Quitting Time: It's Time to Start Destroying Our Rotten Progressive-Dominated Institutions By General Strikes and Ruthless Abandonment

FaceBook characterizes Patricia Heaton's endorsement of an organization that does nothing but care for unwanted children as "anti-abortion."

Blow Up Your FaceBook Account. Quit With Extreme Prejudice.

It's time to rattle ten million sabers and begin destroying rotten institutions one by one. Make them fear us.

Brave men and women do not continue along in their passive acceptance of a meritless enterprise. Brave men and women resign.

They don't just stay on board merely because a bad habit has become a habit.

Take control of your lives by ending your dependency on progressive institutions and time-wasting media indulgences.

I'm a proud Twitter Quitter and my life has improved since I cut the progressive IV drip.

What do I always hear about why people stay on FaceBook? "Oh, it's a way to keep in touch with my friends."

Hey, remember the old days when keeping in touch with your friends meant actually keeping in touch with your friends -- getting together, having a phone chat, even going old school and dropping a letter?

In what sense is it "keeping in touch" with people when your "keeping in touch" is automated and consists of looking at someone's wall for two seconds?

And hey -- if there are people in your life so ancillary to your existence that "keeping in touch" consists of publishing "news items" about yourself every few days, maybe they're not really you "friends" at all, but very shallow zombie relationships you're maintaining the fiction of in order to feel a social connectedness, the real version of which you're denying yourselves by pretending at it on FaceBook.

Destroy FaceBook. Destroy Twitter. Destroy ABC/Disney/Marvel/ESPN. Destroy NBC.

You can't do a damn thing about the progressives in government who have the legal authority to fuck with your lives.

And yet, so many of us are voluntarily remaining cogs in institutions designed to harm us.

Give up your Dual Citizenship in nasty, alien countries like FaceBook run by progressive c*nts.

Rejoin actual life. Give up your progressive-made media chains. You have nothing to fear from your own freedom.

31 So I was just wondering, looking at that sidebar about Bob Bennet and the Muslim thing.

Who, actually, treats women better? The left or the Muslims? And the answer, I think, is that while some Muslims are worse than the left (See ISIS, et. al) it nevertheless remains true that a Muslim can be very moral and upstanding and a good person. In fact, probably the majority of Muslims worldwide are decent folks. Just cowards who don't do anything about the non-decent Muslims.

Can a modern day leftist be that way? I don't know. Facebook, Twitter, et. al seem to demonstrate that no, today's left is evil to the core. All the old "decent" Democrats are finding out there is no room left for them in a Bernie Sanders world.

Destroy FaceBook. Destroy Twitter. Destroy ABC/Disney/Marvel/ESPN. Destroy NBC.

Boycotts won't accomplish destruction. All these entities are intertwined with a common agenda: to shape people's thinking.

The only way to destroy them is to offer viable competition. You cannot expect the Conservative agenda to advance or even survive if it is not actively pushed. Conversely, you cannot expect the Left's agenda to fail if there exists no pushback, (passive pushback is not enough, i.e., boycotts, embargoes).

59 I was thinking of going on Facebook to trumpet that big National Academy of Sciences study that finds no harmful effects from genetically modified organisms and leading pesticides. Throw it in the faces of all the I F^&*ing Love Science like/share crowd in my acquaintances.

I was going to enjoy it when all these self-appointed defenders of science tell me (a scientist) that the study is wrong; I was going to play Joe Welch and ask if they have, at long last, no decency left when they suggest these august scientists' findings are being tweaked for the benefit of corporate interests.

But I have work to do, and when I'm goofing off I prefer to spend the time at my favorite blogs. So I will let my Facebook membership limp along, dormant enough to get auto-generated guilt trips about how I haven't been on in awhile.

A great piece for Ace that I was reading this morning...

HISTORICAL REFLECTIONS

Preserving Hybrid Objects

http://bit.ly/1XCvhri

this will blow your mind

If you're not a member, you get only a portion of the piece.

But, inside, the author rips her up:

I do not find McPherson's 'post hoc
ergo propter hoc' position persuasive.
Her essay is underdeveloped, and fails
to consider many other explanations
for the single technical feature of UNIX
onto which she latches. As it stands, she
offers no more reason to believe UNIX
is racist, than it is sexist, and while either
or both of these claims may have
merit,
she does nowhere near enough
to convince, but more than enough to
provoke. She seems content to note
'parallels,' some of which appear contrived,
without demonstrating linkage
or causal connection. One of the issues
is certainly that different disciplines
see the world in different ways, and
this extends to include notions of what
counts as an argument, or a 'proof'.

and it goes on and on as he transitions into another sub topic.

