10 NY State has passed the US's first terrorist registry. If you are a "terrorist" you have to register with the State. So how do they determine if you are a terrorist? Number 1 be convicted; OK that's fine. Number two be placed on a list by the US government. We have already seen that is NOT fine. You get on their list based only on the say-so of a nameless government beurocrat. My recommendation, move out of NY. But unmentioned in this story is how the State will get a "real terrorist" to voluntarily register. This is an incredibly stupid law.

Good morning Skip. A follow on to your mention of Civil War repro cap and ball revolvers in yesterday's gun thread. If possible, try to handle both the Colt style and the Remington. They feel and point rather differently. People tend to have a preference between them depending on fit. Also, if you use a capper, most Remingtons have too narrow a slot for the capper to get in. I have to push the caps on with a finger or pencil. And don't be put off with the rear sight being a notch in the Colt hammer which can only be seen when the hammer is at full cock. It seems awkward but is surprisingly accurate. The Remington has fixed sights like any Model 10.

Per my #23, my concern is that if Hilary is brought up on charges, it will galvanize a somewhat seemingly depressed Democrat base, whether she remains the candidate or someone else should she step down.

Part of me thinks this is the plan all along; that the Phoenix news crew didn't just happen to discover the Lynch/Bill meeting but was told about it in advance. SCOAMF hates the Clintons so it's a win-win if she's forced out or not.

The permanent Leftist/Democrat controlled bureaucracy doesn't really have to hide what they do anymore. There is virtually zero accountability; as we have seen in the past, IG's who are actually doing their job are harassed, threatened and smeared.

Besides, legislation now minimally are hundreds of pages long, some a few thousand. And you can hide a lot of goniffing on those pages since they are either not open for publics scrutiny or must be voted on in 12 hours or less.

We're being robbed and put in virtual chains day by day. Soon to be replaced with actual chains.

That was my 'take'. That the plane sat on the runway in the sun and the fuel became super heated. Electrical spark and explosion.

That sounded really shady to me. Full fuel tanks don't explode. The plane was going to fly across the Atlantic. No way those tanks were less than topped off.

I never saw that they tested the theory of 'hot fuel'.

Yeah. The wires inside one of the tanks had its insulation scraped off by rubbing against a bulkhead. Fuel is pumped into and out of empty tanks to distribute the weight during flight. So a spark set off the vapors.

The problem - and this is people like that guy at American Thinker and other die hards in the documentary talking - is that there was supposedly a lot of shenanigans around the investigation and eyewitnesses who were threatened if they talked, including a number of LE officials.

I'd like to say I trust the government until proven wrong, but the past 7.5 years have done a number on that score with me on top of my already wary nature of politicians to begin with.

102 Jonah writes about "substantive justice". Its not enough that criminals get investigated, and interviewed by the FBI. If the result is a whitewash, then it lacks substantive justice (ie, she's not getting what's coming to her), and once its obvious law doesn't apply anymore to the aristocracy, then political violence is almost inevitable in this country. This slo-mo destruction of America by the political class is very painful to watch.

123 Today's Sunday morning Praise and Worship comes from the one-of-kind voice of the lovely Patsy Cline singing with Willie Nelson through the magic of technology that I don't understand.

It's the wonderful old song - "Just a Closer Walk With Thee", as only Patsy could sing it. I've been singing this song for as long as I can remember - maybe since I was 3 or 4 years old? The author is unknown, and it's origins may go back to the Civil War era. It's been recorded by heaps of artists, including Elvis Presley (who should have stayed a Gospel singer and maybe he'd be alive today but that's a whole 'nuther discussion).

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OOKaircCiGI

"Just A Closer Walk With Thee"

I am weak, but Thou art strong.
Jesus, keep me from all wrong.
I'll be satisfied as long
As I walk, let me walk close to Thee.

Just a closer walk with Thee.
Grant it Jesus, is my plea.
Daily walking close to Thee -
Let it be, dear Lord, let it be.

125 Prayer request

Today I start new assignments at two little churches. I am not the pastor-a seminary student-who is a very keen, attractive youngish woman is doing that. I just officiate at Holy Communion. It always makes one a little nervous starting at a new place. I am grateful for your prayers for me, but more especially for her as the one church liked the pastor who served there before her very much and didn't want him to go (The Bishop sent him someplace else). She said that "They weren't very warm." I told her that they had to get to know her, which will take time, and if they're going to leave because the other pastor left (and it's too far for them to go there) without even getting to know her they are not looking to Jesus and their road of discipleship there with the community there. I also told her to love them, listen to them, proclaim the Gospel and point them to Jesus the Lord.

