Kurt Schlicter: You Owe Them Nothing.

A great piece by Kurt, written before the FBI made it official that we're living in a post-constitutional oligarchy.

If the government is now fundamentally transformed, isn't it time citizens fundamentally transformed their relationship with the rogue government?

I would like to see some movement in how this election is going to play out, and maybe that will happen. Right now though, it looks like, if things stay close, she'll win, because she can get the electoral votes she needs much more easily than he can.

A Trump win will not change much, really. I don't mean to say there's no difference between her and him, what I mean is, the momentum is all in her favor, all in the favor of a continued federal usurpation, and if he is elected, he might not be in any position to change that momentum.

So at best he's slowing it down, until the next time. So we're going to have to have SOMETHING else happen, in addition to voting.

68 >>> There is no legitimate government in these united States of America.

There are only wild, lawless brigands seeking to impose their will on us. We should deal with them accordingly.
....

The problem is bigger than that.

Let's pretend that every elected everyone suddenly died of a heart attack along with everyone running to replace them.

You would still have:
- all the unelected czars, secretaries, etc.
- the giant mass of agencies and their millions of employees and unions
- every college, university, secondary and primary school and all their employees, unions, and students
- all the private unions
- all the lobbying groups

Let's say that all these people also suffered simultaneous, fatal heart attacks while lighting hit their facilities and burned them to the ground...

We'd still have to deal with the 52% of the public who have repeatedly voted for this shit.

Let's expand the tragic heart failure plague to include them...

Now you're left with the 43.5% of people who never vote, the majority of which can been seen claiming that Jesse Ventura and Lee Harvey Oswald where amoung the founding fathers that signed the Declaration of the Constitution on July 4, 1976, just after WWII ended, when we declared our independence from China.

I don't think they "want it", that's a big reason why they are trying to disarm us at every opportunity.

The difference between the Left and Right is they want to rule us against our will. The Left NEVER talks about things like secession, they want us under their rule. Our side is fine with the Blue States striking out on their own.

Posted by: Decaf at July 05, 2016 01:05 PM (dRz86)

83 If you ever wonder why the GOPe seems never to do anything constructive to stop the evil march towards fascism that is the progressive party, consider that they too are bought and paid for. The power is the reward. The being "above the little people (others)" is the reward for going along with the great swindle.

Politicians are beholden to corporations, who now supply both the money and the laws which they want passed. You, mere dandelion, are simply an unfortunate consequence of uncontrolled population expansion. Corporations rule all, and politicians are put into place at the whims of the bog money donors, now all corporations thanks to Citizens United.

Globalization means money for the Clinton coffers, which means power, which means that Hillary was never going to jail. Which you knew already, if you're honest with yourself.

The only thing that seems to have changed now is that they no longer care to uphold appearances of propriety. That in itself bothers me more than Hillary now getting a free orange pantsuit. When they quit caring if you know a game is afoot, it means they consider you impotent and or pacified.

Because let's face it, who among us is really going to march on Washington for scalps? And if we did, what would actually come of it other than hot air and some trampled lawns?

Yep. Like the story about the video maker causing the outbreaks that led to Benghazi. It was a fiction from the start. Nobody intended it to remain intact throughout, it only provided them cover long enough for the narrative to keep from moving in a direction they did not want it to go. And they knew, eventually, the public would move on dot org. Which it did.

Ever feel a quiet rage bubbling up? I hope enough of this country's citizens feel just that way in November.

Now I fully expect the MFM to engage in 'round the clock, full-on repair mode, complete with calls to put it all behind us and those that don't are only doing so because she's a womyn and/or part of the vast right wing conspiracy. It will be a parade of media insanity to paper over this bitch's crimes.

If I push a guy and he hits his head and dies, I am GUILTY of homicide. The act that resulted in death, the push, was INTENTIONAL. If someone bumps me, and I bump into someone who falls and dies, no intent, no guilt.

