The adult website Pornhub took a look at the most-searched terms in the first month of this year in all 50 states and found that Americans overwhelmingly love lesbians. In 30 states, "lesbian" was on top as the most commonly searched term. And the term was most popular in California where there were 187,000 searches for the word in January.

33 The antiseptic bureaucratese language is sort of unsettling: the Obama administration didn't illegally divert tax dollars to give to their cronies in the health insurance business, instead they stand accused of "prioritizing payment of $3-5 billion {Note: seems like a big range to me} to insurance companies instead of the U.S. Treasury."

"Prioritizing payment"? They could just say "stole".

Results are still coming in from Super Tuesday, but it appears that Donald Trump is on track for the Republican nomination. Trump needed to finish the night with 297 delegates across all contests so far, according to FiveThirtyEights analysis of the race, and he currently has 336. Both Cruz and Rubio lag behind their targets.

The 538 delegate tracker is a pretty leet bit of data visualization, although there are a few debatable assumptions in the model.

National Blacks In Government (BIG) is accepting nominations for the 2016 National BIG Military Meritorious Service Award. This award honors military members and Department of Defense (DoD) civilian employees, men and women, who have supported the DoD mission, overseas contingency operations, or whose attributes best epitomized the qualities and core values of their respective Military Service or other DoD Component.

And you wonder with the DOD wasting time, money, and efforts on shit like this why a Navy Patrol Boat can wander into enemy territory ( maybe) and no one even fights back with a Carrier 5 minutes away?

Rather complex, because of late returns and adjustments to the vote totals, and the individual state allocation rules. Trying to program all that into a model can be tricky, and it definitely looks like the NYT ORCA'd it.

Other counts are closer, and some folks have sacked up and actually done hand calculations like the good old days.

I have serious troubles with Donald Trump but that is a separate issue unto itself.

The fact that Bill Kristol is endorsing Hilary Clinton over Trump is all the proof you need of the one party system in effect. If he hates Trump so much, why not back Cruz or Rubio or Tevye jr. jr.?

Obscure rules, not generally available
Organizing committee spoks minions espeaking to news media who are facing a deadline, and want to be first with the news and don't have time nor inclination to wade through twenty five volumes of rules written by lawyers for lawyers to be interpreted by other lawyers on a case by case basis.

and that is before we begin to argue over the meaning of 'is'.

That made me laugh! I think Romney castigating Donald Trump is a bad strategy if he wants people not to vote for him I liked Romney; I think he was a good man. (At least the comments at the Republican convention from his co-workers and friends indicated that) although he should have attacked Obama directly. However, being lectured to by an individual people consider an elitist and a loser will just draw people not into Rubio's camp, I suspect (if that's what the GOPe want), but more intransigently into Trump's.

The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) yesterday filed lawsuits alleging that two companies engaged in anti-gay discrimination in violation of the sex discrimination ban in Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.

Although the EEOC last year weighed in on an ongoing case, arguing that sexual orientation discrimination is illegal under Title VII, this is the first time the agency has used its authority to file its own lawsuits on that issue.

Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 prohibits discrimination because of sex. As the federal law enforcement agency charged with interpreting and enforcing Title VII, EEOC has concluded that harassment and other discrimination because of sexual orientation is prohibited sex discrimination.

www.eeoc.gov/eeoc/newsroom/release/3-1-16.cfm

NB: "Gays", as such, are not currently a federal protected class, because attempts to pass a general gay anti-discrimination law thru the congress have been repeatedly defeated. There are certain specific limited areas where gays have explicitly been given special status thru legislation or Obama's Magic Pen.

This is the EEOC fiat rule making gay = sex so they can use the existing sex discrimination statue.

The thing is, Melania was self-made, already making her own money, and successful, not to mention drop-dead gorgeous. Cruz's wife seems the same as far as successful, intelligent and self-made.

