Good Morning Morons. Today is Thursday, November 12, 2015. On this day in 1927 Leon Trotsky was expelled from the Soviet Communist Party, leaving Joseph Stalin in undisputed control of the Soviet Union. He was later executed by agents of Joe Stalin in Mexico.

Looks like Obama is continuing his illegal plan to close GITMO and move the prisoners to US soil. Well, impeachment is off the table, government defunding is off the table, and Obama can do any damn thing he wants because we have no opposition Party. And now he has added SC to a possible State to house these vermin. Nikki Haley has publically told him she will not allow these people in SC. I would love to see her dispatch State Marshalls to arrest Obama's goons. http://fxn.ws/1LbifGA Posted by: Vic-we have no party at November 12, 2015 06:26 AM (t2KH5) 4
In fact he just held the biggest release of federal prisoners in US history when he let go 6,000 federal inmates. Probably 99% of them will be committing crimes within a month and most will eventually make it back to jail.

And Fox contributor who is profiting from this massive release has a new term for Obama's pen and phone.
On October 30th, the Justice Department will begin releasing 6,000 inmates early from prisons around the country as part of a bipartisan effort that comes with sweeping new sentencing guidelines for nonviolent drug crimes. So Obama's pen and phone is now a bipartisan effort eh? http://fxn.ws/20OaSj Posted by: Vic-we have no party at November 12, 2015 06:27 AM (t2KH5) 6

The US Senate would not even bring it to the floor to vote. 97 out of 97 Senators voted against bringing it to the floor. The real purpose of Kyoto was to break the US economy.

The US court of appeals for the 5th district has given Obama another defeat on his illegal amnesty crap. But like all the rest of the rulings he will simply ignore it. These rulings have no impact on someone who flaunts the law if the court does not enforce them. It is far past time for some of the criminals in ths administration be sent to jail for criminal contempt.

Remember pre 2011 if you put in a really specific query you could find some obscure thing on the web that was exactly what you wanted? Can't even manage a meaningless fake vote: Senate Republicans are divided over how far to go with an ObamaCare repeal bill that they plan to send to the presidents desk. Senate GOP leaders have told their members they will repeal as much of the 2010 healthcare reform law as possible, BUT some Republicans are balking at a proposal to repeal the expansion of Medicaid. Sen. Shelley Moore Capito [R-West Virginia] said "I am very concerned about the 160,000 people who had Medicaid expansion in my state. I have difficulty with that being included." "I respect the decision of our legislator and our governor on Medicaid expansion," said Sen. Steve Daines (R-Montana) "Im one who respects their rights and voices." Sen. I do apologize for harshing your mellow this morning, but sometimes I need to get the vitriol out of the way first thing. I really do come off as the second coming of Robespierre, don't I?You know, it's a funny thing about "unplugging," and I wonder if it contributes to some of the problems we find ourselves in. It's very easy - seductive, even -to be a LIV and presume that our little corner of the world will go on as it does. But the problem with that is that our "betters" continue down their path, making our lives more onerous and our tax burden more unsustainable. It's incumbent on all of us to be plugged in, to know what's being done behind our backs. And yet. . .your advice is sensible. I don't know how people like Mark Levin or Ann Barnhardt can keep from killing themselves, being neck-deep in the sewage that is the modern world.Thank you for your kind thoughts about The Director's Cut. Ithaca College is where rich kids who are to stupid to get into Cornell go. Two things: Ithaca (the city, not the college) was the site of the Wharton studio, which produced a lovely little serial called "Beatrix Fairfax," named after the newspaper advice column. In it, each week Beatrix would get a letter requiring her help as well as that of her sidekick, gee-whiz reporter Jimmy Barton. Sometimes the problem was of a lovelorn nature; other times, it was criminal. But the series was shot in Ithaca and gives a nice little glimpse into the place in 1916. If you're interested, you can see episodes on YouTube. Remembering the discussion we had yesterday about grads from Harvard or Yale always bringing up their alma maters, I recall a fellow I know who was a Cornell grad and always managed to bring that up into conversation before I finally told him, "Cornell's the ITT Tech of the Ivy League." I think Ferguson proved to the SJWs that the governor and other authorities down there are spineless, so they're taking advantage of it. As I said last night, it's a pity that the more sensible students don't simply surround the SJWs and mock the special snowflakes. I think that if that caught on and the "cool" thing became jeering at them as crybullies, the whole thing would collapse. But the sensible ones are afraid or apathetic or just not organized. "I feel like across Missouri, parents of high school seniors are ripping

