FBI? They're welcome in DC.

I think we need to make them more aware of the moral hazard they've created. This is basically the Nullification Crisis all over again, except it hasn't reached crisis point yet. Our system works on precedent. If states and localities can vacate one Federal law, they can vacate any Federal law of equal or lesser value. Basically, anything below Constitution-level could be nullified if the Sanctuary Cities are allowed to stand

The Federal Government could be de-fanged quite quickly by a few courageous governors telling it "you've made your law, now try to enforce it."

The girls never have tentacles, that would be counter-Freudian. Shoot a recent anime Monster Musume had a fellow having to live with a goodly portion of the old Monster Manual (lamia, centaur, harpy, mermaid, slime, drider) and none of them had tentacles, or boy parts for that matter. Definitely a lot of girl parts, and the cuteness factor was false advertising in some cases!

Of course that story is a case of not-evil-just-different run amok in hormones... I would have been more entertained if the girls had been less, well, monstrous. (Gate had it right.

I think you might be on to something. There's a Wyeth museum in my neck of the woods. NC - I guess because of the medium he used -- has a darker more somber look, but strong technical skills.

While the next generations used a lighter medium and there's more vibrance to the paintings. Night and day difference when you see the different generations paintings mere feet apart.

Yes, but which combination? Right now, I've coupled a Cub Cadet 50" RZT zero turn to an aluminum dump box Peco with a 6.5 HP blower motor. All custom, because the Peco was built for a much larger mower.

I still have to get off the seat to dump the box, so it's not perfected yet.

Hiring the illegals is just like cheating. I've got a guy once a week to blow out the flower beds and get where the zero turn can't go, but the bulk of the leaves from probably a hundred trees makes the challenge worth taking.

the city is high in commerce/revenue, but unfortunately also high in parasites and lawyers . .

With the electricity off all night long because the new "green, renewable" baseload power generation can't actually handle baseload. And because that "green" power is located in places very very far from the inner city, with plenty to go wrong along the way. (Round here we once had power plants *in* the inner city, but "environmental justice" demanded their closure.)

And with the stores empty because the EBT went down, the stores were immediately looted, and the restocking never happened because the owners realized it would all just get looted again. To say nothing of truck drivers refusing the manifest after realizing the destination. Or truckers who can't get fuel.

Okay. That one makes sense to me because in my experience there is no spoiled, rich princess like a Latina princess.
But the stereotypical mimada (spoiled darling) is always white --- and very conscious of it. You can't cast a Mexican mestiza or Caribbean mulata and have it work for a Latin audience.

Eh. Those things don't bother the lily-white, Anglo producers in Hollywood with their PC belief in an "Hispanic race."
Remember the movie "Spanglish," where they cast the 100% Euro-white Spaniard Paz Vega as the poor Mexican housekeeper!

It's all soooooo confusing.

Here's the thing. I thought the US would colonise Iraq just like other western powers have, and impose its culture by force irf necessary, which will be good for the region and the whole world. If you can't do that, then we're actually in a very scary place. We see the alternative right now, Saudi Arabia teaching the world about "Human rights".

If the world's most powerful nation can't impose its values, that is where the slide into chaos begins.
