Ann Coulter and Sean Hannity Are Having a Twitter Fight Over Hannity's Previous Support of Gang of Eight

Hands down, the angriest, most savage primary I've seen.

Flashback: As Powerline noted at the time, Hannity's one-hour interview with Rubio about his Amnesty Bill was just embarrassing for all involved, including FoxNews, which has had a full-court press on amnesty since 2012 (if not before).

As Mickey Kaus always notes: FoxNews makes amnesty easy for the GOP, by refusing to give much voice to the case against it. FoxNews goes out of its way to not cover the issue much.

Forgot to mention why I posted this: Because Hannity is claiming he supported a false version of Gang of Eight.

Who provided him with that false version?

Well, Marco Rubio. The guy who's been Gang of Eight's pointman for pulling the wool over the eyes of the right all along.

60 A lot of talk show guys gave Rubio a fair hearing on their shows out of good faith. Hannity is not too bright, so I can believe he got taken by the gang of eight bill at first, but I believe him that he was against it later. Rubio went on those shows and lied like a dem. I listened to his interview with Rush, and I'm sure he was as taken aback as I was at all of the lies.

I like on Coulter, but man she can really be nasty and mercurial. She was a huge supporter of Mitch McConnell a couple of years ago, wasn't she? She becomes a fan girl of all sorts of characters. It's not really predictable.

Posted by: Duke Lowell at February 29, 2016 07:47 PM (kTF2Z)

62 Is this the pissy thread?

I don't know, but don't think Hannity will win.

That greasy-haired fugly reporter is still at the top of stoopid yahoo news. Ugh. Comments pretty much defend the agent who took him down. Saying it happened during a testy BLM parade, all systems go, there have been NYT threats of killing Trump, etc. One guy mentions a time at a football game, when a policeman told them to stand back and he got all yappy with cop and taken down. He agreed that if security says back off you should.

I mention this story of a son, with UF football SEC game in NOLA. Of course on Bourbon St. Of course son and friends were just having beers. Ok. (I was once young and know Bourbon Street and, yea, have stories of Mardi Gras). So, anyway, one of son's nerdy band friends bumps into NOLA policeman w/ beer in hand. NOLA policeman arrests him, saying it was intentional, etc. It wasn't. A friend says, "Whoa, wut?" and gets arrested. Son, for once in life, has sense to keep quiet as he wanted to "Wut?" as well. So, at 2am, we get a call from son asking for bail money for friend in drunk tank in the bowels of NOLA jail. Am not quite sure why we were called vs friend's wealthy Dad, but whatever.

At the time I thought "Wut" along with son...but, have you ever been to NOLA on Bourbon Street? Those poor police. Seriously. Hail on earth crazy people, and that is on a Monday.

So, these security guys are on edge, there is craziness going on, and this stupid greasy-haired jackass decides he is such a special stinky snowflake he can go past barrier. Asked to back his scrawny arse back. Instead he gets in agents ear and tells him to eff off. Then grand slam and kicking and wailing by the little twerp poopie pants (who reeks of pot and that hippie smell from an old Ted Bundy van). waaa

I am glad the SS guy took him down.

They did the opposite in my market - replaced Hannity with Savage.

I don't listen to Hannity any longer, not even on Sirius. Every time there was a shooting or something, he had to go on and on about how he's a "marksman" and knows oh so much about guns...then gets it wrong.

It's sort of a national practical IQ test. Which the country has been failing - by larger margins - for years now.

Mass illegal immigration without assimilation and the erosion of the rule of law are incredibly stupid, unsustainable, indefensible "policies" - leaving aside their moral toxicity.

But most the GOP, all of the Dems, and large chunks of otherwise not obviously incredibly stupid "conservative" sorts fail that IQ test.

Not the only test that's been failed, of course. But it removes any remaining doubt about what sensible people have to work with in trying to de-f**k a formerly great country.

Pick an issue, he is weak, soft, or had a very non-conservative view in the recent past. There are videos or stories about everything that should make him a great candidate... on the Democratic ticket.

But you know why he isn't? Because he would lose to Hilary, because she has a vagina, and he cannot possibly go any further left than Sanders. It is a no win.

So he comes to the other side and lies his but off... but his followers love him because they think he is an outsider and "tells it like it is".

He is telling his supporters what they want to hear. They refuse to hear the truth about his past. The Kool-aid tastes too good.

A cult of personality much like Bill Clinton's and Obama's and past stances on issues that are the same.

No. Never. Not a chance.

217 With regard to the photographer allegedly being roughed up by security, I'm remembering 2008 here.

A journalist claimed that he had heard a man scream "Kill him!!!" at a Republican rally when Sarah Palin mentioned Obama from the stage.

The Obamabot population (which around here is 95% of the general population) went absolutely ballistic and said this proved the horrific racist nature of Palin and of Republicans in general. A claim they would go on to repeat for the rest of the campaign, in acidly accusatory voices.

Meanwhile, the Secret Service, who are required to take such things seriously, were spinning up their own investigation. After talking to the reporter, they then located and interviewed every single law enforcement officer, federal, state and local, who had been on duty at the rally. They reviewed all available audio and video sources.