If I press "send" on an email with confidential info in it, that is the intentional action required. The sender doesn't have to want to hurt the country. Just intentionally sending the info is the crime.

And that doesn't even involve willful negligence of such a degree that rises to intent, legally.

UNRWA Spokesperson Chris Gunness harshly criticized our decision to demolish the homes of two terrorists who last December stabbed two Israelis to death at the Jaffa Gate in Jerusalem, Lapid wrote on Facebook.

I have one question for Mr. Gunness: Whats it got to do with you? Actually I have another one: Who asked you?

UNRWA is the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees. Its role is clear. It is meant to help Palestinians find work and if they cant find work then to assist them with food and medication.

Thats it. It doesnt have another role. There is nothing in UNRWAs mandate which justifies intervention in security matters. There is nothing in Chris Gunness past which qualifies him to give us advice on how to protect ourselves.

228 If Trump actually stood a chance, this back and forth might be worthwhile. Please, do you honestly believe they will let Trump within ten miles of the White House? Trump will never overcome all the forces arrayed against him. Even the GOPe has abandoned him, along with their donors. You think Trump is going to empty his checkbook to fight Hillary and her Citibank donors? You think Trump will be heard above the constant interviews with La Raza and CAIR? The constant barge of anti-Semitic and racist association the media will portray?

Trump was fucked from the get go. He's only there because they don't care so much about fixing the primaries because they control the general.

229 >>I don't know. He may not be corrupt, he may just be weak and afraid.

There is another option. He may be very calculating.

If he had come out and recommended charges the election would likely be over. Sure, they could try and jam Biden into the role but as much as the msm loves to paint him as lovable Uncle Joe he blows on the campaign trail. And Bernie would be a disaster. He might not have wanted to be the guy that threw a giant monkey wrench into the process.

He was also probably correct that no jury is going to convict her on this. Clintons never get convicted.

But he really hammered her politically. Being called reckless and careless with national security information by the head of the FBI is pretty damning. Hopefully, Trump uses this in a smart way.

There is a small subsection of the population that thinks Trump is Hitler. Seriously, they think he's a monstrous, murderous tyrant in waiting. They think he is a dictator who will create monuments out of the skulls of Americans while bathing in the blood of innocents.

How they think he'd do that with a congress and press hostile to him, and where they get that from given his total lack of any such inclinations or behavior in his life, I can only guess.

The man wrote a book about his political ideas, its true, just like Hitler. Except his isn't about paranoiac fantasies and blaming Jews for everything. His is about how America needs to change for the better with some great ideas and some stupid ones in it.

Yeah, right, polls are reliable and unbiased.

And even those, the intentionally skewed polls, show Trump within spitting distance, and often within the margin of error, of Clinton.

Something like 70% of the nation now say they "don't trust the media," so yeah, I do think he can withstand the barrage of media assaults against him.

What worries me are not any of those things you cite, but the well-oiled and perfected voter-fraud systems that the Democratic Party has established in Ohio, Pennsylvania and Florida. They are so blatant with it every two years, just outrageous in-your-face cheating to deliver hundreds of thousands of votes to the Dem machine, and yet no one ever has the gumption to stop them, no matter how many times it is exposed and pointed out.

If anything might sink Trump, it's that voter fraud in battleground states.

Trump's excesses, if they turn out to exist, will be held in check by two parties in a hostile Congress. Hillary's excesses will be covered, as were Obama's, by playing the Historic First Card, which shields against all prosecution no matter what you've done.

Obama could be found standing in the streets of DC standing on top of a pile of corpses with a smoking gun and they'd decline to prosecute. Same with Hillary. Trump will have no such special protection.

338 In 1776, a revolution was fought on the generally on the basis of taxation, representation, and forced housing of troops.