I met with her last week and she said, "I plan to give 100% to these churches. I told her, "Well, maybe you should lower your percentage somewhat. After all, you have a husband, a two year old and will be going to Seminary. for your second year :^)

It's one of those "God incidences" (Not coincidences). She has a theatre background as I do, but I'm not officially her mentor and not the pastor so I really have to be very tactful about giving any sort of advice.

Thanks for your prayers.

136 Will do, Fenelon. We have a family friend who is a recent seminary grad but has yet to find a church where he can minister. He can't even do fill-in spots for vacationing pastors because he can't be ordained until he is called to a church of his own. The whole think seems mere religiousity to me - I come from a background where if two or more believers are meeting together, say a Bible study group, they can partake of communion together in their home or wherever they're at. I don't think any of the early church believers went to seminary, but they still managed to serve the Lord's Supper.

But that's just me. If you are part of a denomination, you have to abide by their rules, I suppose.

It was a mistake, but ironically, that shoot-down directly led to the end of the Iran-IRaq war. Which was a brutal WWI type conflict with modern weapons. Poison gas, missiles targeting cities, and mine-clearance with marching convicts led to many casualties.

178 TWA Flight 800:

A book I read some years ago "A Thousand Years for Revenge" reported on a lot of the plotting of Ramzi Yousef (made the bomb for the 1st WTC bombing in 1993). He is also the nephew of Khalid Sheik Mohammed (now in Gitmo), and Yousef is in the Supermax prison in Colorado, for the rest of his life.

Yousef made a bomb from a modified Casio digital watch, guncotton in his travel kit (it looked harmless, eh) , nitroglycerine in a bottle of aftershave (liquids you travel with) , powered by a battery hidden in the heal of his shoe (which is part of the shoe nonsense that goes on at airports). He made this bomb, and put it under a seat in a Philipines Airlines 747, with the plan of blowing it up (by igniting the centerline tank). He missed the placement of the bomb by a few rows, and killed a man who sat in the seat on the next flight and damaged the plane (it could still return and land), whose murder he is in prison for, among other things.
TWA flight 800 was blown up over Long Island Sound during the trial of the Blind Sheik, who was Yousef's Muslim preacher at the Mosque where a lot of the conspiracy for the first WTC bombing was started.

Make of that what you will.

Two corporations (both shadows of their former selves) have been left to an unworkable foundation, run by two lawyers and an accountant, for the benefit of four charities. These trustees will milk the assets for their own fees and fuck the beneficiary charities, who most likely will see nothing in the end.

As for the wife and I, the search goes on for the personal assets. Although her personal income tax filings show an average of about 1.5 million per year in taxable income over the past 32 years, it's a mystery where the bulk is.

About 7 million was given to charity (the vast majority to a university to maintain her board seat) over the years, but that came out of gross income, not taxable.

No provision for grandchildren (2) or great grand children (4) anywhere.

I can't see how the FBI can write a report that doesn't find a basis for charges, many of which will be felonies, based on what's already in the public domain.

You must remember how she parses every statement so that she can not be caught in a perjury trap. Recall that she had instructed her aids to remove all the classified markings on those letters before forwarding them.

Posted by: Vic We Have No Party at July 03, 2016 10:34 AM (mpXpK)

227 I mentioned the other day that I remember seeing a rainbow-colored U.S. flag at the 1984 Democrat convention. (I wasn't actually there; I just saw it on TV.)

It was either 84 or 88. It was when Jesse Jackson was running with his "Rainbow Coalition" and before the rainbow symbol was taken over by teh gheys.

All the white stars and stripes were in place, but it had a black field behind the stars, and the red stripes were replaced by rainbow colors. I thought it was actually kind of pretty and well done.

228 "Recall that she had instructed her aids to remove all the classified markings on those letters before forwarding them."

Forwarding those documents the way they did is itself a crime.

If the fix was in, why would Bill needed to get on Lynch's plane?

There's a willful blindness among MSM and most voters about how this will likely play out. How can the FBI not find facts to support charges? Question is how many are felonies. Lynch can no longer act as a buffer. Then what?

Posted by: Ignoramus at July 03, 2016 10:47 AM (bQxkN)

229 "Then what?"

Said it before many times and I still believe it.

The last thing sotero wants is another donktard to follow him. They expected a bush or at least another rino to follow. Would be a hel of a lot easier for sotero to stay in the limelight that way.

Still, he has a hatred that knows no bounds when it comes to slick willy and hillzebub.

He will play for the best deal he can get. Maybe he is playing to loot the foundation for as much as he can get for not indicting her?

231
I can't see how the FBI can write a report that doesn't find a basis for charges, many of which will be felonies, based on what's already in the public domain.

-------------------------------

I don't either. No indictment I'm completely resigned to -- but no recommendation for one?

