68 So speaking of rapey men.

I've been thinking about that dad who took the funny homecoming picture with his daughter's date. You know, the one all the feminists immediately declared The Worst Thing Ever.

So, here's what I don't understand. Feminists act like every man you meet is just waiting to rape you. Actually they act like most of the men you've slept with have already raped you, really. It's just one big rapey world full of rapist.

In that world view, why would it be wrong for someone to try to protect their daughter from being with a rapey mcrapester? If all men are really rapists, dads should be doing a lot more than jokingly threatening their daughter's boyfriends. They should be takikng young men out to the field and shooting them.

But somehow any effort to protect women from rapists is anti woman.

These things do not make sense together.

76 This was posted in the last thread regarding the mistake Dubya made in telling people after 9/11 that all they needed to do was shop, when we were all ready to do whatever we could to help the cause:

"FDR did understand the theatre of it all just like Reagan. Rounding up pots to melt down for scrap was a joke. It made 0 impact on the war. The news reals of it made people feel like they could contribute though.
Posted by: bestie21 at October 20, 2015 09:23 AM (vHzZa)

That's one reason environmentalism has made such headway - recycling doesn't really have much impact on the planet at all, but it makes people feel good to separate out the glass bottles and the cardboard from the rest of their trash. They feel like they're contributing to something positive, being part of something bigger than themselves. Hell, I felt the same way when I was 8 and my friends and I picked up trash that was strewn around in the park and put it in the trashcan. We was helping Smokey the Bear and the Owl that told us not to pollute. We were fighting litterbugs!

That's the built-in advantage of the Left. Low taxes and Leave Me the Hell Alone doesn't inspire people like being a part of some great cause does, particularly in a secular age. The Left tsks tsks about the Crusades, but has the Crusader mentality.

86 EPA soldiers on: After 9/11, EPA was tasked with establishing a network of beta radiation monitors. Hundred and thirty-some, spread across the country, no staffing required, centralized reporting. Today it has been revealed that 99 of them are turned off. Interference. They don't work.

When were they planning to tell us?

Don't worry though. They state that their gamma detectors are just fine.

Nothing about the Left makes sense. They're insane. They've rejected reason and embraced emotion. More particularly, they've embraced the emotion of "Daddy, I hate you!" and decided to tear down all of Western Civilization in their temper tantrum. They believe everything will be sunshine and roses when they've torn down everything that works and replaced it with their horse shit.

You have to look at their *goals* to see these are not contradictory at all:

--- Making them proud sluts (with easy-peasey abortions, bc, etc.) makes them less likely to form lasting relationships, marry, form a stable family.

--- Demonizing men and making women see them all as rapists again makes them less likely to form stable relationships, marriage, stable family, etc.

End result: A nation of dependent, controllable Julias.

This really explains it all:

95 It kills me that we always seem to have enough money to do shit that harms this country - like importing hundreds of thousands of potential jihadi terrorists, or paying for the costs of educating illegal invaders, or covering the costs of the crimes that illegal criminals get away with everday, or to give absolutely undeserved pay raises to government bureaucrats and government unions - but we never have enough money to fulfill the explicit promises made the citizenry of this country, namely the veterans or even simple COLA increases for seniors.

Our government has become just a giant organized criminal enterprise that benefits - basically itself and a tiny group of criminal benefactors.

And that's just the first in my looooong list.

We get glimpses of the reality of what our country has become, but the glimpses are fleeting. We still hear the "the greatest country in the world", "land of opportunity", and other, catch phrases, and we quickly lose sight of the truth. Years ago, those phrases were kinda true. Our parents might have know times when they were predominantly true. But for years, this country's greatness has been waning.

People don''t principally seek to come here anymore strictly for the opportunity, I don''t think. They seek to come here because we pay for them to come here and we pay for them to stay here and even though the greatness is gone, it's still better than the more corrupt shit holes they came from where they weren't paid in free shit.

This illusion will likely continue for a long time yet. We and our children will still be told what a great country this is and our government will keep borrowing vast sums of money - or just printing it - to pay to keep up the illusion.