Fast forward to now:
- Every dollar of income is taxed at 10- 39.6%, then taxed again when used to purchase things, then taxed again on the value of property owned, taxed again on any interest or related earnings, then taxed again when you die and leave any remaining assets you have to anyone or otherwise seized in total.
- By unilateral Executive order, private and public land has been seized and billions of tax dollars are being spent without any vote or consent to house, feed, and educate millions of illegal aliens, refugees from foreign countries that have declared war on the US, and others, many of whom have proven to be enemy combatants and other who refuse allegiance to the US and it's laws.
- The vast majority of government enforcement actions have absolutely no basis in law and have never been voted on by anyone. The enforcements are based on regulations created and enforced exclusively by agencies full on unelected bureaucrats who are accountable to no one, with the slight, very loose exception of the Executive Branch.
- Laws and taxes are routinely targeted at individuals (while others are exempted) and specific items, taxes are created punitively, and applied selectively without any regard to due process or equal protection.
- Thanks to Obamacare and John Roberts, we now have a punitive tax that punishes the act of not purchasing something.
- The national debt is now over $19 trillion dollars (officially). If 100% of GDP were seized by the government and used solely for debt service, this debt could not be repaid. Meanwhile, Congress has ceded it's authority to raise the debt limit to the unilateral whim on the President.

The list can go on and on.

Now tell me, how does voting for (or against) anyone do anything to address any of this?

I ask this leaving out the fact that the past 2 (or more) elections have given us swing districts with over 100% turnout, endless lists of voting dead, and other irrefutable signs of fraud that no one is addressing.

Again, how does this get solved at the ballot box?

340 Trump's people should make a commercial showing all the crimes Comey said the evidence showed, and then Hillary repeatedly lying to the American public in media interviews (she never sent any classified e-mails, she only had one server, she turned over all the government-business e-mails and only retained the ones about yoga and Chelsea's wedding, etc.).

He should also do a commercial using those quotes from State Dept. people saying no past Secretaries of State had ever done things like set up private servers, or burn their daily official schedules, and then connect the dots for the LIV's: the reason Hillary did these things is because she needed to hide the evidence that she was selling her influence over government policy decisions (such as the sale of Uranium One), and she needed to make sure her meetings with "donors" to the Clinton Foundation couldn't be tracked, and that her e-mails couldn't be obtained through FOIA requests.

No mention of compromising SAP programs, which the emails leaked confirmed. No mention of her redacting confidential markings, which the emails leaked confirmed. No mention that the gross negligence that Comey said she did, in a press conference, is actually a crime they are not charging.

Grossly negligent on matters of National Security but she gets the nuclear football.

My American flag came down today, and it stays down. You NeverTrumpers and fence sitters better wake the fuck up. You thought the nation might be ill, that it might be salvageable. Today you just got the cancer diagnosis. Plan accordingly. I am.

Pretty damned tasty. First custom flavor.....Wild Cherry, with a hint of peppermint. Definitely worth the price.

375 As soon as the various former McCain staffers began to kneecap Sarah Palin in public, a process upon which they embarked while Obama's victory confetti was still being swept up, I inferred that Romneyworld was quietly inducing those staffers to do so, and that it was a pre-emptive strike by the Mittbot to ruin her reputation before the 2012 primary opportunity.

Still have seen nothing to dissuade me from that hypothesis. Romney could be absolutely ruthless with Republican opponents. Would that he had brought the same ruthlessness to the general election and a Democratic one.

(n.b., Palin did end up with a ruined reputation, and is permanently unviable as a candidate now, but sadly, a large measure of that ruination was her own clumsy fault. Whatever the Mittbot may or may not have done behind the scenes would have been merely additive.)

....

Jail? No. Then you wouldn't be available to keep producing things. They won't put you in jail. Not enough jail space, too much time invested...

They have a much simpler solution. Once your filing (or lack thereof) trips the automated system, an automated letter goes out to every bank that has your SSN on record, seizing your assets. You won't now about it until your ATM balance is zero.

Now, you have a choice. You can petition to get your money back (for years or decades, ask anyone who has gotten hit for structuring)... but you have no money to fight or petition.

