Hillary Clinton Did What to Decide What Official Government Records to Turn Over?
One thing Comey said in his murder of the American republic was that Hillary's lawyers didn't even read her emails to decide which to turn over, and which to delete.
Remember, it is The Fucking Law that any work-related email is an official government record which must be retained and turned over to the government for its permanent archives (and so people can FOIA it). How did Hillary "comply" with this law? Well, her lawyers did a keyword search of different keywords they imagined (they claim) would indicate a work-related emails. Any email which did not pop up during these searches was simply deleted. Obliterated from existence. Hypothetical: She searches for "Libya" as a term likely to disclose work-related emails. She does not search for "Lib," a common-enough truncation/abbreviation of Libya. Emails that say "Lib" instead of "Libya" are then subject to mass-deletion. Repeat this process 1000 times and you zap 33,000 emails in a hurry. And no, those emails are not all about yoga routines and grandchildren. Incidentally. here are a coujple of keywords she would claim, from Jump Street, are "private" and "not work related" and therefore never search for at all: CLINTON GLOBAL INITIATIVE FOUNDATION DONATION $$$ WALL STREET SPEECH TRANSCRIPT OPPORTUNITIES FOR GRAFTThis is not a procedure created to retain emails -- this is a protocol designed intentionally to delete as many emails as possible. It's common practice in civil litigation e-discovery of voluminous e-mails to use search terms -- that have been agreed upon by both sides. What they did here was outrageous and was obstruction. You can also bet that Hillary's people hand reviewed the initial cut to remove anything that was problematic. Hillary wouldn't have done this unless she had something to hide. She wouldn't have needed the private server unless she had something to hide.If I can amplify that: he's talking about litigation where, say, only 1% of all emails would be relevant to a lawsuit. But of course she did the opposite -- because it was her intention to delete as much as possible. And furthermore -- this has already gone off-track because this whole analysis accepts, from the get-go, that it was okay for her to maintain her own server, with her the only gatekeeper of which records she'd turn over to the American public, rather than simply having them on the governmnet system as the law requires. but whatever, #NeverTrumpers-- keep obsessing over Trump's negligent mishandling of a retweet. Rightly or wrongly, that should have been a decision made at the DOJ level.
I thought the fix would be at the DOJ level with Lynch, not at the FBI level with Comey. Having it done by Comey gives more political cover.
So Comey was a total sell-out. He could have just stuck with the facts. Instead, he created his own prosecutorial discretion. In addition to slanting the factual investigation.

Bill had a face to face with Lynch to explain that closure needed to be made, stat! So they winged the 'interview' and then the public announcement this morning.
Now anyone so inclined may vote for Hill with a clear conscience that she was exonerated. And they will.

It was really simple. People in your neighborhood would comprise your district (not some odd, narrow path through your neighborhood to connect the scum to your south to the scum to your north while excluding the people across the street). You'd all get together and pick someone from amongst you that you trusted to speak & vote on behalf of the neighborhood. You did the same with someone else that you'd ship off to the Statehouse and him and the others would take care of the senate bit on behalf of the state.
The job was supposed to suck and only pay enough to cover expenses. It was supposed to be service you did out an obligation to your neighborhood then went home. It was never supposed to be a career. It was what you did because you wanted to give back to your community for your career.
How does any ration person expect a national party full of unemployable sycophants from DC to represent the interests of their neighborhood? It is idiotic. The whole idea was to minimize or eliminate central government. Instead, we created central parties and then elected them to central govenment.

My landline phone (Panasonic) has a feature to block calls. You go through the same steps as if you were going to save the number but will be given a 'block' option. When a blocked number comes in it just rings once then stops.

Although I was proud to have voted for Cruz in the primaries, I'm wickedly delighted as to voting for Trump in November.
Not because I'm enamored of Trump.
But I hate Hillary, her ilk, and all that they represent enough to vote Trump, and that without remorse, apology or regret.
She must be defeated by several times the margin of fraud. An order of magnitude, might barely suffice.

One point Comey glided over was her violation of Federal record-keeping requirements. Even apart from the national security aspects, Hillary set up a personal repository of government records in her home. Once she started operating a repository of government records in her home, she was subject to the same obligations as other public officials responsible for operating government data repositories.
She was required to make that data repository open and available to process from court litigation, FOIA requests, Congressional oversight and inspector general reviews.
Comey is pretending that there is nothing illegal about a cabinet officer secretly running her government correspondence out of a data server in her home, unconnected to and non-compliant with government record systems. He was pretending that the only legal concern had to do with classified information.
And she did not have the right to unilaterally go into that government data repository and delete 30,000 emails out of the ordinary course of business. The mass deletion was obstruction of justice, plain and simple.

I can tell you that a statement of the nature he delivered, a long detailed description of her conduct using precise terms summarizing an investigation of many months, probably took at least a week, and more likely 10 days to two weeks, to prepare.
Comey was not running the investigation on a day-to-day basis. That person, or an underling, undoubtedly prepared a first draft and then that was reviewed by a number of senior FBI personnel working on the investigation, and Comey himself, and no doubt there were numerous conference calls and markups before it was finalized.
We know that at least since Pagliano was offered limited immunity, that DOJ lawyers have been closely involved with the FBI investigation. So while Comey himself may not have called Loretta or Barry to give them a head's up, almost certainly the DOJ people working with the FBI knew as it was being drafted and circulated what the outcome and reasoning was going to be. And the DOJ lawyers are essentially an extension of the Hillary campaign and her legal defense team.

This is another sleight-of-hand. The requirement of intent is NOT that the perpetrator intended to violate some law. It is that the perpetrator intended to do the conduct that is proscribed by law.
To convict a bank robber, you don't need to prove that the bank robber knew of the federal law against bank robbery and specifically intended to violate that statute. You just need to prove that he intended to rob the bank, which is normally shown by the simple fact that he robbed the bank.
Similarly, you don't need to prove that Hillary intended to violate Section 793 of Title 18 of the US Code dealing with mishandling classified information. You simply need to prove that she intended to mishandle classified information. Which she obviously did by setting up her own government communication system and running classified information through it again and again and again and so on.

I'm recalling the immediate aftermath of losing my husband. There was the usual buzz of condolences and supportive statements. One experiences an artificial high of sorts.
Once the buzz ceases - and that will happen in a week or two, IIRC -
everyone returns to the usual, and you're left with an armful of misery
and no one to help you carry it. In all honesty, no one else can.
Many of my classmates on FB have changed their profile pics to a memorial icon for my friend.
That's nice. But wtf does it mean, really? And at what point do you go back to a regular profile pic?
So I think I'll wait a few weeks until the buzz fades, then reach out to his wife.
