There were a lot of women whose testimony about Bill suggested he didn't hear "no" very often (whether it was spoken or not). Most of them sued over sexual harassment because they managed to otherwise escape, but it seems pretty likely someone didn't.

Oh no he didn't! Redux.
The NYT gave Trump the opening with their recent hit piece. There have many posts here over recent months that pushed the memes that: 1) Trump was actually running to help the Clintons 2) Trump would put people on SCOTUS who would gut the 2nd Amendment and all our other civil liberties, and hence was anathema to all true conservatives 3) Trump and Hillary were but two sides of the same coin, both liberal Democrats, without a dime's worth of difference between them Cruz and Fiorina pushed #2 and #3 right to the bitter end. For the record, you were all wrong, wrong and wrong. I'd take the bet that Trump set-up the NYT. Old girl friend calls Donald to tell him that the NYT was reaching out to her. Donald's response: "OK dear, here's what you're going to tell them. Then the day after the story hits here's what you're going to tell FOX." I used to worry that MSM would try to ignore Trump more than I worried about they're being biased. I'm getting less worried. You see MSM needs raw red meat every day and Trump will give it to them. Hillary can't even go on with Stephanopolous without risk. When she opens her mouth she says something stupid or gives Trump an opening to throat punch her. So she'll be in comparative hiding and overly reliant on surrogates. Bill is now worse than useless. Forget Chelsea. How many times can you interview Carville. So it'll be wall to wall Trump. I thunk it is well known around these parts that I am not a Trump fan.
But from what I have heard of the nyt article about Trump's alleged misogyny, the whole thing is a nothingburger. So a model goes to a Billionaire's mansion for a pool party which is filled with many models outnumbering the men, and she is asked to put on a bathing suit, which she does. Then the billionaire parades her around his party showing her off and complimenting her. And we're supposed to be outraged by this. Because I'm sure the model chick was expecting to be wearing a turtleneck and long trousers at this party. As if she wasn't highly flattered. There are so many things that they could use to go after Trump, but because they live in a world of microaggressions and ubiquitous victimhood comment they can't tell a non-story from an outrage. I may not like Trump, but I hope he beats Hillary and the media into the ground. At this point I'm thinking he could actually win this thing. The issue is it shows nowhere except on Fox and conservative blogs. You don't hear this anywhere on the MSM. So how does this reach the near 70 million people who are expected to Vote D come November 8?
The story ran back in early January when trump started it. However, that was in connection with the primaries. I think you will note that when you google the news search results tomorrow, other than noted above, there will be no mention of it. There is no ground game to roll out this stuff in the coming months Glenn Reynolds was so very right when he told all the wealthy republicans to stop donating money to the GOP and candidates and instead start buying up MSM properties. MESQUITE (CBSDFW.COM) A Forney woman says a Ross department store in Mesquite let a man into the women's dressing room Monday. "I was in the dressing room, when we heard a man's voice," said Lisa Stickles, who says she quickly told a manager. "She went inside the dressing room, came right back out and called me to the side and told me...he was representing himself as a woman today," Stickles said. A customer service representative with Ross would not comment on the alleged incident but said they do not discriminate against the transgender community; adding, customers may use changing rooms that apply to their gender identity. http://goo.gl/9xI2o9 ============ Insane... "Shooting Star is just fucking awful."
I have to play it sometimes at gigs, not my favorite. My drummer always hollers "Oh No!" when the 'died in bed line' comes. The song was written for Paul Kossoff, guitarist for the band free. He OD'ed. His father spent years going to schools and telling the story, trying to keep kids off drugs. He would play some of Paul's songs at these appearances, and always played Shooting Star. The Firm's singer is Paul Rodgers, whom Ace called "deeply mediocre" or something like that a while back. I'm still a little steamed about that. I think he did a good job fronting Bad Company, Live, and The Firm. He's a very good singer. Good vocal control and pitch with a decent soulful quality. He may not be as good a saxophonist or rapist as Bill Clinton, but I don't see how he's a mediocre singer.
i wasn't really rating him as a singer. i was rating Bad Company's output/song quality, which was deeply mediocre. It was a Foreigner-type band. You cannot win by fighting on the defensive all the time. You have to show your opponent that you can hurt them, hurt them badly. To many GOP consultants and TV types are always obsessing on countering Democrat narratives.
Trump on the other hand will counter Democrat attacks by counter attacking and putting the Dems on their heels. Calling Bill a rapist, and making his witch queen wife look like an accomplice is a good move. It creates the narrative. Attack, and let the Democrats do the defending... At the very least Trump will hopefully teach "conservatives" how to be the aggressors again. Posted by: William Eaton at May 18, 2016 07:28 PM (KhJh8) 331