So, your alternative is to go back to work, do as your told, and accept the addition fees and interest that the government just ordered your employer to withhold from your wages.

Art. V convention is the only way out of this. And before anyone starts telling me that the gov. will just ignore it, (a full clause in the Constitution), the ideas I've heard of other ways to fix the people's relationship with the government are ludicrous at best.

Texas is not going to 'exit" the USA. Not paying taxes(gee, what happens when you go to your employer and tell him you want NO withholding) will land you in bankruptcy and then jail. or the one I marvel at the most, a civil war.

This isn't 1862, the age of telegraph and written letters, cannons and no electricity. Any armed resurrection would be immediately and positively put down by the government, and by the Army, National Guard, and local Law enforcement. Who are far better equipped than any of us.

The best any of us can do is to try to right some of the wrongs through a convention and through the ballot box. Keep trying to work at the local level as much as possible, just as the left did and has done successfully for 50 years. Try to educate young people.

The reason this time some are having a hard time is because Trump is so far out there. We used to argue daily about who was and who wasn't a conservative. The only bar for Trump for a lot of people is that he isn't Hillary.

WEll, it's like this - I've heard:

you get a regular, menial gig, something on paper - go ahead and file, reporting your income from that, & etc, if you feel moved to do so, but know that people do and have and will go DECADES without filing a return.

Now, if you should happen to have hobbies that involve other hobbyists, and some money changes hands, well, the paperwork is so freakin' complicated, and so it's probably safest to just not burden the IRS with trying to help you figure it out.

Or if you've got a cash-business (I've got a laundromat) you should know that you need to be very careful reporting to the IRS, because they are relying on you to provide accurate information.

Courts do judgements. In certain cases, judgements can be made into garnishments (bankruptcy issues, etc.) by court order.

The IRS does't need that hassle, thanks to regulatory magic!

Case in point: Structuring. No court. No charges. No notice. No investigation. No indication of a crime. Your bank (unknown to you) files a report that shows more than one, regular deposit of less than $10,000. The IRS flags it for a structuring violation, immediately seizes the account (and possibly other accounts) and there is never a court date unless you borrow money to try to sue them to get your money back.

If your tax return doesn't show up after showing up for years, you will get a letter, which is the start of it. Since you are late filing, you have already incurred a penalty.

And so it begins.

Don't forget, the IRS is in charge of regulating the Obamacare exchange supplemental you can be eligible to receive. And you must now declare and provide the ID # of your qualifying insurance plan regardless of whether it is from work or from and exchange. The IRS wants to make sure that if you are in a plan that provides more benefits than the poor person in the ghetto neighborhood who get's theirs for free, that you are paying taxes on the "extra benefit".

The IRS will find you. Don't believe the stuff about how if you don't file , they don't know where you are, LOL.

Only Hillary has lost emails. The FBI can only lose a terrorist's wife after she helps him shoot up a night club.

They will not lose you.

473 Another OT - but I wanted to share this post with the group. This friend of mine is a Muslim, in Malaysia and very vocal about ISIS and Islam. I am expecting a fatwa on him pretty soon.