It's not hard to reach me. Email, text, phone, stop by. Don't bother sending a letter as ace suggested though, I rarely yo never check my mail.

If someone's friendship with me is dependent on me posting generic, copy and pasted crap and pictures on a platform intended for skimming and group audiences, then they're really not interested in me at all. If my friendship with them is contingent on me "liking" or commenting on whatever generic crap they copy and paste so that all their other "friends" can see how popular they are as quantified by mindless clicking, then they're really not interested in my opinion anyhow.

Someone once told me that if you have one true friend in your entire life, you're one of the luckiest people on earth. Truer words were never spoken.

Go ahead, keep up with your click drone popularity contests and believing that it has true, deep meaning and is the foundation of a lifelong relationship. When liberals are in charge of something, they sell it as a contemporary sine qua non and the avant-garde thing to have. The create a buzz, and ultimately falsely sell as a necessity.

It then, predictably, is corrupted by the lack of moral values, sense of self-importance, dismissive attitude, thirst for autocracy, desire for propaganda value and disdain for democratic processes or intellectual conclusions that are the hallmark of liberals.

I was never on Twits.

However, the only Disney and NBC products I use, I relish in stealing them. Free for me, they get no money in any form from me. Even on my ROKU, I consciously avoid them.

Watched a few innings of the Cardinals/Rockies game yesterday, and they were talking about defense for some reason. I think it had to do with a baseball that almost landed in the booth, and they said Ozzie Smith, after he retired and did games briefly said he wasn't going to try to catch anything anymore, because he retired. All joking of course, but it led to further discussion.

Rick Ankiel, the former pitcher, who turned into an outfielder because he lost his ability, mentally, to throw from the mound. They discussed two plays he made from center field, throwing guys out at third, and then seconds later, they showed the video of both throws. Breathtaking.

A moment or two later, Nolan Arenado, flashy third baseman for Colorado made a diving stop on a hard hit ball, threw from his knees, double-play! As a Cardinals fan, you have to appreciate excellence on the other side.

Still moments later, a Cardinal hit a ball to center field, Matt Holliday, of all people, is standing on second, and goes gallumping into third on a tag-up. The Rockies outfielder didn't even come close to throwing him out.

I appreciate the game, and especially that stuff, much more so than mashing, roided up home run hitters. I wish I had more time to watch it.

One single camping trip with my buddy and his family saved their marriage, formed unbelievable new bonds between all the kids and adults, and made for decades of stories and memories and started a whole new trend of more camping trips, family time, and memories.

That trip was probably 10 years ago. I moved and was out of touch for some time but stopped by the house years later. It took about 2 minutes for the raccoon stories and jokes to start up again.

FB is a good and deserving choice for a boycott on the merits. Into the bargain, as someone pointed out earlier (forget who or I'd cite it) the exponential nature of the value of social networks tends to amplify the effects of user exit.

Every center-right presence on the web should be sporting a Delete-My-Facebook banner on their home page along with screen caps of the page-not-found the results from it.

But I will say that I'm blessed by having good old-fashioned American friends on my FB. When I see someone going batshit leftist, I unfriend them. Simple.

People are addicted to their cellphones too. Even that I stay away from. I get yelled at by my family because it's always off, not set up for international, no data downloading (I only pay for the basic local service w/limited text ability). It's ONLY for emergencies, like if my car breaks down one day. That's it. It sits in my purse, powered off 24/7.

I'm watching the world watching their phones.

263 BINGO. I and others have said this - the solutions to the nation's ills are not to be found in voting booths. The right's utter abandonment of the culture war is why we are where we are at, grasping at any straw that we even think may fight for us. I'm not even a Bible-banger and I think it's obvious.

YOU must work to make that change occur in your own life, and sometimes that means saying "fuck you".

If you are fat and happy looking at cat pictures on Facebook all day, then you may have an issue with cutting the cord. You haven't quit smoking until the pack is in the trash and out on the curb, not just because you keep it in the drawer. Don't just not use it, get rid of it.

