's or Melissa McCartney's best opening!" meaningless metric sort. When the Monday ad's are "America's #1 Supernatural Comedy!" overly specific, you'll know it sleeps with the fishes.

See Deadline and Variety for the interim numbers. More definitive stats on Monday.

49 Saw the movie at the early Dallas showing Friday night (Houston, Phoenix opened Fri too). Dinesh was in Houston Friday night and Dallas last night chatting with the audiences; good stuff! The movie was pretty predictable on the Hillary stuff, at least for those paying attention since Slick ran for prez. But it's very damning. D'Souza even includes interviews with K. Willey and Bill's rape accusers, painting Ol' Hill as his enabler (correctly so). The really interesting part is the first half where the movie takes apart the lies we've all been taught about the "democratic" party. It's a must see and you need to drag/cajole/force any November fence sitters you know to the theater. I understand there is a showing in Cleveland in the next day or 2. D'Souza: the testicular fortitude is strong in this one!

Studios love that kind of film. The longer its in theaters, the less of a cut they get from a movie. Over with in a hurry = new product gets out on the screens and they get the bigger cut again. The only time a really long run is useful to them only for popularity when a sequel comes out.

I saw his some of his TV show waaay back when.

It was actually pretty good to a point, where he was trying to get Corporate Exes to do "simple" tasks involving their products.

Like he went to (cant remember exactly who) a printer co and asked Exe's to change the ink in it. They refused to play along.

He went to several and no one would do anything, so of course he was acting superior etc.. Then he went to Ford and asked for one to do an oil change..

Lol. One of the VPs came out and did it right in front of the building! I thought that was great and really shut him up!

To his credit he kept it in the show even if it didn't support his "working class" POV he was trying to display lol.. (tho it might have been the producers since he wasn't popular and only did Rodger and Me then)

He just started a new church two weeks ago and has to move to a new parsonage. He was working another job at night before (uni the end of May) in addition to being a pastor part time at anther church. People would tell him their personal problems because they knew he was a pastor, but for some reason he never told them about his wife's illness because he didn't want gossip.

For those of you with a pastor, please pray for them. Sometimes pastor need to be ministered to and "taken care of" instead of being the ones taking care of others.

So my friend "G" is exhausted and worried and is staring in the need of prayer and his wife needs healing.

We are not 'divided' in any reasonable sense. Almost all Americans are non-violent, law-abiding, and non-racist people.

The tiny numbers of sick, racist killers who have been targeting police are not part of our country, we're not 'divided' from them - they are an enemy.

This disgraceful, disastrous president calls for unit after years of demeaning his office with sometimes sly, sometimes overt race-baiting. This president should find out how to speak intelligently and responsibly about these matters, or just keep quiet and let the American people sort this out for themselves."

It is off the scales now. They've truly thrown in their lot.
I remember reading a left-wing professor's column in a local Commie newspaper in the 80's, and his specialty was media bias. Of course, he posited that the media ran Right, but nonetheless, he inadvertently opened my eyes to the subtlety of bias in media on the left.

I can't say anything bad about them. Unfortunately, at some point prior to my crossing paths with them, they decided to hire on Mr. D'Souza as president. As it happens, he could not keep it in his trousers, and was caught "en flagrante delecto" with a woman who was not his wife.

Donor money dried up. All the new hire lines got cancelled. A shame. Not as shameful as his defense ("I didn't realize sleeping with other women was incompatible with the Christian definition of marriage" or somewhat), but still a shame. Especially given what a fine college it actually is.

I eventually got a job. It's fine. Probably pays more than they would have paid. But it's a lot less satisfying than TKC would have been.

No, I don't put it on him alone. I'm saying he did nothing to slow or reverse it. So instead of 8 years Clinton, and 8 years of O'bumbles, it is 24 years of consistent leftward push of government.

We've also had many republican majorities in that time that also did nothing. I don't blame Bush alone.

But I don't exonerate him, either.

I just started a book today about the Apache wars. Originally, the Spanish owned the area and ordinary Mexicans owned guns. Then the Mexicans rebelled, kicked the Spanish out, and feuding Mexican war lord/bandit kings took over. They didn't want what happened to the Spanish to happen to them so they forbid the peons from owning arms. That made the peons ripe for the picking by the Apaches.