"Its about time that we Muslims accept the fact that something has
really gone, very very wrong in the understanding and interpretation of
Al Quran. We have to stop taking the easy way out by blaming everything
on US, Jews, Israel and Christians conspiracy. We cannot justify anymore
that the violent and barbaric act of bombing innocent civilians are a
direct repercussion of what is happening in Palestine.
Its about
time that we Muslims realise that we, only we, are the cause of all the
misery now. Its because we were not united in halting the progress of
ISIS ideology. This problem is not a Middle East problem anymore. It is
not confined to the Arabs anymore. When a Malaysian, who grew up
surrounded by Muslims and non Muslims in harmony, who could get
influenced manipulated to the extent of becoming a suicide bomber, then
something is really wrong.
We have to stop looking for a
scapegoat and start looking at ourselves. Where have we gone wrong? Is
it because of the Arabisation of our culture and lifestyle? Is it
because we have been overly fanatic and obsessed with self claimed
scholars, mullahs, imams, mufti and ustaz that we fail to use our brains
to differentiate between right and wrong? Is it because, we allowed
these people to creep in, spread their ideology and influence our people
in the name of Islam? Is it because we were greedy and selfish for
political power and position that we encouraged extremism?
Lets
mirror ourselves. It may be a bitter pill to swallow, but we have to
admit it that we have diverted too far away from the real teaching of
Prophet Muhammad s.a.w. It looks like we are using Islam, Al Quran and
the Prophet as a tool for power and money. We have been too greedy and
selfish to book our place in heaven to the extent of indirectly doing
everything forbidden in Islam. Say what you want. It doesnt make
sense to claim that Islam is a peaceful religion when its followers are
the exact opposite. How we can claim Islam is a loving religion when
its followers keep killing innocent lives. If our Islamic scholars in
Malaysia thinks that ISIS does not represent the true Islam, then come
out and say it. Issue a fatwa. Let it be clear that we are against it.
Instead of being busy with cinemas, political parties, women's boobs and
legs and other petty things"

I'll "win" the case and all interest charges will be voided, I just haven't lawyered up yet because it's still in the back and forth stage.

But my main point is, if millions engaged in this as a protest, the US government would be sunk overnight.

My tax return was not a protest, but in the IRS eyes I basically didn't pay taxes for an entire year and they haven't done shit besides send letters.

511 This isn't 1862, the age of telegraph and written letters, cannons and no electricity.

Posted by: Jen the original at July 05, 2016 01:55 PM (HbTvc)

-------------------------------------------------------------

There is a good chance that 50% of the U.S. military would defect in any serious constitutional crisis involving something like guns for example. Right now according to the polls Hillary's approval rating with the military is awful. Plus if you throw in how the military in general has been treated by the left over 50 plus years, the VA, just being one example, etc., then that situation becomes even more likely.

So at the least you will have a 50-50 split in the military. If you add to that local law enforcement sympathies varies depending on the part of the country you live it changes the calculus even more. Then we throw in resources like water, food supplies, possession of strategic areas, then the likelihood of a "red" insurrection actually winning, or succeeding in breaking away, goes up even more.

Now the key is the situation needs to be of an important constitutional nature of fundamental importance. Not a wildlife refuge and some guys cattle herd. You would need a useful PR disaster for the progressives and if Hillary wins then we will get one considering she is not exactly thinking straight anymore.

Obama knew when to back down from a "red line" and use other methods, Hillary not so much.

Once again...it only take 33% of the country wanting to roll to reach critical mass. The middle of the road fence sitters are useless people...unlikely to help either side. They will complain, but that is it.

It will be more like the Roman Civil Wars of the late Republic with drones, lasers, rail guns, and even nukes. Not pretty stuff, but never the less a legions vs. legions situation.

532 The photo of the Two Evils in the article is nightmarish.

The author is correct. With the ruling today there are no laws that cannot be broken by the special ruling class. They smirk, as "what does it matter at this point?"

In the olde days rules did matter. Elected officials, sworn to uphold the law with right hand on the Bible, had a moral duty to do their best in obeying law. Don't like it? Take it up the chain to the Supreme Court. Oh, wait. They are corrupt, too.

In the olde days you sort of "thought," at times, the FBI were looking after the good guys and chasing the bad guys. Now they hesitate to be islamophobes (where is Mateen's wife?).

In the olde days you lost elections but still felt like, well, this is America, it will all work out, etc. After all, we have LAWS.

Now? Either a sign I am an adult or this is far worse in history (corruption of all branches of government) than ever before. Thanks, Romney, for losing the election you dummy. Seven and 1/2 years on the road to hell.

If this does not get some people off the fence to vote Trump, then nothing will. Sad day in American history. But life will go on for most of us. I will not let this defeat me, but boy am I po'd.

