2 Good Morning Morons. Today is Friday, December 11, 2015. On this day in 630 and insane asshole lead an army of 10,000 to conquer Mecca. Afterwards he founded what he called a religion based on wiping your ass with your hands and cutting off the heads of people you did not like. But fun could be had in raping women and children, Oh and he made divorce real easy in case you did ot want to kill yur wide. Simply throw your wife's shoes out of the tent.

4 The ISIS terror group and the Syrian government of Bashar al-Assad have engaged in millions and millions of dollars of trade despite being at war with each other, a top U.S. Treasury official said Thursday.

Even if it is true, so what. We know everyone of these assholes are shit. None of them are worth the peanuts of an American soldier's turds. We have no dog in this fight. If McShitty and Lamdick Lindsay want to put boots on the ground they can have at it; themselves.

And speaking of whitewash:

The California college student who stabbed four people last month in a campus spree that ended when he was killed by campus police was described by his roommate as an extreme Muslim and carried a manifesto and a photocopy of an ISIS flag, more than enough to convince John Price he was a terrorist

But no, officials say he was a disgruntled student who was thrown out of a study group. As always, he stabbed the wrong people.

Forecasters from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) are still predicting with near certainty that this El Nino will last through the winter and will be the strongest since the 1997-98 El Nino and possibly the third strongest since 1950. He wanted to warn them about what he believed were serious problems with leadership in his unit. And he wanted to prove himself as a real-life action hero, like someone out of a movie.

No, he was a treasonous asshole who deserted his post under fire, exposing his fellows. He should be shot as a deserter. Instead the asshole 'n chief paid a fortune to terrorists for his release and gave up 5 high value terrorists. Or, as some say, used him for an excuse to do what he wanted to do anyway. 57 A source told Jack Murphy of SOFREP that the FBI instantly believed the shooting, which left 14 dead, to be a clear act of terrorism. The White House, however, didn't feel the same way and quickly moved in to squash the terror classification.

This source added that as soon as the shooting took place, Obama convened a meeting with the National Security Council and the heads of other federal enforcement agencies to discuss a public relations strategy.

Part of the reason for trying to avoid the designation of the shootings as terrorism is because it threatens to upset the Obama administration's strategy in Syria. A case of Islamic terrorism in the U.S. would put additional pressure on the administration to play a much more active role in the conflict.

Yes, is that a disgusting spectacle, or what? Putting these cops through a stupid show trial for no reason other than to appease the baying mobs of racist thugs.

The state's homicide case consists of nothing more than (1) the cops didn't seatbelt Gray, and (2) the cops didn't get Gray timely medical help after his own movements in the back of the van caused his fatal neck injury. But the doctors say Gray's injury was catastrophic and unsurvivable, so even if the cops delayed getting him medical help (and there is no evidence they did), it wouldn't have changed the outcome. As to the seatbelts, the cops in Baltimore routinely did not seatbelt suspects, for good reason, and the e-mail announcing the change in seatbelt policy was not sent out until a couple of days before Gray's accident, and there is no evidence that any of the cops on trial ever saw the e-mail or were aware of the change in long-standing department policy.

It is clear that the wrong people are facing charges here. The one who should be charged is state's attorney Marilyn Mosby. She is abusing judicial process, and violating multiple ethical canons for lawyers. She should be disbarred and prosecuted.

But no, officials say he was a disgruntled student who was thrown out of a study group. As always, he stabbed the wrong people.

Well they did have to leave for Egypt due to Herod trying to kill their son. I think that would count as political refugee.

However, that is mitigated by several facts:

1) they had a bit of a bounty with the gold, frankincense and myrrh. I'm sure Egypt wasn't picking up the tab on them living there.

2) there was a large population of Jews living in Alexandria

3) their stay in Egypt was temporary

Yeah, that's the thing.

Certainly it is a Christian virtue to assist those in need, whatever the circumstances of that need. That's pretty clear from scripture. Certainly, any given refugee (given that they are really refugees) is someone to whom we should show God's Mercy and Love. This is not even a question at the current time. You will find exactly zero Christians who deny that.

On the other hand, that says absolutely nothing about the stance any given temporal authority (that is: nation) should do about foreign refugees, and certainly does not speak to the specific situation of a country willfully importing those who would seek to destroy it.

I don't oppose Mohammedan refugees because I hate them, or because I'm Islamaphobic, or any such thing. I oppose them because I'm not willing to let my wife or kids get shot up when they go to the shopping mall.

I should point out that the idiot in my example is a preacher/pastor for an actual congregation. Is it an appropriate response to take them in thousands of miles from their homeland, spread them out over a continent in an alien culture and make them wards of the state.

The thing is, we have to really reach out to those who might consider voting for Trump and say, This is Goebbels. This is the final solution. The Virginia Department of Elections said every candidate running for president, with the exception of Gov. George Pataki, had submitted paperwork and signatures ahead of the 5 p.m. deadline on Thursday to get on the states primary ballot.

In 2012, former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum, former Speaker Newt Gingrich (Ga.) and former Texas Gov. Rick Perry failed to meet the states onerous requirements, leaving only Mitt Romney and former Rep. Ron Paul (Texas) on the GOP primary ballot.

