>>>Johnson changed the name of the Hulk's comic book alter ego, Dr. Bruce Banner, to Dr. David Banner for the TV series ... According to both Stan Lee and Lou Ferrigno, it was also changed because CBS thought the name Bruce sounded "too gay-ish", a rationale that Ferrigno thought was "the most absurd, ridiculous thing I'd ever heard".

Good Morning Morons. Today is Sunday, November 15, 2015. On this day in 1959 the murders of the Clutter Family in Holcomb, Kansas took place, which inspired Truman Capote's supposedly non-fiction book In Cold Blood. It was later determined that he made up a bunch of stuff in the book. The murderers, Richard Eugene "Dick" Hickock and Perry Edward Smith were executed by hanging on April 14, 1965.

2 in every 100 (2%) of refugees ISIS Two in every 100 Syrian migrants smuggled into Europe are Islamic State-trained fanatics, David Cameron was warned yesterday. Lebanese education minister Elias Bousaab, who met the Prime Minister during his lightning visit to the region, said the extremist group is sending trained jihadists 'under cover' to attack targets in the West. If true, it could mean up to 400 of the 20,000 refugees Britain has promised to accept by 2020 have been radicalised. http://dailym.ai/1Kjlo75 Posted by: artisanal 'ette at November 15, 2015 06:20 AM (qCMvj) 26

Meanwhile, for the fourteen years this shit has been going on in this country, Washington DC has remained relatively untouched, predominately because of the passengers on flight 93. This was an interesting story. Another of those People Are Starting To Fight Back! City Council Removes Veteran Memorial, So Voters Respond by Removing Something Of Theirs http://bit.ly/1WTGGUZ truly amazing = justice This is awesome! It's exactly what should be done across the nation. A city council in Knoxville, Iowa bowed to pressure from an atheist to remove a veteran's memorial that depicted a cross as a buried soldier's headstone. They caved and had it removed. The Christian majority of that city had placed 2,000 crosses all over town. The day after the spineless council had the memorial removed, the good citizens of Knoxville removed them in an election. Two were voted out -- they only got 15% of the vote. Breitbart points out: Based on the complaint of a single citizen of Knoxville, Iowa, the anti-Christian group Americans United for Separation of Church and State swooped down on the city with a threatening letter, demanding that the town council remove a temporary display to veterans that had been placed in the city's Young Park. Because the display consisted of a silhouette of a kneeling soldier and a cross, the anti-Christian group claimed that the cross violated the separation of church and state and that it amounted to the city endorsing Christianity. weenie said this Town mayor Brian Hatch had defended the council vote, saying that no one really wanted to remove the display but that the city needed to avoid a costly court fight over the situation, especially since it was put in the city park without express permission of the city in the first place. this is how they win, lawyers, organized groups and money The town fought back. I was watching CNN a bit this morning, and the French Senator Nathalie Goulet was on, live. Her twitter description says this: I -heart- Nesfeh Jahan Senator vice-chairwoman of the foreign affairs committee, head of the investigation committee on jihadism, head of France-GCC friendship group I couldn't believe what I was hearing. She acknowledged that they (the French) were ashamed to call the Islamic extremists out by name, and the Salafists, and now they were not. That it was a mistake to not call them out before. She said if you cannot define the enemy, you can not fight them... (sound familiar?) [b[She said the imams in mosques were the root of the problem! And she said they need to kick out all of these foreigners, foreign enemies, like the imams! The CNN talking empty head pushed her (I don't think she liked what she heard because in a not-so-subtle way, it smashed the obama and the democrat talking points all to heck, so she asked her to clarify, asking her about "citizens" of France being thrown out of the country. The Senators said, no, not citizens. The foreigners... She said they needed better information gathering, databases, etc. and better intelligence. The other critical thing she said is they have to figure out why/how that many of the converts to muslim were Christians. I think she said 40% of them were Christian converts. I don't get that either. The Blaze had a snippet on her from a previous interview, too, which relates. http://bit.ly/20TL5a7 Posted by: artisanal 'ette at November 15, 2015 06:44 AM (qCMvj) Posted by: J.J. You know, it occurred to me that the refugee migration is an opportunity for the Israelis to do some house cleaning. I am certain that the Israeli security services have hundreds or thousands of individuals under surveillance but they do not imprison them because of various laws. What if they were to sneak into their homes, drug the entire family and then drop them off with Syrian passports in Greece? Who would believe them when they say that I went to sleep in my bed in Ramadi or Bethlehem or wherever and I woke up on this beach on a Greek Island?
In the mean time, Israel could accept Syrian Christians to move into the empty houses. In fact, if all the Christians were evacuated from Syria, France would have one less argument against using their "Force du Frappe" in response to acts of war by an entity claiming to be a legitimate country and exercising effective control over more territory than some countries. ______________________ Hillary said last night that the U.S. should accept 65,000 Syrian refugees, and that they should be vetted. LOL. Does she really think the French didn't "vet" their Syrian refugees? They were vetted, and look what happened. Anyway, as Obama's hand-picked FBI and CIA directors have already admitted, there is no way to vet these so-called refugees. You basically just have to take their word for whatever they claim, cross your fingers and hope for the best. Which is fine for people like Hillary and Obama and Kerry, with 24/7 security and millions of dollars to protect them, but it does squat for the rest of us. They are accustomed to not having weapons and bowing down to the leadership. Posted by: Vic-we have no party at November 15, 2015 07:36 AM (t2KH5) Goes to a question of national character. Traditionally, Americans were always self-reliant, and it doesn't get more self-reliant than defending your home and family with your own firearms, while Europeans were dependent on the government for protection. I personally have an ethnic cleansing sort of theory that we traditionally attracted people from all over the world who wanted to achieve and who didn't want to be old what to do, and that this is what made us great. The change in the composition of the immigrant populations means that isn't so true any more. And, of course, there was one large population that was brought here against their wills, and they were the ones who got captured and sold by other tribes and Arabs, and many of them have had a hard time with the self-reliance ethos. As the Bill Murray speech in Stripes said,We're Americans, with a capital 'A', huh? You know what that means? Do ya? That means that our forefathers were kicked out of every decent country in the world. We are the wretched refuse. We're the underdog. We're mutts! The part of the debate I did see, Bernie was telling how there would be free college for everyone!!!!
When the common tater said something like "How will the states pay for this? Sixteen of them are running on a deficit now?" Bernie said something like. The healthy states will provide and if the other ones can't, they will be punished! They went to another setup question. I switched the channel. Tim Ramadan (an alias) of Raqqa is Being Slaughtered Silently told Breitbart News he was in an Internet cafe in the ISIS-controlled city of Deir ez-Zor when he became aware of the conversation between the two men.
Ramadan said the jihadi, who was referred to as "Abu Ibrahim Belgian," was discussing plans to infiltrate France with two different waves of combatants. "Two will be sent this month (February 2015) and two in May," Ramadan recalls the militant saying, adding that they had been ordered to do so by an unnamed "commander." ... breitbart is doing some excellent reporting the story I linked the other day, yesterday?, about them being undercover in England, at an Islam hate-Westerners fest while the bombs were going off is powerful Posted by: artisanal 'ette at November 15, 2015 08:10 AM (qCMvj) 164