I'm parsing that CNN tweet as the DoJ dropping the ball after the FBI recommends indictment -- Lynch or a deputy announces they're not going to charge Hillary. At that point, our only hope is a criminal leak by some FBI agent.

==================

225 Hillary's sticking with "I never received or sent anything marked classified." And she's not going to comment any more about the FBI's "review."
---------------------------

Also astonishing to me. The same talking points she's been pushing for a year -- all of them discredited. Did she use these on the FBI? What did they ask her? What did she say? She had lawyers with her; there's no way on earth they could have let her provide damaging info OR perjure herself. What would even be left?

Posted by: iforgot at July 03, 2016 10:55 AM (5o5ek)

232 Somebody said recently that it is significant that Bill came to Lynch, that it looks like the act of a supplicant. Maybe; who knows?

I've mentioned before that I'm not at all certain that Bill wants Hillary to win. He's got tons of money and can get all the nookie he wants, and take trips to Pedo Island. Why would he want to be back in the public eye again?

And he knows better than anyone what an evil psychotic bitch she is.

It may never get to an indictment for a lot of reasons, but we're headed to the FBI recommending felony charges and that getting leaked.

I can't see Barry having a chance at the money and influence he wants if the Clintons get in the White House. He and Jarrett know better than anyone that the Clintons don't share and they don't play fair. He's got to blast that Foundation to atoms or settle for crumbs from the Clinton table ever after.

How's it shake out?

1 - no indictment
2 - Biden parachute followed by probable Biden victory
3 - pardons the Clintons in January

It keeps his Democrat credentials shiny and solves his Clinton problem.

Which brings up, once again, the aides. How on earth do these people skate? Why hasn't Huma left the country?

237 Sheesh. This is a real-life Game of Thrones. All that's missing are the cute nekkid chicks. Which would almost make it bearable.

238 Biden winning? I'll bet against that. He's a joke. Trump will tear his ass to shreds and make the donkeytards enjoy it.

Posted by: Tim in Illinois. at July 03, 2016 11:07 AM (WVsWD)

239 I would watch a Trump/Biden debate on pay-per-view.

Only trouble with that is, how much of that money does the FAB control? And the spigot gets shut off if there's no Clinton in office to sell favors. Final threat is that if Hillary and the Foundation are actually hit with the charges they deserve, Bill probably goes on trial, too.

Bill's best bet is still to save the FAB from the fullest extent of justice, but if they somehow lose the White House and get their pardon, I'm sure they'll never sleep under the same roof again. There won't even be any joint public appearances unless Chelsea runs for Senate.

Posted by: iforgot at July 03, 2016 11:13 AM (5o5ek)

244 "OK. Biden is a shoe in."

I didn't say that. He presents a different challenge than running against Hillary, and might win. He starts out without high negatives.

I think Biden is a snake who's good at masking it.

Trump would need to tie Biden to Obama's failures.

Waal, I don't mean to shove anything down anyone's throat. It's just that I've seen a few anti-Trump morons perk up at the suggestion of a Biden run. The GOPe would love it, too.

Posted by: iforgot at July 03, 2016 11:28 AM (5o5ek)

254 Biden doesn't have high negatives. He's been careful not to be a polarizing figure, which Hillary certainly is. He'd run to be Obama's Third Term, with full Obama support. Obama still has high favorables, amazingly. Trick is to not alienate Hillary's supporters, so if Hillary falls it has to be seen to be completely her own fault. Hence Obama's head fakes in support.

Obama campaigns with Hillary on Tuesday, and Biden campaigns with her in Scranton later in the week. Coincidence?

Let's see if Obama scratches his face with his middle finger, as he did in 2008.

Yes. Biden is a snake, but he's really good at portraying a down-to-Earth aw-shucks man-of-the-people.

But boy howdy, any nation that would elect that drooling imbecile President deserves everything it gets. The problem is that the rest of us are trapped in the blast radius.

I think Trump would eviscerate Biden in a debate, but it would be a Battle of the Malipropisms. Lincoln and Douglas in the Great Beyond would be all like, "We don't know these people."

Posted by: rickl at July 03, 2016 11:34 AM (sdi6R)

257 I think this is spin from the Clintons, too.

But Joey Choo-Choo is the nominee, look for a Rose Garden strategy that puts all others in history to shame.

Posted by: Cloyd Freud, Unemployed at July 03, 2016 11:54 AM (ZEzaq)

258 A typical current statement from MSM:
"If she is indicted, she will face further questions about her honesty and perhaps even calls for her to step aside."

If she's indicted "further questions"? "perhaps" calls that she step aside?

MSM is letting Hillary take us further down the path to a Constitutional Crisis.
