2 Good Morning Morons. Today is Tuesday, September 15, 2015. On this day in 1966 U.S. President Lyndon B. Johnson, responding to a sniper attack by Charles Whitman at the University of Texas at Austin, wrote a letter to Congress urging the enactment of gun control legislation. This is always the way of Democrats. A crackpot shoots some people and they call for more gun control, which has been proven to never work and it only inconveniences honest people. He got his wish in 1968 after Robert Kennedy was shot by a Palestinian Arab with Jordanian citizenship who was never supposed to own a gun to begin with.

5 Obama's "pen and phone" have created a new and totally useless foray into rating colleges in the US. A new department that will only grow over time and begin trying to exert even more government control over colleges. If we had an opposition party they would defund this crap and stop it.

6 Germany has resumed train service to ship the muzzie migrants in from Austria. And this highly biased Fox/AP report is full of shit.

Germany has been the final destination for many refugees trying to escape the violence in their homeland that has them caught between President Bashar Assad's forces and terror groups like ISIS. They have either traveled over land via Turkey and the Balkans or braved the dangerous Mediterranean Sea crossing to Italy or Greece.

These are not refugees from Syria. The bulk of these people are males who have been living in Turkey for a long time and want to go to Germany for free shit. Even the picture they put up showing a family with women and children is BS because these are only a very small minority of the people going into Germany.

7 yaaay.

wanted to watch Trump last night, couldn't getoff the phone. Anyone watch? Any thoughts? I noticed he was just using some cards for notes. Clearly not presidential if he can't speak from a teleprompter.

8 And Obama is admitting 280,000 muzzie migrants from the ME every year already and wants to increase that number. And he is doing that with no approvals from congress even though it is greater than the amount allowed by law. The US already admits more immigrants legally than all the other industrialized nations combined. And that does not count the flood of illegals coming in from South of the border. This is not sustainable.

9 And the commie Pope weighs in with his reason for the "refugee crisis"; the God of money. Well, I guess that is true, but not in the manner he means. These migrants are headed for Germany for liberal welfare benefits, which they will be on permanently.

11 Contrary to the lies told by Paul Ryan and Obama that trade deal with China and other Asian nations does have a chapter on loosening immigration requirements. Yes, the RNCe got this bill through because they do not give a shit for the base, only big business who wants cheap labor at the expense of American workers who are now at 20% unemployment. We are already allowing 1 million foreign immigrants per year and with 20% unemployment that is insane. And Paul Ryan and Obama want to increase that number.

He referenced the 1883 poem that was written on a plaque and tacked to the Statue of Liberty in 1883 (The old give use your refuse poem) as a reason for letting in another huge wad of ME muzzies above the 280,000 per year we are already letting in. The statue of liberty was never intended to give license for unlimited migration. The plaque was written by a liberal at a much later day and has not basis in law at all.

32 One other thing about that stupid 1883 poem. In 1883 we had no massive welfare system. If you came into this country it was root hog or die. You had to get a job, learn English, and WORK. That is no longer true. We are letting in millions of low skill migrants who will go immediately onto the welfare system because there are no "job" that they can do and most of the new ones don't want a job anyway.

If anyone else wants to get rid of big banks dominance, like I do, lets start with getting rid of Dodd-Frank. Small banks can't afford the compliance costs from that law and are merging or going out of business all over the country.

Why, it's almost as if the big banks actually wrote the damn thing, in order to give themselves a competitive advantage! Oh wait, maybe that is exactly what happened.

The globalists want us to keep the programs because the programs cripple us. Both parties are working together towards the destruction of the United States and its replacement with an international regime alien to our Constitution and law. It's the only rational explanation for why the Republicans have joined the Democrats in ramrodding the Obama agenda through.

48 Morning, 'rons and 'ronettes. Thanks for the morning news, Vic.

Today is the birthday of Vina Fay Wray (1907).

http://goo.gl/Vy5T9s

If you haven't been reading the website Seraphic Secret, you should. The author is Hollywood writer / producer Robert J. Avrech (Body Double, The Devil's Arithmetic), a self-described "religious Zionist, Republican, movie fanatic, gun owner." His blog is a great place not only forserious discussion of the Israel - Palestine conflict, but for trenchant observations on modern Tinseltown and its Golden Age ancestor.

Avrech did a three-part post on Wray, excerpting from her autobiography On the Other Hand, revealing the beasts in this beauty's life, including an alcoholic, cheating husband, an incestuous brother and a child-abusing brother-in-law.

Part One: http://goo.gl/JOIqQT

Part Two: http://goo.gl/ia482t

Part Three: http://goo.gl/tV0OEY

Hope you all have a wonderful day.

We're getting used to hearing about the GOP "Donor Class" supporting immigration, legal or illegal, for cheap labor.

Isn't it more logical, that what they really want is an expanded consumer base?

There's risk in hiring illegals, but none when selling to them.