285 goon and artisanal and others re Amazon:

Amazon is definitely a hugely mixed bag. I don't trust Jeff Bezos either... OTOH, the store itself seems to do a good job giving ALL authors, conservative, liberal and otherwise, a fair shake.

Example: Check out the reviews for Larry Correia's new novel. You'd think the SJWs would be torpedoing it; but apparently Amazon's keeping an eye on that, as it has a 4.5 star rating.

And, I love that Amazon has blown up book publishing as well. In the past conservatives had to deal with a ridonkulously incestuous nest of liberal self-strokers to get published, or start up their own houses (Regnery); Amazon removes a LOT of that BS and allows new conservative voices to publish their books *and* take them directly to the marketplace. At least, that's what I've seen so far; I don't know of a single conservative book that Amazon has rejected for being "too hateful" or whatever.

Facebook isn't a culture, it's a product that so desperately wants to manipulate culture. "YOU" turn it into a culture, and can easily rid yourself of it. I advise my police officers clients to get rid of it, because anything they say can and will be used against them, and not just in court. It's more of a burden than a benefit - it;s a liability.

Like I said, you can try to turn that platform to your advantage, but if the Facebook Gods don't like your line of thought, they "disappear you". Unlike real life, it's not a level playing field. So how can you fight a "culture" that's "owners" can delete you from it? They can't do that in real life (yet) unless they grab you off the street with masked crew and a van.

343 goon and artisanal and others re Amazon:

Amazon is definitely a hugely mixed bag. I don't trust Jeff Bezos
either... OTOH, the store itself seems to do a good job giving ALL
authors, conservative, liberal and otherwise, a fair shake.

Example: Check out the reviews for Larry Correia's new novel. You'd
think the SJWs would be torpedoing it; but apparently Amazon's keeping
an eye on that, as it has a 4.5 star rating.

And, I love that Amazon has blown up book publishing as well. In the
past conservatives had to deal with a ridonkulously incestuous nest of
liberal self-strokers to get published, or start up their own houses
(Regnery); Amazon removes a LOT of that BS and allows new conservative
voices to publish their books *and* take them directly to the
marketplace. At least, that's what I've seen so far; I don't know of a
single conservative book that Amazon has rejected for being "too
hateful" or whatever.

Posted by: qdpsteve at May 19, 2016 01:56 PM (ntObR)

I get a ton of music off of Amazon. Stuff I never would have heard of otherwise. I never listen to the radio, and couldn't pick more than a half dozen pop stars out of a police lineup.

But I buy, usually half a dozen or so cd's per month... yes, cd's.

Using whatever algorithm they do to match my buying habits with new stuff, Amazon keeps them coming.

365 >>none of us were on "connected social media" ten years ago and now we cannot live without it?!?!

Yes. This isn't outrageous. Your position is actually the one that takes ideology to the level of the High Sparrow in Game Of Thrones and just seems benighted. NEWSFLASH: we didn't have the internet at all twenty years ago and now we can't live without it. We didn't have easy deregulated air-travel 40 years ago. Cars 90 years ago. Electricity, running water, etc. Can't live without them, won't live without them. A slide downwards for human civilization? Maybe so! But it's the slide we''re on.

Social media is merely another major-stage technological advance--every bit as important and seismic as the internet, or the steam engine, etc.--and while it's brought innumerable ills and may actually be the downfall of civilization, your call for rejectionism of it is folly and destined to fail. You will never become closer to people by doing it. All that will happen is that *those people will move away from you*...because you're not on social media.

Is that a travesty? A shame? I think so. But I also know that ice ages are a travesty. The fall of the Roman Empire was a travesty. You can no more affect this than you could those. You are a leaf on the wind. You are not the wind itself.

Not unless you participate it and try to alter the course of the wind.

372 The thing I think some folks are missing about this idea is that it isn't about erecting a parallel culture for conservatives. That's stupid. This is about enforcing neutrality in the culture war by making an example of one company.

If FB lost, say 250,000, users in a single day that's probably something like $1 million loss on the day because the value of their social network is exponential to the number of its users. Companies like FB choose sides in the culture war because it has been cost-free to side with the left. Right now right-leaning FB users are just cheap dates who can be mollified so long as they can get their fix of cat GIFs. But if we bail en masse the message is clear: pissing us off is costly. And the message is received by more than just FB.