151 And on a happier note (for me) than on the Trumpscapades-I had a lovely walk today in the cold temps this morning. The sun was shining, though, and the sky was crystal blue. I did something I have always enjoyed ever since I was a kid-looking at the patterns in the ice along the path where the rain had frozen and then taking the top of my sneaker and breaking it and hearing that delightful sound that brittle ice breaking can make (delightful as long as you're not about to fall through it in a pond of something, but as it was only about two inches no danger of that!), As I walked on the path about ten robins were bop-bop-bopping along. Those fat little robins are funny to look at as the bounce away and with their white at the bottom it looks like they're showing their white underwear. or a petticoat The macadam where I walked is mixed with pieces of glass or something and sparkles like diamonds as you walk along. It's lovely

Then I went to the grocery store where someone complimented me and that was nice. I think it was Mark Twain who said something, "I could live on a good compliment for a month." Maybe there's someone in your life off the board you could compliment today and help make their day? :^)

170 And on a happier note (for me) than on the Trumpscapades-I had a lovely walk today in the cold temps this morning.

nice

I wanted to go outside this morning. The sun is shining bright.

But, when I opened the door to MINUS 17 degrees, with a MINUS 29 windchill, I didn't want to die. So I put on my fireplace (gas), and made fresh coffee instead. Still overall nice morning, as I usually enjoy.

Agree, giving a complement and receiving one is a gift, and transcends all.

Why is it okay to nuke the GOP and possibly the Country to stop Trump (who , let's face it, won't be *able* to do much if he wins the Presidency. Congress will suddenly rediscover their Coequal status and start blocking him at every turn), but it wasn't to stop Obama?

Okay, nuking the GOP wouldn't have stopped Obama, but you see my point, I think. It is amazing (as in: totally in character for the Establishment) that they're so much more willing to fight against their own base than they are the putative opposition.

If the debater starts a verbal attack on another candidate, Ace turns off the live mike and resets the timer but adds the remaining time to the next debater's allotted time.

Ace also has the power to award bonus speaking time to any debater that presents an elegant attack on Hillary, socialism, or the Democrat Party!

If the Republican party had shown one tenth of the opposition to the SCOAMT and his policies that they do to their own (and this goes way before Trump - "Tea Party Hobbits" was coined back shortly after the ObamaCare debacle, IIRC) base, we wouldn't have ObamaCare, we wouldn't be involved in two (or is it 3?) *actually* illegal wars, and Hillary Clinton would already be in jail.

I really think his finances are so convoluted that nobody is going to figure it out, but it is something we will have to think about. My concept of a great AoS friendly GOP debate is based on the Ace flexible banhammer as follows:

Ace is given control of the hot mike switch and the answer countdown timer. The rules are that once a question is asked, only the questioned debater has a live mike and the countdown timer starts.

Debates would be fun again!

You're asking the wrong question. You should be asking who will actually govern like that.

We have NO PROOF that either Trump or Cruz will govern as President in a manner adhering to the constitution.

And rightly so because circumstances may necessitate other answers.

My answer to the FCUK YOU REDNECKS is FCUK YOU SELFISH BASTARDS.

You do know that for the last 40 years, the working and middle class have gained NO ground while the top 20% have gotten abundantly rich? I'm not against rich people but when they are taking too much and leaving the people who do the work behind then they're being stupid and greedy.

Why do you think they want open borders? Because they want some more bodies to exploit knowing that the ones here now are about fed up with being impoverished. It's not about nannies and gardeners, it's about their fear for their lifestyle if the working and middle class revolt. Those are always bloody and they strike the well off whether deserved or not.

