Anti-Trump Protesters Get Violent In California Because Of Course They Do

The media frets and worries about the Bundy standoff, yet never seems to notice the unending violence from the left.

They have successfully normalized this behavior -- on the left only.

ndreds of demonstrators filled the street outside the Orange County amphitheater where Donald Trump held a rally Thursday night, stomping on cars, hurling rocks at motorists and forcefully declaring their opposition to the Republican presidential candidate.

Traffic came to a halt as a boisterous crowd walked in the roadway, some waving American and Mexican flags. Protesters smashed a window on at least one police cruiser, punctured the tires of a police sport utility vehicle, and at one point tried to flip a police car.

Boisterous -- like a mischievous 11 year old with a slingshot and a frog in his pocket.

About five police cars were damaged in total, police said, adding that some will require thousands of dollars' worth of repairs.

...

"I'm protesting because I want equal rights for everybody, and I want peaceful protest," said 19-year-old Daniel Lujan, one of hundreds in a crowd that appeared to be mostly Latinos in their late teens and 20s.

...he said as he smashed a police car with a rock.

"I knew this was going to happen," Lujan added. "It was going to be a riot. He deserves what he gets."

He just said, two seconds ago, he wanted "peace."

He seems to want "peace" like the Palestinian Knife Activists want "peace."

Video footage showed some anti-Trump demonstrators hurling debris at a passing pickup truck.

Nearly attempted murder. Let's just call it Aggravated Boisterousness With Intent to Commit Hijinks.

This sounds like people being assholes of their own free will. That can't be right.

I think that's what happened here in Illinois. There was a CBS poll showing Cruz within 4 of Trump a week out, and then Trump won a blow out. Cruz's actual vote matched the CBS poll. So a large bunch of Kasich/undecided voters went to Trump over that last weekend and the only real event was the alien riots at the U of I campus preventing a Trump speech.

61 I am not, by any stretch of imagination, a Trump supporter. Make no mistake.

But I am persuaded that what we're looking at is the greatest example in history of "I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it." Trump may in fact be the biggest asshole to ever run for office with an R after his name (yes, I know there's an asterisk after that R), but he has the same right to run and to speak as anyone. These racist, leftist assmunchers our rioting feel they are entitled to silence him because of the correctness of their political stances, which, by the way, they aren't, but what the hell, right? And that's what we're dealing with on the left -- a grabastic mob persuaded of the historical inevitability and rightness of their progressive "thought" (and I use that term very loosely as regards their capacity for rational thought) which trumps the right of any opponent, real or imagined, to speak or to me heard.

That being said, Trump delenda est.

Because some lawyer would sue the crap out of the driver for injuring those peaceful protesters. It's not really equivalent, but when we lived in the Middle East, we had to be very careful driving, because poor families would literally throw a child in front of a diplomatic car to that he/she would be hurt or killed, and they could claim blood money. That happened more times than I could believe. So yeah, these asswipes are provoking an incident so they can collect more money from you, besides your ever increasing taxes. And judges in those jurisdictions are most likely going to side with the protestors.

That being said I think all supporters of Cruz need to look into Hillary Clinton since Bill's term ended. I just got through looking up Teneo, the Clarion Project, Clinton Cash, etc. All this in addition to the often reported email scandal, Benghazi, are not something to ignore. Barack Obama was bad. This woman is a nightmare of biblical proportions. She has no moral compass. In past elections we have always been told that if so and so is elected bad things will happen. Like most I have poo-pooed this in past elections (ie I did NOT vote for Romney). I think it is really bad this time. Take everything she has done and picture her using the POWER of the President to continue (with the added fact that Obama has expanded executive overreach in his two terms). Just think about it and the fact that this is what we will be leaving OUR kids with (as opposed to this idiots at this Trump event).

189 As I said in the earlier thread, every time the "Nation" as a whole sees protesters with Mexican flags, Trump gains thousands of votes. In the general, he might easily lose California (though I wouldn't bet my last dollar on that as I think he's going to do a lot better with Blacks, the ultimate LIVs, than people think), but other states that have seen the damage done to their communities by illegal immigration (which is covered up by the MFM) will vote as a huge silent majority (the polls up to the last day before the election will not show this).

Sorry Ace, but this protest was in my back yard (mowed by illegals probably, I never asked) and that is enough to motivate a vote for Trump as a big F.U. to this trash. It's against self interest, as a big roundup of illegals(if he wins and if he follows through on the promise) will crash the local housing market, but that's the price to pay.

That is preferable to waiting around for another decade while the situation gets worse. The left is hell bent on transforming this country into a stateless and borderless utopia. Worse, the stupid internationalist wing of the GOP will help them because they are so fixated on free trade and cheap labor, thus open borders.

One of the cops, the sergeant, had previously given mouth-to-mouth to an hiv-positive transvestite to save that person's life. American "tribal pride" is based on the Constitution and on American ideals, since we do not have blood ties which bind us all. The Left has been undermining those ideals for many years now.

Not really an anchor baby situation, though.

You cannot apply for citizenship until you've lived in the USA for a few years. Having a baby in the interim isn't the same as coming to America illegally then popping out a baby to keep yourself there.

As I understand immigration law, children under 18 automatically become citizens once their parents become citizens in any case.

449 I'd say the Confederate Flag is as American as the Mexican one, in that its a flag of a nation that is in the American continents. So it depends on what you mean by "American" in this context. American as in "the United States of America?" Clearly not, since the states seceded from that nation to become a distinct and separate country. American as in "I'm an American and proud of my heritage?" OK, sure, that's as American as the Irish flag during St Patty's day.

Wiki says it. Don't personally have an opinion, but the article has a lot of details and cites.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bobby_Jindal#Early_life_and_education

"Prior to immigrating to the United States, both his parents were lecturers at an Indian engineering college.[12] At the time of their move to the US, Raj Jindal was to be a doctoral candidate in physics.[13] They left Malerkotla, Punjab, India[14][15] in January 1971, six months before their son was born.[16] "

Put it a different way - we don't know their intent, but their actions and the current system incentives are facts. I'd agree with calling Jindal an anchor baby.

He's a higher quality one, but he's what he is.

470 RM, I do not believe for one moment that when you say people waving Mexican flags don't "deserve" the protections of American law, that it was just an idle statement devoid of any premise of action. ESPECIALLY when your defense of people waving Confederate flags @ 399 wasn't based on any libertarian defense of rights, but instead based on that, according to you, Southern "culture" is "needed" at this time, and that they paid the price for waving the flag in the past so in your book, they somehow get a cultural exception for waving a flag that's not an American flag. We also know this because YOU actually took MY position when arguing against Turd Ferguson - when he claimed that the Confederate Flag is not an American flag (which I agree with), you then stated that the appropriate course of action would be "to kick out the Confederate States out of America." Gee, if you actually believed that people waving the flags of foreign countries was objectionable but not actionable, why would you advocate, based on Turd's premise that Confederate flags weren't American, that Confederate States should be kicked out? That is, depriving them of the protection of American law and society? I drew exactly the conclusion you wanted a reasonable person to draw and when you are confronted with how ugly it is, you backtrack. You are full of it as always and rely on these cheap stupid rhetorical tricks.

472 The "anchor" in "anchor-baby" is there because the child is the only reason the parents can legally stay in the country. Hence - the "baby" is the "anchor."

If the parents were here on any kind of long-term visa, Bobby Jindal is not an anchor baby, because they didn't need his status in order to legally stay.

If his parents entered the United States without permission or on a tourist visa, had Bobby, then used his status to stay in the United States, then he's an anchor baby.