207 Mary, Joseph and Jesus fled Egypt because Herod wanted to kill Jesus,
personally. He took out a hit on Him. Joseph took his family
temporarily to another country to avoid His murder. There is no record
that they ever became Egyptians or sought assistance from the Egyptian
government. When that personal, individual threat had passed, they
returned to their homeland, and resumed their lives as Jews living under
Roman rule. This was a temporary, individual escape from a temporary
individual risk. They didn't stay in Egypt, and there is no record that
Joseph ever made a pipe bomb to kill Egyptian citizens.

It goes beyond that. Given that by then, Egypt and Judea were both part of the Roman Empire, travel and relocation between the two was already permitted. Joseph, Mary, and Jesus running to Egypt would be much more like a family fleeing Deerbornistan by moving to Texas than like leaving one nation and moving to another (in modern terms, neither analogy is very precise).

Further, and as noted above, this was one family, not thousands, and they supported themselves - Rome didn't really have the concept of a "social safety net."

To call the two the same at all is pretty ridiculous. And, even where the two match up, is still spurious, because the debate today is not over what Christians should do about particular refugees or refugee families, but what the various Nation-States should do about the crisis in general.

Poppin' Fresh's hatred for teh Donald is getting Epic. And hysterical. In writing about a CBS poll that shows Americans not liking Trump's call to stop importing Muzzies -- wonder if CBS actually took one, or just cribbed from NBC? -- he even brings up "quasi-Trump proposals."

So Trump now has to stand behind the pathetic bullshit his opponents make up about him?

Nice going, Ed.

Kentucky Senator Rand Paul will almost certainly fail to qualify for the primetime stage at next Tuesday's fifth Republican primary debate, according to an analysis of poll data conducted by Bloomberg. Paul has been included in all four of the main presidential debates to this point in the campaign.

To qualify for the CNN-sponsored primetime debate, candidates must average at least 3.5 percent support nationally or 4 percent in either Iowa or New Hampshire, based on major polls conducted between Oct. 29 and Dec. 13.

This is one of those in-your-face moments when the powers that be just tell the citizenry to fuck off, because we have no rights, and that quaint document once known as the Constitution is now meaningless. We have only "licenses" and "privileges" granted by favor of the corrupt State.

Once you understand that "conservatism" is a scam that these people use to make money you'll understand most of what animates them.

For the most part "conservatism" is a scam that's used by politicians and "professional" commentators use to gain power and make money.

There is actually very little real world conservatism being practiced or advanced politically.

Sure there are pockets of sanity but those are outliers.

We inhabit a world created and shaped by the progressive/Marxist movement starting in the early 20th century and with very few exceptions, the ratchet has been moving leftward.

331 If I am reading the headlines right, the SB attack could have been prevented if the government would have more closely monitored online speech.

And we'll need more monitoring as we bring in more Muslims. More monitoring or more attacks: pick one. I graciously reject those options.

You've got to see Aunt Esther Obama's rap video. from what I've seen of it essentially it's telling "kids" to go to college so they can fly in jets and throw around money. Because that's what an education is for.

So is/was funneling weapons to ISIS and Al Qaeda.

So is opening the borders.

So is....

You get the idea.

342 "One of the first things I'd do in terms of executive order, if I win, will be to sign strong, strong statement that would go out to the country, out to the world, anybody killing policeman police woman, police officer, anybody killing police officer, the death penalty is going to happen," Trump said.

It's difficult to appreciate just how stupid this statement is, on so many levels. What an embarrassment.

344 Hillary's eyeballs...
don't focus on the same point in her head.

But that's OK,
I'd rather have a chameleon for president instead,

Hillary's eyeballs...
Point in different directions as they sit in her face
But it's OK with me
If they always focus different-ly

[gentle pensive guitar riff]

Nestor Kirchner, Peter Falk and Sandy Duncan
All show how it can be done
And we can show how it can be
And be strabismic just like Hillary!

[chorus]

345 Christmas cookies. Another pet peeve. Let's fill a bowl full of sugar, throw some flour and egg on top, roll it out, bake it, throw some more colored sugar on top and give it away.

What sort of commie lover are you? My wife spends three days baking about 110 dozen cookies, several dozen Buckeyes, and nut rolls. We give most away but Christmas cookies are tradition. Begone to the barrel with you!!! Heretic!!!

346 Vic has never barreled before. Vic, please see a doctor.

Vic built the Barrel. It was a benevolent container then, until they got separated during the Deluge. It hasn't quite been right since.

352 187 Loring Wirbel, board member of the American Civil Liberties Unions Colorado chapter and co-chair of the ACLUs Colorado Springs chapter, called for supporters of GOP presidential hopeful Donald Trump to be shot before they vote for the billionaire businessman.

Comparing Trump to Nazi propagandist Joseph Goebbels, Wirbel wrote in his Facebook page:

The thing is, we have to really reach out to those who might consider voting for Trump and say, This is Goebbels. This is the final solution. If you are voting for him I will have to shoot you before election day. Theyre not going to listen to reason, so when justice is gone, theres always force, as Laurie would say.