Our schools will still suck. Our kids will continue to be indoctrinated into utopian ideology that has never worked and will never work in the future. And the oligarchy will continue to thrive. And just like as it is today in reality - the burgeoning poverty and the hunger continue to be hidden from view.

I believe in my heart that this is what Rome was like. Bread and circuses. The end had already come, but the quivering death throes continued to give the illusion of life.

172 I love Canada, but WTH?

Trudeau? The guy is a lightweight. I suspect Obama sent teams of campaign operatives to Canada to sway that election.

I also suspect they also had thousands of illegal immigrants voting without proper documentation in multiple locations.

Then again, Quebec couldn't support a hockey team, so there is a strong whiff of stupid every now and then in the Great White North.

I hope Canada recovers. I hope Harper sticks around and engineers a Conservative comeback.

175 So Trump indeed WAS talking about a 9/11 style event a year before 9/11.

The establishment goons keep talking of how Trump has peaked ... that he is riding on name recognition and we ignoramuses are just angry loons. When the field consolidates, Trump will stay at his 27%, as serious people move to serious candidates.

But even if these establishment candidates were smart and serious, what about their duplicity and donor class owners? Perhaps 27% is a floor, not a ceiling for Trump.

The Donald started with name recognition and flair, and took on some body blows from a lot of FOX talking heads, not to mention the MSM. Now many are saying he is maturing as a candidate, and is not afraid to poke even the Bush worshiper and their "he kept us safe" style mantra.

Trump may be rising to the people's call, while other candidates rework their messaging to please their donor class owners. Trump may be ascending in polls, and even in his own stature. He will have to rise above establishment hate, then take on the MSM/Hillary machine. Even Bruce Willis wore a "Make America Great Again" hat. Yippie Ki-Yay ...

The problem in Europe now is that the common people are the only ones suffering from the effects of massive muslim invasion facilitated by their Eurotard betters-

who get to blithely float above it all, protected by their wealth, position, and status.

So, nothing will change.

We'll know these groups are serious, and I suspect that it will be sooner rather than later-

when they not only protest the invaders, which can be labeled as racist by their betters and thus ignored,

but take direct action against the Eurotards and progtards who are purposely destroying their countries and the future of their children and grandchildren.

I don't recommend it and don't support violence cuz I believe the ballot box is a better solution.

But, the Eurotard elites are so far isolated from the common men and women of Europe-

that it will take the Mussolini solution enacted against them to get their notice.

Then things will change and change quickly.

And it's not like these things don't have precedence in Europe.

We're in for a relatively to absolutely horrible world for the next decade or two,

Thanks 52%!

185 So the new Star Wars trailer came out. Looks like the main protagonists are a white woman and a black man.

Twitter sphere mocked the casting by using the exact same quotes SJW use to complain about the lack of diversity casting

They mockingly called the casting racist and white genocide. They were just using the same quotes others use when complaining about the lack of diversity in Hollywood

Anyway, of course the majority of people thought they were serious. Nypost even has a story complaining about white racists complaining about casting

I understand the point they were trying to make but snark is only amusing to the person in on the joke. Just not sure this is the best tactic to take. They are using it as actual proof of serious racism

Posted by: Misanthropic Humanitarian at October 20, 2015 10:43 AM (9mTYi)

Minority status doesn't mean anything to them except as a handy bludgeon with which to continue breaking apart Western Civilization. It's a cheap and easy way for an intellectually and physically lazy bunch of wannabe aristocrats to whip up an unreasoning and violent mob to carry out their works of destruction for them.

As soon as the tools are done being useful to them, they go off to the gulags with all the rest.

Posted by: Cato the Rebel Without a Party at October 20, 2015 10:47 AM (HalrA)

187 Reality is utterly alien to them. By rejecting reason, they've rejected everything that can be reasoned, and everything based in truth. All that leaves them is lies and bullshit. They live in unreality. Literally the exact opposite of the world as we see it.

Yep. There seems to be more ways to indulge their fantasies about life than I ever thought imaginable, and I have a pretty good imagination. We hear about this intellectual decay every day and seem powerless to do anything to stop it. Perhaps it's just that we have the means to hear about it and that the denial of reality has always been around. OTOH, there seems to be a lot more of it in general. Neither possibility is very good for us as a species.