Treason:
1.the offense of acting to overthrow one's government or to harm or kill its sovereign. "in modern democracies the people's will is in theory sovereign" Given these definitions and the events in France it is an act of treason to willingly bring tens of thousands of potential terrorists, with a stated intention of some to harm the sovereign and bring down the government, into this country. Obama will do anything to destroy/disrupt/degrade traditional America. And he will deliberately lie about his motives, with all the regular PC BS he has practiced since choom gang days.
His family was anti-American socialist/commie, with their good pal Frank Marshall Davis being a card carrying Soviet style communist. Obama talks extensively about his relationship with the commie in his book, claiming him as his mentor. Obama's next mentor was Rev. Wright. Obama lied and said he never heard the "God Damn America" rhetoric, but Wright confirmed with O'Reilly that the very foundation of their church is Black Liberation Theology ... the black man as victim of the white (supremacist). So our POTUS still preaches that every white man has KKK DNA. And Obama chose malicious black druggies as his martys ... Trayvon and Brown, and degrades our police. Importing tens of thousands of unvetted Syrian army age youth is consistent with Obama's destructive Cloward-Piven style goals, along with the open borders for cartels to traffic into Chicago and other large cities. Holder had Fast and Furious, and Lynch let HSBC off with a light fine (on shareholders) despite the many people caught money laundering cartel BILLIONS. As the LIV starts to wonder why Obama would import terrorists, it might be helpful to reveal to them who he really is. ... Oh and Jarrett's daddy was also a commie, friends with Obama's commie mentor. That network is still Obama's foundation, and still in operation, as evidenced by everything he does, every lie he tells. 222 Rousey has never been 'hot' and never been unbeatable. It was all promotion . I most disliked the promotion that she would have any chance against a male fighter. I could go to my local MMA training center and pick any of the guys there in her weight class or lower and they would destroy her.
I loved Nick DiPaolo's take: So she's the best fighter alive, man or woman? Let's put her in the ring with a man and find out. Posted by: Oschisms at November 15, 2015 08:55 AM (ZsN9X) 246

A perfect example of "how it's all about me" and my interests ...
So, assuming - as seems probable at this stage - that the Paris outrage was carried out by or for ISIS, was it in any way motivated by a desire to scupper a strong climate agreement at COP21? And so maintain high demand for oil long into the future, together with a high oil price? Let's just say that it could have been a factor, one of several, in the choice of target and of their timing. And of course ISIS was not necessarily acting entirely on its own. While not alleging direct collusion between ISIS and other oil producing nations and companies, it's not hard to see a coincidence of interests. So if that is the case, or even if might be the case, there's an important message in it for us all. The effort to shrink the importance of fossil fuels in the global energy landscape - and oil in particular - just took on a whole new dimension. Seriously whats wrong with showing solidarity with France by a simple symbol?
-- because symbolism won't get the job done. Symbolism doesn't get the seeds planted or the crops harvested. Symbolism doesn't find the cure for cancer, or stop the bleeding. If you want to stand in solidarity with France you start carpet bombing the middle east with never ending B-52 strikes, and then send in 10 million men armed with rifle and bayonet. Two Billion muslim you say? Ok fine, reduce that number by 99 percent and then convert the remainder to Christianity. Posted by: Hayfield Volkovski at November 15, 2015 08:59 AM (2b4/v) 252