I don't want an explicitly rightwing social media platform. I just want one that doesn't go about mashing its Orwellian thumb on the scale of public debate. The way to make that point is exercise the right-of-exit.

378 In fairness to Joe, and also McCarver, who was mentioned above, blame Fox Sports for their awfulness.

I dunno, McCarver was awful in the 80s before Fox even had a channel or did any sports. He just has bad judgment and no shame about sharing it. "That defense is all wrong, what is the manger thinking?"

*hitter immediately lines into a double play because of the defense*

Over and over it happened. I will admit, though, that McCarver is a lot better lately doing Cards games.

380 "I think a lot of you don't understand how facebook deletes or hides

Zuckerberg, after his infamous conversation with Merkel in which he promised he would "help" her enable the rapefugee invasion of Germany, contracted with an outside keyword screening firm for that purpose.

All posts on German Facebook are now run through an automated filter which looks for particular words and phrases relating to the rapefugee situation, and algorithmically deletes anything deemed likely to be "inflammatory".

It's like carrying a gun. Better to have one and not need it than need it and not have it. There so much work around here it's hard to find someone good who isn't busy.

394 The irony is of course that I, personally, am a Rejectionist on almost all of these things. I don't use Facebook. I tweet, but I use it as a means to an end personally and professionally. I spend most of my time working, reading, and hanging out with my wife and my friends, or working out. I watch baseball on the internet and teach myself dead languages. I SHOULD be Ace's target audience.

But I'm also not an intellectual feeb. I understand mass movements, technological change, the course of history, and long-range alterations in the human condition. This post would be more suitable as a Rod Dreher like cri-de-coeur of PRIVATE rejectionism ("the Benedict option") and less futile as some sort of exhortation to create a mass movement. You cannot move the masses. That's why they're called MASSES. They are inert. No private minority of 2,000 holdouts will alter anything in the grand scale of things -- and for the majority of those holdouts, who lack the peculiarly solitary mindset necessary to survive such a neo-monastic lifestyle, will actively worsen their quality of modern life.

Me, I'll go take a walk and enjoy some nice music, or teach myself a musical instrument. But I'm an outlier of humanity now. Humanity is changing. It won't be changing back anytime soon.

Christians have had to deal with this all our existence. Do you go to the market and buy that meat that someone first offered to Jupiter? Is that a sin? How can I justify spending money at a shop that enriches someone who hates me and all I believe in?

In the end, you have to make your own choices, but there's no way to avoid sin in the world. Even if everyone else was perfect, you bring your sin into the room and ruin it all. You'll never find the ideologically pure business you wish for. Even if they're conservative, they'll disagree with you on something and then all bets are off, HERETIC!!1!!!1!

You use what tools you have at hand, and live in the world we have, and do your best to be salt and light and bring truth around you, despite their best efforts.

Sometimes you have to make a choice: I did with Twitter. Most of the time, though, you sigh, say a little prayer, and then move ahead.

Social media is merely another major-stage technological advance--every bit as important and seismic as the internet, or the steam engine, etc...
****

Name one way anything has been improved or made possible by social media.

As you say, there are lots of things that happen in history and change the course of history. Some of them are constructive (Declaration of Indepenence, the Constitution, industrial revolution, finding a use for oil, invention of the automobile, powered flight...) Some are destructive (ascent of Communism, advance of socialism...) Some are both (invention of the atomic bomb).

Just because something happens or comes into being that is society altering does not make it a good thing. There are countless examples of civilization being set back for years or generations by the advent or invention of something. Social media in once of these things. I agree, it has turned into a seismic change point... but none of it is for the better.

436 Ace links to The Twilight of the Neocons in the sidebar. It is a
piece over at PJMedia discussing the "Renegade Jew" article by David
Horowitz writing at Breitbart a few days ago. Although Horowitz didn't
use the word "renegade" in his article, he did discuss both his and
Kristol's Jewishness, as well as issues revolving around Israel. The
piece largely takes Horowitz's side, but describes the use of "Renegade
Jew" in the headline as churlish.

Anyway, Breitbart did use the
phrase "Renegade Jew" in its headline, referring to Kristol. And much
hand-wringing has occurred regarding antisemitism. What most of the
commentary has neglected to mention is that there is another reason to
refer to Kristol as a "renegade". He is a #neverTrump leader and he has
been searching for someone to be his candidate in a third party to take
on Trump in the presidential election. The name of this third party? The
Renegade Party.