And at the end of it all, they concluded that the claim by the journalista "could not be factually substantiated". _Quelle_ surprise.

252 The gang of eight matters to a few people, but most of us have already factored it in, and in that equation, that determines who you want for President, Marco Rubio comes out the best of the three that are left.

Rubio's not perfect, but the Cruz's and Trump's imperfections are more substantial and disqualifying.

I would support Cruz now if he saved us from Trump. But I don't think he would beat Hillary, he is just too distasteful and narrow minded. And smug. People don't like smug.

In the case of Trump... He is simply undoable. In fact the needs of the nation are such that allowing him to be in the Whitehouse should constitute treason.

The possibility, more and more likely, is bad enough to work against the GOP were he nominated because he is a mentally ill man, with an outsized ego, who should never get his hands on the kind of information t he government has at it's fingertips. Or the nuclear codes.

The man is unstable and a danger to the entire world.

Yes? And?

The point is Obama is the first Emperor and Trump is the second.

I'd like to avoid the second if at all possible. I like Presidents to be limited in their power.

Especially since Trump is deeply disturbed mentally.

Giving unlimited power to a disturbed person is sort of like giving a disturbed person a gun... only these have a radiation warning on them.

The Social Security system does not pencil out.

It is a Ponzi scheme and we all know that the only ones allowed to do those things legally is the government.
So, they need a new roster of people paying in, because, unlike the original contract, those assholes have taken the money (our money) and spent it on vote buying.
Every promise made about Social Security has been broken and resounding so. One percent of earnings, no number used for identification, no mingling with the general fund. Every one. Broken.
Did anyone besides me see the 60 minutes segment about how the SSA buggers about less than one percent of enrollees and declares them dead, while still alive? Bank accounts shut, no credit ever.

374 Actually folks don't forget that petunia's silly little rant here is echoed by "real" people, columnists, GOP incumbents, etc.

As with all humor any more, it's dark and ironic, but it's really something to behold these people, in 2016, hysterically gibbering about "nuclear codes!!" and such when fulminating against Trump.

As if there is the slightest chance more unfit and dangerously clueless people could be found to staff the govt. in the national security area then we've seen the last 7 years. From the Oval Office on down.

As I said, dark humor.

376 345 It amazes me that people characterize Trump, like Bush, as an idiot and an incompetent yet when he gets elected he will swing into action as the most evil genius the world ever saw and he will mastermind our downfall.

I don't get it.

-------------------------------------------

I don't. I think Trump knows exactly what he is doing.
For example, does not immediately condemn David Duke's endorsement.. shows he is willing to pander even more for the white supremacist voting block. Later back tracks cuz he has to (wink wink).
Its a small voting block to be sure, but he also knows that he has to pander a little to everyone, and it will all add up in the end.

Vote Trump. Tyrant for Prez!

395 I am willing to give anybody vs Hillary or Bernie a chance. But Rubio has proven, to Floridians, to be a lazy liar who misses important votes. He is all speech and no action...sort of like his mirror image Obarfy. He was elected because of his creased pants and wonderfully brilliant speechifying hypnotic ssszzzzzz sounds. Which were emitted by his fly-specked purple orifice.

Marlo? He's cute sayz the gurls who somehow overlook his giant ears, which grow larger and redder with each lie he tells. Fortunately he has lost his voice today, which I find wonderful. Nikki Haley, who I also used to like (my goodness, they are falling like constipated cannon balls in toilet of shame), is his spokesperson/puppet.

Too bad Perry and Jindal dopped out, yo? They'd look pretty dang good right about now.

464 Looks like Donald was on the wrong side of history (and a court case) again. He's not very good at this, is he?

Donald Trump on Friday called for a boycott against Apple until the technology giant helps the FBI break into the iPhone of one of the San Bernardino shooters.

"Boycott Apple until such time as they give that information," Trump told a crowded room of supporters during a town hall-style event here just one day before the South Carolina GOP primary.

470 Yeah but its all stupid nonsense. Nobody who enters after Super Tuesday will get more than 3% in any race. Its just too late. I am sure they know this, but maybe they really are that stupid and out of touch to think voters are desperate for some new GOPe chump to show up and save the show.

The goal isn't to win, it's too keep a lunatic out of the Whitehouse.

We believe the race is already lost if Trump nominated, and the nation is lost if he were to get the nomination.

I guess you all haven't figured out that the GOP is finished. Many of us have come to grips with that.

The GOP is not going to be the party of the KKK. Or if it is, it will be clear which of us are racists, and which of us are not.

Our patriotic duty is to find someone to run third party if Trump wins. We only need enough to keep him out of the Whitehouse. Not to win. that is crazy talk.

Yes, that was one of those... "oh my gosh he's lunatic" moments. A dangerous lunatic who would use his power as President to punish private businesses that cross him... yes, he did worse than pick the wrong side, he misused power.

And that is why we can never allow him to take the Whitehouse.

I've read Secret Service, and there's a video where the guy says fuck you to the agent/security, and that's when he took him down.