Consider the case of Mike "Gentle Giant" Brown, after his new career as an aspiring rapper and felony-strong-arm-robbery artiste was tragically cut short by racist white police who fatally shot him in the back as he was running away after having dindu nuffins, using special racist white bullets that left no entry wounds in his back. His loudly and conspicuously grieving family (who had shown little real interest in him while he was actually, y'know, alive) said that the late Mike had been "going to university to study engineering". Which turned out to be his having expressed a vague verbal interest in maybe one day applying to the shady local unaccredited fast-buck trade school for a quickie certificate course as an HVAC tech. (Not to crap down the necks of HVAC techs, as most of us like being at a comfortable temperature, but this is not what most of us think of as engineering qua engineering, nor is such a school a university qua university.) But at today's Miz-zoo campus? Mike Brown would fit right in! You can be sure there are legions of new-generation Mike Browns all over the state who are getting ready with their applications. How is it possible to actually implement a "no freebies" policy when the black-robed radicals will instantly strike down any such policy? In one of the final gasps of sanity in Commiefornia some years ago, the state's voters passed Prop 187 to shut off the flow of freebies to illegals. It never even had a chance to take effect before a federal judge imperiously waved a hand from the bench and nullified it. Christian Consumer Group Launches 'BUYcott' in Time For Holiday Shopping Season (CNSNews.com) -- Faith Driven Consumer, a Christian organization that rates businesses and brands according to their embrace of Christians and their values, has launched a new campaign to allow shoppers to have a voice during the Christmas gift-buying season. "ChristmasBUYcott.com builds on last week's launch of the 2016 Faith Equality Index," a press release announcing the campaign stated. "The Faith Equality Index annually rates, on a 100-point scale, how well brands acknowledge Faith Driven Consumers (FDCs) by welcoming, embracing, and celebrating them." The index ranks corporations and businesses on a scale from 0 to 100 on a wide range of "scorecard" issues, ranging from using the word "Christmas" in its advertising, to public support from legislative, judicial and/or regulatory protections for religious liberty and incorporating Christianity as a recognized category of corporate diversity. Sen. Bernie Sanders is the overwhelming favorite of American humanists in the 2016 presidential race, according to results of a poll released Tuesday by the Center for Freethought Equality. The CFE is a lobbying organization associated with the American Humanist Association. The AHA describes humanists as individuals who do not have theistic or other supernatural beliefs, and believe the greater good of humanity can be achieved through ethical behavior. According to the online poll conducted by SurveyMonkey, Sanders has the backing of 73 percent of humanists surveyed. Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is second with 21 percent. Donald Trump is the most-popular Republican among humanists, but he has the backing only about two percent. www.examiner.com/article/humanists-back-bernie-sanders-poll-says You know what this means. Europe Slaps Discriminatory Labels on Israeli Products Another ominous inroad for hate. It's official: the European Union will be sending out guidelines to all 28 of its member states on how to label settlement products from Israel. The move has been in the works for a while. In September the European Parliament voted 525-70 in favor of it. Israeli settlement products have been excluded from EU trade preferences since 2004. This latest move, though, is something new. Once it comes into effect, shoppers in any EU supermarket will see certain products labeled "Made in the West Bank" (Israeli settlement) or "Made in the Golan" (Israeli settlement). They won't see such labels on products from any other of the world's 200 territories that are under dispute. Not, for example, Turkish products from Northern Cyprus. Not Chinese products from Tibet. pjmedia Posted by: artisanal 'ette at November 12, 2015 08:45 AM (qCMvj) 315