So, Breitbart put together Horowitz's discussion of the implications for Israel with the presidential election, and added in the Kristol's 3rd party Renegade name as a descriptor.

Maybe it's what is sometimes referred to as "too clever by half" but it certainly isn't antisemitic.

Downloading is definitely illegal, but it's a great way to get movies/tv/music. If you use a free program like like peer guardian, or a VPN, you can avoid a strongly worded letter from your ISP.

I know I've posted this before, but all of my TVs have a cheap Android TV box ($25-$50 on eGhey). Using a program (already installed) like TVMC or KODI, will let you stream just about every movie and tv show in existence. There are even live TV and free PPV channels ( I watched Canello/Kahn fight for free).
From my research, this streaming is legal, because the illegality is on the party that posts the stream, not the person who clicks on it.
All you need is an Internet connection, and you can watch whatever you want, without paying money to 'The Man'. Sometimes it's a pain to find the right 'channel' for what you want, but it's free. Check videos online to see what I mean. Best invention ever. Eff the cable companies.

Posted by: crankytrex
----

Posted by: SaltyDonnie at May 19, 2016 02:01 PM (i6shs)

I could easily rid myself of it. I don't use FB that much now as it is, but the fact is the genie is out of the bottle on social media.

It's not a mere product anymore. It's a self-sustaining organism fueled people's desire to make a connection with other people, even if that connection is as shallow and tenuous as a Like on a post about nothing. That in turn created a culture, a worldwide conversation that conservatives are simply not going to be a part of if they take their ball and go home.

yes jeff, social media is "important."

Addict? I tweet less these days than you post on this blog, and that's saying something.

Also, this blog is the living definition of "'social media."

I think social media is a pox. I have said so, at loud volume, with consistent frequency. I think it represents the demoticizing of western civilization, as well a Neil Postmanesque dystopia. So you don't have to argue with me about that. What I argue with you about is:

1) The confused nature of your argument -- is social media something that should be dropped because it's prejudiced against the Right, or because it's just bad in and of itself? You conflate the two arguments when you call for dropping out, particularly with the posting of that Godfather clip.

2) Your idea that this is anything more than a personal choice that will isolate you ever more and more from all human contact in the future of mankind, rather than "reconnecting" you to your humanity.

Unless you define your humanity on a quasi-solitaristic level (and I think you DO, and I KNOW that I do as well), this is all going the wrong way. The future of human interaction is going the wrong way. Any "drop-out" either now or in the future is going to be a private choice made as an opt-out from society. Which is fine, because I dont much give a rip about society. But acknowledge it for what it is, with clear eyes. None of this "let's get back to the utopia of our youths!" folderol. There is no going back. Ever.

I recognize the emotional place where this post comes from, particularly because it's one that I agree with. I just don't think it's a very intellectually coherent argument.

I learned of a "friend" whose husband died, on facebook. No, we weren't really friends, and if I had not been on facebook, it might have been weeks before I found out.

Instead, I was at the funeral. And it mattered. To her.

As I said way above, I have army buddies I thought I would never hear from again. Some of them, I wasn't sure if they were alive or dead. I used to scan the casualty lists for their names.

Facebook put me back in contact with them. No, we're not regularly communicating. We don't need to. We had a bond, and it was made so strongly, it still exists years after we had any real need to speak with each other.

516 Hey, remember the old days when keeping in touch with your friends meant actually keeping in touch with your friends -- getting together, having a phone chat, even going old school and dropping a letter?

In what sense is it "keeping in touch" with people when your "keeping in touch" is automated and consists of looking at someone's wall for two seconds?

****

Because I actually do converse with my friends regularly on Facebook. We've created our own special groups, and post articles in them, to discuss amongst ourselves, or talk about our lives on there, and / or use the messenger app to talk to one another directly. It's an easy and convenient way to keep in touch with them on a DAILY basis.

Or, I guess I could go your way, Ace, and dial them up each individually on a fucking rotary phone.

519 Look, I appreciate the sentiment. I've said for a long time that the bigger threat to this country comes from the media since people often consume their products without knowing it, without questioning their bias, or even realizing their bias. Facebook is basically saying, "I'll see your media bias, and I'll raise you active supression of conservative viewpoints and re-packaging of conservative views with a liberal spin"

But even IF you assume that 40% of Americans are still "conservative", that every single one of them was already on Facebook, and every single one dumps them, we're talking about 80 million people at most out of a user base of 1.65 BILLION. They literally would not even notice.