That's the thing with the Left, they only want to go to war against things, not people. Like the mayor of the CA town where the American victim was from said yesterday, something like "We must fight hate." No, you cannot fight an emotion that everyone experiences at one time or another, you cannot fight a tactic - terror, nor can you fight weapons - guns. You have to fight people whose hate motivates then to use guns (and explosives, knives, etc.) to terrorize the rest of us. Duh. I can't see how it is possible for Islam to reform itself with the tiny few muslims willing to speak out against its political nature and that, when the fight that is almost certainly coming begins, can you imagine what it is going to take? Fighting a enemy without while the enemy you invited into your house undermines and harasses you at every turn, all the while your leaders are telling you to not blame the enemy in your house because they have nothing whatsoever in common with the enemy you are fighting on the outside of your house trying to break your door down?

"I'm curious how many minutes it took for the politicians to insist that 'this isn't Islam?"
__________________ That's such a load of self-serving BS. Anyone with even a passing knowledge of the quran knows that it teaches over and over that Muslims are superior to non-Muslims (i.e., infidels), that Muslims should avoid associating with non-Muslims, that Muslims have a duty to subjugate and kill infidels, that Muslims who do their duty will be richly rewarded in heaven and become martyrs, that Muslims who do not do their duty will not be entitled to the same heavenly wealth. The reason why western politicians never want to acknowledge what Islam actually teaches its believers is because it raises a whole host of inconvenient and uncomfortable questions for them to address -- questions such as: why are you importing millions of insular foreigners into our societies who view us with contempt and believe that it is their duty to subjugate and kill us? They also have an agenda that is not honest with we the people, and is geared more toward the special interests, especially the chamber that like cheap labor either here or abroad. They go along to get their piece of the great unwashed masses "action".
When the MSM uses "radical extremist" they want to conflate religious jihadists with tea party or evangelicals, but the Cloward Piven style extremists on the left are truly more destructive than the jihadists could ever hope to be. oh wow, another goodie from AmSpec WHEN TRUMP FOUGHT THE RACISTS A 1997 Wall Street Journal story featured his Florida fight against anti-Semitism, racists. ... But there is a much older "old news" story about Trump that has now resurfaced -- a story that paints a highly accurate portrait of the real Donald Trump -- the guy who has no time for racism and anti-Semitism and stood up in public to fight both. ... In other words? In other words, long before he was running for president, there was Donald Trump battling racism and anti-Semitism in Palm Beach society. Using every tool at his disposal. ... This is the same Donald Trump who employs hundreds of Hispanics in the Trump Organization at its various properties across America and around the globe. Yet here comes the utterly predictable charge of racism from deportracism.com One has to ask the obvious. Who are the real racists here? The Democratic Party, as we have noted in this space repeatedly, has a long and disgraceful history of out and out racism. Right from the beginning of its history, what became the American Left was on-record supporting slavery, segregation, lynching and, as noted by historians, used the Ku Klux Klan as the military arm of the party to enforce its racism. It was Franklin Roosevelt who issued the infamous Executive Order 9066 that rounded up Japanese-Americans -- which is to say legal American citizens -- and sent them to internment camps merely because of their race. When a Japanese-American fought the internment in the Supreme Court in Korematsu v. United States, six of FDR's liberal court appointees upheld the racist executive order. The opinion, in fact, was written by Justice Hugo Black -- who held a "golden passport," a lifetime membership, in the Ku Klux Klan. the whole piece is worth a read Love the part where ...when Mr. Trump's lawyer sent members of the town council a copy of the film "Guess Who's Coming to Dinner," a film that deals with upper-class racism. http://spectator.org/articles/64643/when-trump-fought-racists Posted by: artisanal 'ette at November 15, 2015 12:29 PM (qCMvj) 306

One big helping of 'stupid' ...
A Burnsville DFLer's campaign for the state House abruptly ended Sunday morning within hours of him posting on social media that ISIS "isn't necessarily evil" and is "made up of people doing what they think is best for their community." The Twitter posting Saturday by Dan Kimmel, coming as the world's emotions remain raw from Friday's terror attacks on Paris, brought swift rebuke from others on Twitter. House Minority Leader Paul Thissen, DFL-Minneapolis, called for Kimmel to give up his campaign. "I'm folding up the campaign tent," Kimmel told the Star Tribune. He later issued a written apology and called his tweet "stupid," adding that it's probably best for him to "shut up" for the time being.