I was struck yesterday by an interview with some of the "refugees." They were saying that they wanted to go to Germany because Germany pays better refugee "salaries" than Hungary does. Of course, what they're talking about are welfare benefits, but how long before we are forbidden from saying "welfare" anymore because it might hurt some mooching "immigrant's" feelings? You know it's coming.

Also, LiveLeak had several videos up showing how hostile and aggressive these "refugees" really are -- throwing rocks at native Europeans, tossing the water bottles they were given onto the train tracks, stealing food from the back of a charity truck & then throwing it away. Makes you wonder what these "refugees" are going to do if they don't get the big "salaries" they're expecting, or if their unlucky host country tries to reduce or end their "salaries" after a few years.

All those burning cars and nights of "disaffected" muzzie "yoots" rioting in France are soon going to seem like kids' play.

72 Local NY papers report NY State spends $21,812 per student. National average is $10,700. Yet city schools have poor records of attendance and graduation.
While technical colleges have record levels of Asian students. Blacks just don't want to have an education, when so much is free to them.

Well somebody is going to die, that seems certain. No way this is going to end without bloodshed.

Meanwhile, here in America we find out that that TPP trade deal does, contrary to the lies told to the American people, contain immigration provisions that will increase the number of foreigners allowed to come into the U.S. Because that's how law-making is supposed to work in our democratic republic, right? Our lawmakers agree to secret deals, then blatantly lie to our faces about those deals before passing them into law.

There will be blood, and it won't just be in Europe. The only question now is, how much?

I don't know what is more maddening: Obama's blatant lawlessness; Congress' toothlessness in challenging Obama's blatant lawlessness; the media's willingness to hide the facts about both; or the public's obliviousness to it all (although the Trump surge seems to indicate the latter may be ending).

Note that public education is one of THE most costly social goods provided to immigrants, illegal or legal. And it cannot be denied to illegally resident children. So say the black-robed radicals.

Even if low-wage, low-skilled Pedro and Maria are legal immigrants who "work hard and play by the rules", if Pedro and Maria have even one kid in a public school, they've got to be paying an impressive chunk in taxes just to offset what's being spent by the rest of the USA to educate just that one kid.

125 113 "Local NY papers report NY State spends $21,812 per student. National average is $10,700."

School districts, teacher unions and politicians have a vested interest in making the per student yearly total as small as possible. They use accounting tricks like excluding fixed assets (like building maintenance) and only reporting ongoing expenses like salaries.

The Washington Post reported in 2011 that the actual per student per year expenditures in Baltimore, New York and Washington, D.C. was in excess of $28,000. This reporting took a lot of digging and was extremely difficult, as everyone with access to all the numbers want them hidden.

When real world accounting practices are applied taking the costs of pensions, healthcare and the rest into account, the number is much higher.

Rising life expectancy is a myth. If you take the life expectancy after the age of 65 from 1930 and compare it to what he have today it has only gone up a few years.

The overall life expectancy from birth to death has increased but it is primarily due to better healthcare for newborns, few deaths in wars, and few male deaths from crime. But all of these factors have no impact on SS and pensions.

This idea informs prog thinking about immigration. They have believed their own lies about overpopulation for so long, it has effected their replacement rates. A declining population in a welfare state is NOT a good thing. This is why there is an un-holy convergence of GOPe/Dem will to kick down the borders: The progs want lots of workers to continue to prop up their pyramid scheme of entitlements AND a permanent majority in the electorate. And the GOPe gets cheap labor and brand new markets.

That larger problem is that our politicians have bent companies in every industry, enabling cronies to stuff their pockets full of the public's money, while making sure that a significant portion of it ends up back in their pockets as "campaign contributions".
Crony capitalism is not capitalism. It has nothing to do with enterprise and free markets. The way the government picks winners and losers, and the cronies get anti-competitive regulations and sweetheart deals that destroy competition is a de-facto planned economy. Private ownership combined with central planning is a feature of only one economic system, and that's Fascism.

150 I have a new theory on Trump/the GOP-E. I think the GOP candidates had a tacit agreement that they would neutralize the Illegal Immigration issue by all taking the same position on it. "Of course we can't build a wall, and we can't tear families apart. We will secure the border, someday (pinky swear), but we have to give all the illegals we have now (and the ones who will come in while we are working on securing that pesky border) some kind of legal status."

But then Trump comes in and says, "F--k that sh-t, we're going to deport them and build a wall."

It really screwed up the GOP's plan to neutralize the issue.

Trump is a pretty smart guy and he saw that the rift between Mitch McConnell's business interests and the base was a "y-u-u-u-u-u-g-e" opportunity, and he took it.

Occurred to me the other day, regarding the question of whether God set everything in motion in time and space and then sat back to watch, or whether God is intimately involved in moment-to-moment doin's, that the answer is, Yes. The two are indistinguishable with an Eternal Creator.

Our job is not to figure out whether God exists or not, but to figure out, as God is, why would God permit "space to destroy." (!) Supersimple answer: You would never have existed if it hadn't been this way. Are we worth it?

There is never peace in resisting God...The less you hold onto, the happier you will be. Your mind in holding onto its. thoughts and reasonings will torment you. If you can't see past men to God, you will encounter much turmoil.

