Not wanting to go OT too soon but I was listening to Fox News on the Sirius radio as they were discussing Hillary Clinton's email server and I heard what is apparently going to be one of the new Democrat talking points.
This Dishonest Democrat offered up that there has been no proof that any foreign intelligence service had cracked into Hillary Clinton's private email server. I would like to point out that typically when a company finds out that hackers have breached the security of their computer systems the hackers have had access for months and sometimes for years. It often takes configuring the system to record and detect intrusions to find that a system has been hacked and it would not surprise me in the least to learn that Hillary Clinton's private email server did not have much or even anything in the way of security configured and I would be very surprised if any intrusion detection software had been installed. Huma simultaneously drew salaries from State, the Foundation and a Bill Clinton venture. This suggests that she was the point for "co-ordinating." It's also a helpful fact for proving a RICO case. Posted by: @votermom at June 10, 2016 11:47 AM (7lVbc) Both of them strike me as people who do not necessarily want to be rich in order to be able to buy things, it is more about the lifestyle. They are not the type of people who will build monuments or grand houses where people will tour 100 years from now. They will not amass a collection of priceless art and then donate it to a museum they helped start. They like the trappings of wealth because it proves that they have worth. It is exactly the same reason she pursues the presidency so terminator like, it will prove to her that her life had meaning. Same with Bill and how many women he can sleep with and how he adores the adulation of those he talks to. The sad thing is, they already have what should give their lives meaning and showed they were worth something- their children and grand children. I hate the Clintons for what they do and have allowed to happen, but that does not mean I do not feel sorry for them. 68 Here's a Federalist piece on Clinton Foundation expenditures for 2013 -- 10% went to grants:
Posted by: GnuBreed at June 10, 2016 11:50 AM (gyKtp) --------------------- They HAVE to spend 10% a year (roughly) on "charity" to keep their bogus tax status. But note that "grants" and direct services to the poor, sick, or gender-confused are not the same thing. You could give a grant to the Burundi Association for Talking about Hunger and that would qualify. I remember reading an article once about this and it is surprising how often the "charity" grants are just circulated among foundations rather than providing direct services. It's quite a scam. They will not amass a collection of priceless art and then donate it to a museum they helped start. ------------------------- I don't think they take any joy in the beautiful things of this world either -- not nature, not art, not even good-tasting food. 128 Trump has no campaign.
Discuss. ______ The premise is this: You need a huge campaign, therefore someone without one can't win. But perhaps the premise is wrong. And should be you can win without a campaign, because the political landscape has changed drastically. In the world of social media, 24 hour cable, etc.....maybe you don't need a campaign. And especially not for someone like Trump who is so bombastic. All I know is that for over a year, all the experts/pundits have said Trump has zero chance to win the Rep nomination. They've all been wrong. And so now that they tell me he has zero chance to win the general, I'm going to question their expertness. Posted by: Monsieur Moo Moo at June 10, 2016 12:17 PM (0LHZx) 174

NBC news has discovered that 35 years ago, one of Trump's companies only paid a cabinet maker 75% of the agreed-upon price when the cabinets were found to be lower quality than was ordered.
Apparently, the cabinet maker never forgave Trump for not paying full price for the inferior merchandise. He eventually died (probably due to this underpayment) years later, but his son continues the tradition of hating Trump. Posted by: jwest at June 10, 2016 12:17 PM (Zs4uk) 177

But unlike some more competent morons here, like Ignoramus and iforgot, I have not done the work of following the ongoing activities. They might be able to confirm/correct my recollection. I do not see how the FBI could *not* be pursuing that whole gigantic tableau of potentially criminal activity. Just the fact that several key staffers on the 7th floor (secretary's office at State) were on multiple payrolls is mind-blowing. The degradation of this country has occurred at warp speed. For years, on almost a daily basis, things (or tiny fractional parts of "things") come to light that, for my entire previous life (and before that, in our history), would have been instant political death. Heres an ugly footnote to Wednesdays terror attack in Tel Aviv: The two gunmen now automatically qualify for monthly salaries from the Palestinian Authority.
That right is enshrined in Article 22.2 of the PA constitution, the Basic Law of Palestine. The terrorists opened fire at a popular open-air market, killing four innocents and wounding five others. It was the latest of some 300 attacks these last nine months, which include stabbings, bombings, motor vehicle assaults and other mayhem. The slaughters claimed 30 Israeli lives (including some Arab ones), and two Americans. And all the surviving attackers collect PA checks, as do the families of what the PA calls the martyrs who die during their assaults. One UN funded PA charity even did a tree planting ceremony to honor some of the terrorists. As the nonprofit Palestinian Media Watch points out, the PAs official news outlets are terming the latest atrocity the Tel Aviv Operation, while the Facebook page of the ruling Fatah party blames Israel for inspiring the attacks. It was asked way above whether the FBI was pursuing the public corruption angle. I believe it was, I seem to recall confirmation of this a ways back. ------------------- FBI's Clinton probe expands to public corruption track >>EXCLUSIVE: The FBI investigation into Hillary Clinton's use of private email as secretary of state has expanded to look at whether the possible "intersection" of Clinton Foundation work and State Department business may have violated public corruption laws, three intelligence sources not authorized to speak on the record told Fox News. >>This new investigative track is in addition to the focus on classified material found on Clinton's personal server. >>"The agents are investigating the possible intersection of Clinton Foundation donations, the dispensation of State Department contracts and whether regular processes were followed," one source said. http://tinyurl.com/hurhkxm Posted by: iforgot at June 10, 2016 12:39 PM (pC96u) 256

Point taken. However, while Trump might increase the number of votes he gets in New York by spending resources that could be used more effectively somewhere else, he will never get more votes than Hillary Clinton or whatever candidate has a D after his or her name and so the electoral votes of New York will go to the Democrat just as if Donald Trump had spent no resources in New York.

So, by those measures, it's the most successful campaign ever and the most successful thing Trump has ever done. He's gotten over 18 months of free, 24/7 press on every TV & radio station and blog in existence and will come out of this with more leverage and ins with politicians and associated scum than he's ever had in his life. His net worth will skyrocket in the next 4 years. As chique says: this is an election between Clinton and her donor. Oh sure. He and Hillary will throw barbs at each other. Just like him and Megyn Kelly. Rivalries are GREAT for ratings. Just ask the WWE... and org that Trump has personal experience with. It was the same with Rosie ODonnell.