355 Kreplach, I'm not optimistic, but the sort of thing you cite (the media "cautioning" Trump while forgetting 7 years of jaw-dropping unpresidential rhetoric/behavior often fairly described as race-baiting) is EXACTLY the sort of thing Trump can and should jump on. Slow pitch right over the plate.

Related to this, I found it somewhat interesting that the Cleveland PD detective who did the phone interview with FauxNews said this: "We need some leadership in this country to come forward and put an end to this."

Go back and the first substantial statement by the Dallas PD chief on the massacre (think it was that night, his appearance with the mayor?) had almost identical language - which piqued my interest greatly at the time. The need for "leadership in the country".

In context, there's almost no other way to read these statements, from police who feel under siege (and surely this feeling has been growing rapidly since Ferguson).

Dunno where this goes, if anywhere. But trying to remember the last time you could drug almost any policeman or police official across the country with truth serum and they'd all basically say: the federal govt. led by the president is inciting the populace to actual violence against us for no reason.

Hi, I'm Joe Nasty of the Nasty Law Firm. Here's a free legal tip from the Nasty Law Firm: dog owners are responsible for the actions of their dogs. I remember once when I was walking my dog through my neighborhood and he pissed on the leg of a judge I know who was also walking his dog through the neighborhood. The judge got mad and told me he'd never decide a case in my favor again, so I did the honorable lawyer thing and shot him dead right there in the street with my AR-15. We all know that anything I do with my AR-15 is nice and legal because the lefty trial lawyer association tells me so in all their anti-NRA propaganda they send me every month. Ha ha, was that judge's face red, or would have been had he lived. Anyway, thanks for listening and be sure to choose the Nasty Law Firm for all your legal needs. Now I have to go and drown myself in more brandy.

400 My take on the Turkish coup this weekend (like everyone was waiting for this):

I think whoever was behind it counted noses, officers, military units and thought they had more support.

My guess is a lot of people that were counted on by whoever was leading the coupl, were playing a double game. Pretending to be in the coup, but actually playing for Erdogan's team.

As the plans developed, I would guess that Erdogan's security people saw it as an opportunity to destroy the opposition in the military and get a stronger grip on the country. So they let it play out, then crushed it.

Erdogan is a Islamist thug. And a good friend of President Barry Soetoro.

15 years after 9/11 and the President of the United States is named Barack Hussein Obama.

At times when Chi was out of the room, I was playing around with the "oh, yeah, I sneak around like a cartoon character" thing as a way of joking-away Tucker's reaction. Little did I know, but Tucker had been watching way too many TV cartoons over years and went absolutely nuts when I did this.

This led, later, to Tucker actually getting a nip at my heel when we were outside. No blood drawn or damage done, but I'm sure he felt it was a moral victory.

The next time I visit Chi, I'm going to spend considerably more time wooing Tucker over to the dark side.

As opposed to Farrakhan and his Mother Ship Theory.

Frankly, I am sick to death of the lot of them...BLM, Nation of Islam, New Black Pantywaists, Black Power, etc. Not from a racist standpoint, but, from a point of weariness, to wit, every day, people get to America from India, China, and yes, even Africa, and they have less than nothing and they work their fingers to the bone and by the next generation--they have doctors, lawyers, and so on and so forth. If you are Black or Brown in this country and you don't get a college degree without lifting a finger or paying a bill-then you don't have anyone to blame but yourself. Don't want to go to college, well, then head on down to the Small Business Administration and let them know that your are kinda sorta lukewarm about starting a minority owned business and wham--low interest loans, set aside quotas for mibs, and hot damn, you gotz a business. But, if you do get that degree and get out or start a successful bidness, then, you are just another sellout Uncle Tom or Aunt Jemima.

All this utter bullshit about how tough young Black men have it in the ghetto because of cops is just another weak false narrative designed to get Poor Black America to not notice how the Dims have put them in these broken neighborhoods and kept them there. So, Black America, continue to let professional rabble rousers cause you to act like fools-killing Black cops, letting gangs kill your children with both bullets and drugs, and rioting to destroy your own neighborhoods. Those agitators sleep just fine at night in their suburban homes or upscale loft apartments.