Hillary Clinton's

Reuters review found errors in how they reported donations from
governments, and said they may audit other Clinton Foundation returns in
case of other errors....The
charities' errors generally take the form of under-reporting or
over-reporting, by millions of dollars, donations from foreign
governments, or in other instances omitting to break out government
donations entirely when reporting revenue, the charities confirmed to
Reuters.
The errors, which have not been previously
reported, appear on the form 990s that all non-profit organizations must
file annually with the Internal Revenue Service to maintain their
tax-exempt status. A charity must show copies of the forms to anyone who
wants to see them to understand how the charity raises and spends

Why not make a demand to the public unions and say "I will instruct my agency heads to refuse to either hire new employees OR refuse to extend employment contracts for current workers until the unions and Congress agree to re-work termination policy." Is that legally hard to do or is it just politically hard to do? I mean if an employee fucks up and is proven to have done so and if it's impossible to fire them short of murder why not just refuse to extend their employment contract when it is set to be renewed?

Exactly. This party is so pathetic that they are going to dust the cobwebs off a loser to go out and do the dirty work so that their chosen one doesn't have to. It would be one thing if they were bringing out a winner or someone who Republican voters had strong feelings for; instead, they trot out a guy that Republican voters had to be dragged kicking and screaming into voting for. What's worse is that Trump's people will contrast how soft this loser was on Obama against how hard he's going after Trump and all it does is reinforce in many people's minds why they despise the Republican party "leadership."

389 So about that sidebar article about how difficult it
is to fire a federal employee. I assume that public sector workers
sign contracts for "x" number of years after the probationary period
right? It's not like they can simply be employed indefinitely until they
fuck up? Why not make a demand to the public unions and say "I will
instruct my agency heads to refuse to either hire new employees OR
refuse to extend employment contracts for current workers until the
unions and Congress agree to re-work termination policy." Is that
legally hard to do or is it just politically hard to do? I mean if an
employee fucks up and is proven to have done so and if it's impossible
to fire them short of murder why not just refuse to extend their
employment contract when it is set to be renewed?

396 Those returns are all public information. They may not be correct, but they are public.

No. They're not public information.

It only appears that way because the IRS feels no need to obey the law and somehow manages to leak the ones that might cause a Republican damage.

And the Candidates with nothing to lose will always release them because THEY HAVE NOTHING TO LOSE.

Even a legal and straight forward return can be taken out of context and turned on the filer.

Just noting how much he makes more than one of his workers will do the trick for some voters.

Whoever thought that many people who have been bitching for years that they want a candidate who will call out the biased MFM and punch back twice as hard would get the vapors when someone actually does that?

Of course, it's a false premise. The problem Cruz has of course, is likability. Everyone can see that, whether they want to admit it or not.

So the Trump coalition is NOT a bunch of hypocrites who are ignoring the REAL conservative, Cruz. To the extent that the Trump coalition contains conservatives, there are people who don't believe Cruz is a real conservative.

And of course the greater majority of Trump's support are just regular people who hate the Republican Party.

Those are the people Gope seeks to silence. Appealing to the smaller government types to walk away from Trump isn't going to mean a damn thing to them.

463 I read the Kristol excerpts. According to Bill's DreamThinking, Trump could be stopped from reaching a delegate majority if Cruz supporters vote for Kasich in Ohio and if Cruz supporters vote for Rubio in Florida.

Odd. I must be blind or in de nile. No matter how loud and long the weird hairpiece with the fifth-grader vocabulary and manners shouts that "nobody likes him," I don't see it. Of course me & my neighbors all liked him enough to hand him a win in this state.

Oh, well, unless you mean how lots of RINOs don't like Cruz for reasons similar to why they don't like Drumpf, or how the atheist left doesn't like him because religiosity, but those just make him more likable in my book (like how I liked der Donald because the enemy hated him back when he seemed bold and solid on issues like immigration).

490 Obama "prioritizing" and "redirecting" payments from Treasury to Obamacare, explained for average voters.

So, you don't have a budget. When the bills come in, you put them in a big box and pick out the ones you want to pay when your to government check comes in. This month you can pay your bookie or go to Rent-A-Center and get a new 65" flatscreen for only $60/ month. You choose the flatscreen.

The sad part is that most voters would think my analogy is the correct choice.