The FBI basically called Hilz a stoopid and incompetent dunderhead (yes, great qualifications for Leader of Formerly Free World). Who did not mean to weaken national security or lie under oath.

I just hit that guy, impaled in my front windshield while drunk driving as an illegal. Part of his torso is also on my trunk. But I did not mean bad intent and he did get in my way on the sidewalk. Oops! Guess I broke a few laws. What does it matter anyway?

533 There is a lot you can do against Leviathan without even sticking your neck out. Some thoughts in no particular order:

1 Stop buying stuff
2 Do only what the government directly compels you to do.
3 Pay in cash with a winkwink
4 Cheat the government whenever possible
5 Steal all your entertainment
6 If you know of tax cheating, keep your mouth shut
7 If called to jury, refuse to convict if the law is unjust
8 Discriminate in all your private dealings, without openly saying so
9 If you see a CoC sticker on a business, go elsewhere
10 Vote against all tax levies, particularly school levies
11 Buy firearms and ammo. It's not simply a just-in-case, it's a good financial investment of small sums when savings are yielding 1/4 of a percent.

Here's the rub: The only purpose of threatening letters is so they can forestall the statute of limitations. Ex. You get a nastygram, your CPA responses... they have proof you got the nastygram and the statute of limitations clock is stopped.

Then government laziness and inefficiency kicks in. They might take further action. They might not. Time is on their side. I'm half convinced that someone at the local IRS office has an adding machine and a bucket full of collection cases. Once they add up the minimum required, the rest stay in the bucket till next time.

Now, if you fail to respond, it gives you a statute of limitations defense (What letter? I didn't get no letter!) and they will act before the clock runs out.

It's the IRS version of prioritizing. They will get to you eventually.

Remember Lois Lerner and what she and her cohorts did to thousands of individuals who were starting up non profits with the name freedom, or liberty in them. She not only slow tracked the non profit status, but then opened up IRS investigations on the businesses and personal tax files of those individuals. Audited them.

And what has happened to her? Nothing. She retired with immunity from prosecution, her pension and she received a bonus her final year.

626 That's a great piece. I will take. The time to read it more carefully later.

I came to the same conclusion a long time ago when I realized illegals don't have to follow the laws I do, and are not even expected to.

And "sucker" was the word I applied to myself.

I am - or was - a great believer I the rule of law. But when I realized it only applies to some of us, I no longer did right because in addition to it being against the law to do otherwise, it was also "the right thing to do."

I no longer considered it " the right thing to do." Now I do it because of the punishment. Oh, I still follow the law when no one is looking, and impeccably so. But the notion that this is how we pull together as a team in this society has long since evaporated.

My whole strategy going forward is just to keep my head down. Because I also know that even if you follow the law, they'll get you anyway if they want to. Good thing I'm unimportant.

627 She didn't give her endorsement until she did on to her Facebook followers the day before the election and she thinks she has the standing to tell other people to get on board the Trump train in July?

Fuck her.

629 I'm not letting child molesters go free because I'm mad at Hillary and the FBI.

The idea of jury nullification is that the law is unjust, or unjust as applied to this defendant. Even if the defendant is guilty beyond a shadow of a doubt as the law is written, if you believe the law is unjust or unfairly applied, you should acquit.

I was on that train for a long time, I thought everybody did that already.

633 By the way, do I need a more elaborate nickname? I've been posting with a single name for a few years, but is the situation more dire now?

634 Kurt is right about this stuff being liberating. Obeying the law is no longer a matter of ethics, but merely one of consequence. If you can hurt your enemies and get away with it, do.

Welcome to the 21st century where the tree of liberty either gets watered or dies. Along with your liberties and freedoms and rights.

Anyone who isn't dismayed by the Government as configured by Obama isn't paying attention and most likely has a post 1990 public education.

636 Interesting that in the list of things that he lists that we don't owe the government, the one thing people could withhold that would actually matter isn't listed.

637 You owe them Trump. Act like you're going to give him to them rather than acting like you've already lost.