Well, so much for Carson: Ben Carson is blasting fellow Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump's immigration proposals as outside the mainstream and impractical. "I think they hurt Donald Trump in the long run," Carson said in an interview with the Washington Examiner published Thursday, referring to Trump's deportation plans. One more thing, don't worship the first supernatural being who shows up claiming to be the Messiah, that will be Satan - pretending to be him. Agreed. I look upon Christianity as a subset of Judaism. Using 1984 as a training manual, wasn't a mistake.
It was done on purpose. Orwell was so insightful and able to express the core of what was happening with his creation of it and Animal Farm that we are only now understanding how fully the analogies he used applied so well. Orwell was a visionary and could see into the future how the embryo radicals would grow and evolve from their current actions (of the '30's and '40's) into what they are now in a way that still allows us to understand and predict why and how they will modify their behavior. . . . .This is the part that certain States and Cities use to give ID's to Illegals. They used this crap when we used to live in CT. They Let Cities give ID's to illegals so they would come out of the shadows and be able to cash checks at banks and not have to use those check cashing services according to the SJW's. Also they claimed it would make illegals feel safe enough from deportation to go and buy auto insurance and they wouldn't drive around uninsured. All it does is allow them to vote IMO, at least the ones who really want to. CT has an ID requirement to vote, and the Liberals wanted a way to get around that law for illegals. IIRC Stamford and one or two other Cities even lets them vote in local elections. Posted by: The Great White Scotsman at November 12, 2015 09:13 AM (iONHu) 394

The number of rapes has increased 20 percent in Denver this year. Robberies are up 13 percent, aggravated assaults are up 12 percent, property crimes are up 5 percent, and total crimes have increased 6 percent. Of course, this could be due to being a sanctuary city accepting all sorts of unaccompanied "minors" beginning last summer. Who knows? Wonder if anyone in state government cares to find out the cause(s)? Americanthinker.com Posted by: Lizzy at November 12, 2015 09:21 AM (NOIQH) 404

"Carson is desperately needed to clean up the VA."
The way to clean up the VA is to shut it down and hand the vets generously sized vouchers in its place. (At current funding levels that would work out to about $85K/vet/year. So those would be big vouchers!) Carson's big brainstorm on government reform is to make the Department of Education into a centralized monitor to keep tabs on campus radicalism. Yeah, as though THAT wouldn't be a wet dream for the institutional left once they got control of it. As with the VA, the solution to the DeptEd is not to reform it but to abolish it. Campus radicalism will largely dry up and blow away once the lavish federal subsidization of the campuses is removed. Posted by: torquewrench at November 12, 2015 09:39 AM (noWW6) 455

"Our tax code encourages poor people not to work. No shit, so does every
other government program. In effect, we subsidize poverty." Vic, this last year my wife and I, who both work very hard, struggled financially. I had a career ending change in my life thanks to uncontrollable circumstances, and had to start a new career making 1/3 of what I used to. My wife was having a heck of a time finding a job that didn't require her to have a 4 year degree despite her years of experience working for accountants. We were paying out of pocket for health insurance and taking care of 3 kids on less than $40k a year in Maryland, of all states. We fit into the the poverty line. I am just now finishing my 4 year degree (in a field that will, no doubt, get me jobs that pay more), and we were on WIC and food stamps. My wife kept applying for jobs, despite the fact that she was working a commission-based job (that paid shit, really) and also owns a horse stables (that doesn't make any money). So we kept trudging along for the last few months on public subsidies with help from family so that we could work because child care is too damn expensive (would cost us around $800 a week for our two youngest). We used the help because we needed it, and we won't need after Monday because she was offered a job. So the programs aren't there to encourage it. The problem is our culture encourages entitlement and getting the free stuff cuz it's free. So if you want a change, make sure your kids know that there's help when you need it, but to rely on no one but themselves. Posted by: Dan in Maryland at November 12, 2015 09:42 AM (nxZzo) 462

There are already fines and penalties that don't get enforced. Just identifying illegals to the employer and thus requiring rehires will get expensive enough to change their behavior. Yet, presented with the opportunity that university represents, they create discord and division needlessly, and pointlessly, too ignorant even to understand what they do. Where exactly does LEARNING fit into the equation? Why are these imbeciles even AT university?