Beyond which, other people have already made the argument that ceding this ground to liberals is surrender. Think about the media. I don't watch any mainstream news. The only thing I get dragged into once in a while is CBS Sunday Morning, and it's all I can do to not shriek in rage at the pervasiveness of their liberal bias, not to mention their utter incompetence at basic journalism.

The media is at an all time low in viewership and trustworthiness. And what has that accomplished ? People generally don't trust them and have some sense that they lean left. All that's done is give them the go ahead to just be more blatant about it.

The same applies to Facebook. If nobody is challenging them on their BS, they'll just take that as tacit agreement that we all like it that way. I don't get my news from Facebook anyhow.

Besides, I don't give a hoot what you or anyone else thinks is "gay ballz". I seriously could not give a shit. I'm sure there is plenty of stuff every single "OMG I've never been ON Facebook" person in these comments does that I think gay ballz. Whatever.

I mean, where does it stop, exactly ? Google is about as pervasive as it gets. The extent to which their tentacles are intertwined with every aspect of the online world is probably only surpassed by their liberal douchebaggery. Am I supposed to stop using Chrome and searching with Google ? You can make that argument if you want but your argument will be unpersuasive in the extreme.

The media must be stopped, and douchebag liberal organizations like Google and Facebook along with them, but feckless, surrendering boycotts are not going to achieve shit. All but the most hardcore among us need to be INFLUENCED. That doesn't happen by shutting out the rest of the world.

Possibly the only thing worse than inaction is action taken that satisfies a need to "do something" but actually accomplishes nothing. Boycotts fully qualify.

550 @528

The point is not to withdraw or quit. It is to demonstrate in a memorable way that it is in their corporate interest to remain neutral in the culture war. And the point is to let other corporations that provide news or entertainment see it happen. The idea is to impose a cost for choosing sides.

It is about denying the other side the space to maneuver unchallenged. Right now, corporations like FB do their bidding either from ideological agreement or because, more commonly, the left demands public fealty or exacts a price for dissent. Ace's suggestion is to improve the overall environment by the simple and direct expedient of inflicting a cost on FB for their violation of neutrality.

It's not about enforcing some kind of doctrinal purity. I don't care what FB thinks (in truth, I don't even have an account). It's their thing and they can do whatever they want with it. But I do think it is worthwhile, for conservatives to stop being such cheap dates. If FB wants our eyeballs and clicks make them act like it (and others will notice).

Because the "value of a telecommunications network is proportional to the square of the number of connected users of the system" the loss of users amplifies the effect of a mass cancellation.

See Metcalf's Law:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Metcalfe's_law

This makes it a bit different from a boycott of physical products and more likely to succeed. Keep in mind, corporations are very skittish about this stuff which is one reason they jump into line everytime some SJW crusader looks at them askance.

The key difference is that SJW-types use their control of sympathetic media and corporations to amplify their small voice. In this case, Ace is proposing the use of network effects to amplify the voice of a much larger group: us.

554 BTW, if you truly need a FB-like thing in your life @533 is a good alternative. If that's too hands-on switch to Google+ or Ello (https://ello.co/).

Yes, yes, the Goog is every bit as annoying a FB and Ello probably would be too if it were bigger. We are not trying to create a doctrinally pure, truecon social network. The point is to exact a penalty for violations of neutrality in the culture wars.

the square of the number of connected users of the system" the loss of
users amplifies the effect of a mass cancellation.

Case in point: does anyone use MySpace anymore? They didn't do anything offensive other than become obsolete. Facebook is basically a big cloud of user provided data. If we stop feeding them data, they will go the way of MySpace.

I have to say, they make it almost impossible to delete your page.
There are a lot of sneaky ways that they pull you back in.
You have to make sure that you do not inadvertantly sign in to facebook.
They try to lure you bak when you comment on any other page, and once you are logged back in, you have to start the deletion all over again.
Also, I must say that I actually feel better without an fb page.
I have a ton of time on my hands to do other things.
Facebook is designed to help you become a massive time waster.
I am so glad it is finally gone.
I urge all of you to dump facebook.
There are tons of other sites for just staying in touch with friends, as well as telephones.
We need to get back to face to face relationships, and step away from this keyboard friendships.
