14 If you were paying $10,000 in private health insurance and I said to you, guess what, you ain't going to pay that $10,000 and more but you're going to pay $5,000 more in healthcare premiums, you'd be jumping up and down for joy. You save $5,000 on your healthcare bills,'' Sanders told TIME.

He's doubling down on Obama's $2, 500 a year savings.

30 RE RNCe banking on SC t get their RINO elected. Trump is winning SC right now by a factor of two over Cruz and the rest are in the dirt. They better not be banking on their RINO winning SC.

But they don't have to worry. SC is the first State to have a significant number of electors and it is a conservative State. So they have gladly diluted the conservative vote by making it a "proportional elector" State instead of winner take all.

40 I'm going to have to stop reading Kevin Williamson until after the primaries. I generally like snark, but mostly when it's directed at people I don't like.

The writers need to get over their sense of importance and remember that they are just providing opino-entertainment and in the end, they will make no difference at all on the world, though as an internet commenter, I probably say that as shouldn't.

I was disabused of that idea while waiting to see my doctor when a current employee at the site I used to work at came in and we discussed the shutdown of a nearby coal generation plant. I asked him about how they were mothballing it to keep it ready to start back up.

He said they were demolishing it so that it could never be started back up again. So there are some hidden things going on there that the public is not getting told about.

50 This is madness.

Rowan Blanchard is proving once again that she is wise beyond her
years. The 14-year-old Girl Meets World actress has never been one to
shy away from mature, important conversations. As it turns out, this
weekend was no different when the Disney Channel star opened up about
her sexuality. In a Twitter post shared early Saturday, Rowan called
herself "queer," but also expressed the importance of not labeling
others.

"In my life --- only ever liked boys," she shared online. "However I
personally don't wanna label myself as straight, gay or whateva so I am
not gonna give myself labels to stick with --- just existing....Yes, I'm
open to liking any gender in future is why I identify as queer."

Here's a tip: you can exist, and avoid labels, by not not talking about your sexuality with the world/twitterverse.

!Pinata!:

Jeb Bush invokes MLK, Jr. as he unveils education plan

Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush offered a sweeping school choice-centric education plan Monday with proposals that would allow parents to spend government dollars on the pre-K program of their choice and give college students a $50,000 line of credit to pay tuition.

In a post on Medium, Bush said his plan honors Kings legacy, and that "ensuring every individual has access to a quality education is the great civil rights challenge of our time."

147 So Williamson says Trump is a boob and all his supporters are really really dumb. Then he says Cruz needs that urban support, which Trump the boob is smart enough to win.

He also said Republicans are sneering at NY values when they should be seeking to satisfy the best of those, like the entrepreneurial values. But it was only Cruz that tried the Obama trick of "divide and conquer", except instead of "cling to guns and religion", it is big city people versus Iowans.

Trump has the entrepreneur cred, and people love his success story, even though Kevvy thinks one makes $9B in real estate by being a boob. Ted is tied to politics. His wife is private sector, but Goldman Sachs practically owns congress and the White House ... not exactly entrepreneurial.

I agree with Williamson that it was not smart to pick a fight with "big city" folk, but most of his energy is spent bashing Trump and his supporters, as bood Trump does exactly what he suggests, and his genius Cruz played the alienate and conquer card.

Trump or Cruz 2016. Trump has excited crowds, could maybe energize the country. Cruz needs to reach beyond his conservative base. His numbers aren't good and the NY Values thing seems like a desperate ploy, that will cost him in the general even if he were to win the primary.

It would help if Rand wouldn't play the left's game of calling anger at open border policy, and its Illegal Aliens, the same as "hating mostly peaceful immigrants". We don't need a fence/wall to control legal immigration. But misrepresenting Trump's flair is a favorite straw man ... while most use poll tested scripts and inspire few.

Even the illegals (foreign nationals) are largely victims of the dealers and rapists that profit. But that is still not an argument for bringing in half of Guatemala.

160 There is an obvious reasons why Ted Cruz used the phrase "New York values". On his FB page is a video of a 1999 interview that Tim Russert did with Trump.
Trump says that he supports 3rd trimester abortions and same sex marriage because he's from NY--and TRUMP uses the phrase "New York values" to defend his opinions. I suspect that Cruz is preparing to unload this thing on Trump, big time.

As a proud Bronx native , I am astonished at how thin-skinned New Yorkers have become. I can remember a time when everyone would have laughed it off, saying "Who cares about a guy who thinks that Houston is big city?' Obnoxious, yes--but true to New York, and better than all this pearl clutching.

not so good. He hung around with commies. He was accused of plagiarism
while at B.U. He wasn't the saint he's portrayed to be. An
affirmative action 'hero', nothing more.

I disagree... MLK may not have been perfect, and was certainly heading down the "social justice" path when he died, but he was an incredibly brave man who put his flesh and blood on the line to right some incredibly wrong things. His writing... including his sermons... are moving and insightful.

As far as the infidelity claims, it reminds me of what Bill Burr says about famous men and the plague of gold digging whores that follow them. His take on it is its all about opportunity, that famous men don't get credit for all the women they could sleep with but don't and the only reason that the guy down at home depot isn't cheating is that whores don't like lumber.

164 the comment above referencing Bill Burr is mine... I forgot to switch my name back when I finished ragging on the birthers last week.

166 So Bernie 2 questions for you?

1) What government program ever came online with the budget numbers being accurate and not under valued?

2) If your home state, VT, can not afford single payer how in the hell would the USA be able to afford single payer?

It was another time, my friend.

Obama and the MSM have made personal vilification the currency of modern politics.

I actually believed it happened when Clinton poked his finger at us. Said he had never had sex with that woman. All of his cabinet members standing around him, supporting him and not a one resigned over his behaviour. At that point the lines had been drawn between right & left .

171 The success of Trump and Cruz has really pulled some masks off, hasn't it? It's MIND-BOGGLING.

This "New York Values" piece isn't the first by NR that I've been shown that goes after them. I saw another piece that was supposedly "analyzing" the differences between Cruz and Rubio, but was in fact whitewashing Rubio's betrayals.

In this one we LITERALLY have supposed hard-core conservatives singing the praises of uber-liberal New York and LITERALLY suggesting that Republicans bend their ways to make New Yorkers happy, so that maybe they can win some super-blue states someday. How DARE Cruz disrespect NYC (which elected a practically communist mayor)!!!

Wow. Just wow. And these aren't the only supposedly redder-than-red types who I've heard screeching like a liberal with Bush Derangement Syndrome. Usually they're screaming about how Trump - who convincingly promises to finally do what Republicans have promised for decades, but never delivered on, and who has single-handedly started dismantling poiltical correctness and pretty much already destroyed Hillary - is really a Democrat, as their establishment candidates continue to bow to political correctness. With Republicans like THEM, who needs Democrats!?!

173 I hope those oil men don't think the gubment will bail them out just because they watched it happened in the financial insurance sector. There's a big difference between Washinvton's banker buddies and those dirty polluting oil patch trash.