I find myself increasingly at a loss to even attempt to understand what I see going on around me in the news and in politics. It appears that the whole world has gone absolutely, undeniably, bugfuck crazy in the last ten years or so. So many idiotic ideas that would've gotten you laughed out of the bar just a generation ago are now embraced and even made into law.

A few Morons have talked about unplugging completely and I'm starting to see value in that too. When people seem immune to reason and the truth, what's the point of wasting time trying to convince them otherwise? I'll talk about things with the people I already know, but as for everyone else, it seems as though I should just leave them alone. This saddens me.

I've said before that I wished I could be around to see the return of Jesus. Little did I realize what else that wish would contain.

But hopefully no parent will dress their kids up in that and allow them to run around at night. Just asking for tragedy! Every year some kid gets run over, usually because the dumbass parent said "OK run across the street now!" while the kid is wearing a vision-restricting mask and a dark costume.

We tend to see the Left as monolithic but they really aren't. The leaders of the left actually do realize their base is a bunch of retards "easily led", and thugs for the most part. The ones we tend to run across are the footsoldiers, the thugs, and the "megaphones in a leather jacket" types. They aren't steering anything, and you're right, they don't much care where its all headed. The ones doing the planning care very much, however.

Other emails stored in Brennan's non-government account contained the Social Security numbers and personal information of more than a dozen top American intelligence officials, as well as a government letter about the use of "harsh interrogation techniques" on terrorism suspects, according to the hacker.

I'd put Seinfeld down around 593,929,882 when it comes to things that contributed to us going down the sewer. The process of decline started during the Progressive Era and has snowballed since then. In a way, WWII masked the decline, since it pulled the country together like nothing before or since. But it also gave a legitimacy to Big Government and ensured that FDR's "reforms" would remain in place.

One of the things I like about Dita Von Teese (besides the obvious) is that she really lives the elegant lifestyle 24/7, always (in public) dressing like a lady of fashion. She tells the story in one of her books about being on the way to a party - dressed to the nines, natch - and having to stop at a liquor store for a bottle of champagne.

She says that, while she was standing in line, a little boy gaped at her in her finery and tugged on his father's sleeve, saying "Daddy, look at the pretty woman!" The father, Teese says, wouldn't look at her, whether through embarrassment or discomfort, she couldn't say.

1. Start with the failure of 8 health care coops. Collapsed. Thousands of uninsured who may be left paying their medical bills by themselves.

2. Then there's the real reason why 5,000 U.S. troops will remain in A-stan. It has nothing to do with the Taliban. It has EVERYTHING to do with keeping Russia out of A-stan. But no one is talking about it. Russia is waiting for another void to fill.

3. What is the status of the Iranian missile bases in Venezuela? The Iranians started building those ICBM bases in 2010. They should be complete by now. We just learned this week of secret Iranian missile bases in Iran. How come no one in the White House is asking about the ones in Venezuela that can reach the U.S.?

Putting prominent members of the opposition party in prison is not only very difficult and time consuming, it is contrary to the traditions of the United States and the fact that we don't do it is one of the reasons that we have peaceful transitions when power passes to a different party.

On the other hand, nailing the wormy little Democrat partisans who obeyed illegal orders to use the power of the government against citizens who were working for the opposition party, that is A-OK. Leave Barky and Scankles alone. Instead throw dozens of IRS employees in Prison and fire thousands of others and strip them of their pensions. If there is anything that terrifies a government worker it is the prospect of losing their pension.

Follow through with this throughout every government agency, firing government workers for cause and stripping them of their pensions whether for gross misconduct like at the IRS or for overstepping their bounds like at the EPA.

The President could start his day like Stalin going over lists of government workers to be terminated and getting on the phone to browbeat his subordinates to put more names on the lists.

When the government agencies cannot do their work because of the firings, contract out the work to whichever corporations lobby Congress the hardest for the contracts and who promise to deliver the most jobs to the right congressional districts.

In addition to fundamentally changing the way the federal government operates, it will scare enough Democrats to complying with the law the next time some Democrat politician tells them to do something illegal.
