But I believe they should have said that they'd delay the delay of the request until after the election. Of course after the election the entire thing will probably be moot anyway.

page with the red text when trying to copy/paste stuff. Turns out it's the quotation marks. I just replaced them right in the box and it went through. Could be other characters from time to time but you can check that with the error code on the bottom line of the page.
Ok, now everybody point and laugh because I didn't already know this, but hopefully this helps someone else out there as prolific and lazy as I am.

OK, it's just two knucklehead callers on drive-time talk radio. I know. I get that. But I've heard these obviously contradictory sentiments from Trump supporters since at least January. What's hilarious to me is the seeming total lack of awareness of this contradiction.
See, if what you want is for someone to make yuge, luxurious deals with Democrats then what were Johnny McMaverick and Flip Rmoney not acceptable to you? Because they were too GOPe? So it's OK to go along with making deals with Democrats as long as the hack making the deals is not coming from "The Republican Establishment, LLC"? Well the problem with that is you're not only not sticking a thumb in the eye of the GOPe, you're giving them a fabulous new face. The Chamber of Commerce, K-Street GOP Ops, Ryan, Mitch, and the rest of the deal makers are going to make out just fine, thank you very much, under a Trump Regime.
OK, maybe some deckchairs will get rearranged. But in the end all the Democrat/Republican cabal will have is a new Billy Mays to pitch their brand of managed big government. In a way I'm grateful for this - we will no longer have to worry about having the GOP lie to our faces every 2-4 years about they being the party of limited, Constitutional government. Not if The Witch wins, and not if The Donald wins.
You're also handing the GOPe the benefit of neutering the intellectual opposition to big government expansion. The Heritage Foundation will have no place at the table under a Clinton OR Trump administration - not if The Donald is going to be making fantastic, world-class deals with the Democrats, that is.
Just a couple of thoughts for people who are struggling to understand #NeverTrump, at least from folks like me.
I'm not interested in making deals with Democrats - otherwise I would have voted for McVain and Rmoney. I'm not interested in a more efficient and competently managed big government - otherwise I would have supported Katshit. So thank you, Trumpers, for once and for all ending the GOPe charade and for validating my decision to dump my R registration in May 2011.
Now I can just swim out past the breakers and watch the world die in relative peace.

I am a real fan of old glazer safety slugs, b/c BACK then the performance difference was more like 10-15% given the inability of many semi-autos to reliably feed hollowpoints.

That being said. That particular argument is really the last intellectual argument you can make. You generate very little good will if that's what you use to persuade someone, and you know this (how enthusiastic were you in supporting McCain or Romney?). So if your goal is to effectively unite the party, it's in your best interests to avoid that particular argument until you've exhausted all other options. If your goal is just to stick it to the other guy as payback, by all means, ignore this.

.There are a few guys on Youtube that do actual ammo tests for various calibers. One is called TN Outdoors 9 and he has a very large bunch of videos on various calibers that he tests to FBI specs. He seems to have had some good luck with a few different JHP's in 380.
I personally love the Hornady XTP in both 380 and 9mm myself. Never had a single issue with either in literally thousands of rounds.

I've taken a quick look at the internals of the CNN/ORC poll that was just released, and there are some interesting trends.
First of all, to address JWest's concerns, the poll is nationwide telephone poll of 1,001 adults. The only screening or adjustments made are filtering for registered voters (and including those who plan to register), resulting in a sample of 890. The party affiliation difference is 31% Democrat, 26% Republican, and 43% Independents. I will concede that this does match the last election of D+6. However, they did not adjust their numbers, this is what they found in their sample.
Some interesting items from the subsets:
1) Both Trump and Clinton have solid support within their parties and those who lean toward a party. Trump has 83% and Clinton 91%. NeverTrump is not a determining factor in this poll.
2) Men split 47/47 between them. Clinton wins women 61/35, Trump wins whites 52/43, and Clinton wins non-white 81/14. That non-white vote is where Trump must improve his numbers to win, since he is already winning the white vote comfortably.
3) On the issues, the top issues for the respondents are the economy (88%), terrorism (81%), health care (81%), and education (82%). Fifth on the list is income inequality (60%). Way down the list are Hillary's issues of women, guns, and climate change. These are all issues that should be in Trump's wheelhouse. Yet he is losing by 13 in the poll.
4) When asked if their votes are based on support for a candidate or against the other you can see core upside support. 48% of Clinton voters are voting for Clinton, while 51% are voting against Trump. 43% of Trump voters are voting for Trump, while 57% are voting against Clinton. The opportunities for each candidate are for Clinton to drive up the "against Trump" vote and Trump to improve the "for Trump" vote.
5) Finally when looking at income/education metric you see the following. Under 50K income Clinton wins 60/36. Over 50K Clinton wins 50/45. College grads go for Clinton 59/36, while non college grads also go to Clinton 52/43.

Yeah it's the best round, but in terms of having something you can put a lot of in a magazine for a semi, cheap enough to practice with for your average bear (caliber, not the fact that it's hollowpoint) and that's "for everyone" I'll take the WW2 soviet side of the equation vs the german side: give me the cheap, easy, plentiful ammo vs expensive in terms of both money and time.

has come out. A co-worker will be doing most, if not all, of my on-air
slots, and I'll be working the camera/rig. This is not unusual, we're a

A couple of my daughters liked sports and were good -- but gave it up because it was almost some kind of lesbian signal, although they didn't care if someone wanted to go that direction. They just got tired of it. ROTC was another. They just did not want to deal with the perception, misunderstandings, and drama.

I had a mama hummingbird build a nest in a pine tree in the yard at my Arizona place. And two tiny babies. I took some pictures. But sadly, a feral cat got them; nest and babies gone. Don't know about mama hummer. I remember thinking to myself, "gee, that nest is awfully low down, what was she thinking?"

The Left ruins everything.
Cinco de Mayo was a Mexican-AMERICAN holiday, designed to be like St. Patrick's Day. It wasn't just a day to celebrate chicano heritage; it was above all supposed to be --- and actually WAS for a while --- a fun time for ALL Americans and, yeah, a profitable moment for Corona and Taco Bell. Whatever.
They picked the date for two reasons. One is precisely because Mexico doesn't "give a rat" about it. It was to be an American, NOT a Mexican thing. The other is that in the Battle of Puebla the USA was aiding the Mexicans against the French.
I can remember when people in Bumsquat, WV had Cinco parties, just the way they might have St. Patrick's Day ones --- and this without having a drop of Mexican or Irish blood in their veins. All-American fun.
But of course the fun was short-lived. The Left politicized it, made it just one more marker in their on-going hate-fest against the USA. So now Americans either hate it, fear it, or don't know what to think.

Looking at senators, and looking towards the bottom of the list for the youth portion, I see Cotton, Gardner, Sasse, Lee, Cruz, Rubio, Ernst, and Ayotte. Notable for youth alone, mind you. Tim Scott, Rand Paul, Tillis, and Toomey round out the short list, in my opinion. Other than Sessions, Pat Roberts, Jim Inhofe, and McCain himself, who am I missing with any kind of name recognition?
Looks like he'll be looking at the House, in my opinion.
The real question is will it be his choice or does he let the RNC dictate? I really doubt he goes with the latter.