====================

Average life expectancy has indeed risen, from 58 for men and 62 for women in 1935 (year of SS passage). I'm not sure how to defend the idea of using only "life expectancy after 65", when the actuarial bomb is purely a function of longevity of the population as a whole, but t doesn't really matter. Even if you do use life expectancy after 65, it reached 19.2 years for men in 2012, about 45% longer than in 1940 (12.7 years). In addition the worker to retiree ratio has declined precipitously, undermining the solvency of the program however the longevity issue is analyzed.

Because until you reached the age of 65 you did not draw SS or a pension, therefore if you died before 65 there was no cost to the system. And indeed, what costs that reduced life expectancy in the 30s was infant deaths, war deaths, and in general more deaths at midlife due to disease.

And the data I used for that came from a chart at the Census Bureau that gave average life expectancy broken down by age and year. If you only look at life expectancy after 65 when people started drawing SS in 1930 compared to now it has not greatly increased.

I, in my newly minted conspiratorial mind, have thought for a while now, that the AGW scam was mainly an effort to cut down on consumerism - progress, in other words. And I think that the mass immigration of 'immigrants' is related. An attempt to artificially lower the global standard of living by spreading the poverty. A global push for equality. I believe there is something to that. I also don't think that it is just a lucky coincidence that the 'immigrants' are muslims, some, perhaps many of whom are pron to "sudden jihad onset'. Islam is the near perfect political tool in that violence, ergo fear, is such an inherent feature of it.

1) I think Trump always wants to be on the winning side, so that explains a lot of his going back and forth between the Dems and Repubs.

2) Given the above, that means Trump has determined that the Repubs are the winning side this go election cycle.

3) Trump will make a deal with conservatives, Tea Party types. We put in office and he will give us what we want. The fact that he is burning bridges rhetorically shows that he is serious.

I believe that Chile runs a Social Security program that's almost exactly like what you described. They force you to pay in, but you own your own account, get to pick which of a dozen providers it's through (ranging from stable to risky), and it's your money that you can pass on to your descendants when you're gone.
When I did research on the issue (10+ years ago for college papers), at the time, they had 20% of our GDP, but their average Social Security payout was 50% of ours. They're kicking our butts. But when GWB floated a similar plan for SS privatization, the Left trucked out their whole "you're going to put granny out on an ice floe" rhetoric again.

GWB didn't have the balls to make the case.

Use the left's methods to make it an issue of discrimination. Black men die earlier than white women. Therefore, black men work their entire lives to fund the checks to white women, while their families remain in poverty because there is no inheritance.

Just another example of the white devil slavemaster beating down the poor black man.

I am not a RC, but I get a lot of comfort from RCC writers through the centuries who have helped draw me closer to the Lord Jesus Christ whom all Christians believe in. So we'd better "hang together or most assuredly we will hang separately" (Ben Frankiln, in another context.)

That's a cheap shot. There's actually a lot of progress that's been made. Childhood leukemia and non-Hodgkins lymphoma are two examples that are now pretty much curable if caught soon enough. The problem is, there is no one cancer. Cancer is hundreds of different diseases that work in different ways. We are all carrying tiny cancers around with us all the time, which are being fought by our immune systems - the trick is to figure out why every once in a while one of them decides to grow and the body can't hold it off.

If we do nothing else, get a colonoscopy when the time comes. Colorectal cancer is very slow-growing and almost 100% preventable.

Good Morning Morons. Today is Tuesday, September 15, 2015. On this day
in 1966 U.S. President Lyndon B. Johnson, responding to a sniper attack
by Charles Whitman at the University of Texas at Austin, wrote a letter
to Congress urging the enactment of gun control legislation. This is
always the way of Democrats. A crackpot shoots some people and they call
for more gun control, which has been proven to never work and it only
inconveniences honest people. He got his wish in 1968 after Robert
Kennedy was shot by a Palestinian Arab with Jordanian citizenship who
was never supposed to own a gun to begin with.

Yesterday there were some "migrants" being interviewed, and they were telling the interviewer that they were going to Germany because Germany has the highest refugee "salaries" (i.e. welfare payments).

The pope is right. This is about money and greed. (And BTW, isn't it interesting how all these "poor" refugees can afford the thousands of dollars in fees charged by the smugglers).

215 "SSDI is what is bankrupting SS now and it is primarily due to abuse and fraud."

Here in Commiefornia, there have been innumerable Chinese immigrants, legal ones, who use "family reunification" procedures to bring in their elderly parents from back home.

Since the parents never paid into Social Security, the youngsters are told they must sign a pledge that their parents will be supported by the family for the rest of their lives once in the States, and not allowed to "become a public charge".

The younger family members happily sign this, because they have figured out that the "pledge" is toothless and Uncle Sugar has no intention of ever enforcing it, or coming after them personally for the money due. They hence immediately and happily dump their parents into Social Security as soon as the parents get to the States.

Sure hope none of you are going to need any SS money in your golden years.
