I stumbled across a short video of the F-35 Gatling gun testing. There's a flap that pops open where the wing meets the fuselage. It's pretty far aft, it almost looks like it could shoot itself in a high speed maneuver. I guess that's impossible, but it still looked odd.

Obviously every news outlet should be publishing only the "white guy photo" and calling the shooter "white." Make sure you use the word "white" at least once in every sentence. The cameraman was engaged. The female reporter, well it sounds like it was just a matter of time. Her bf, who also works at the station, has been tweeting and it's heartbreaking.

I guess that depends on why the news crew was there, and for how long.

Really, terrorism is more likely than "crime of passion" in that case, because for a crime of passion, you'd also have to know where they were, whereas for terror, you *could* just cruise around looking for a likely target- making this a crime of opportunity.

But, as others are saying, without the shooter in custody and no one taking responsibility, it's too early to speculate on much of anything.

Prayers for these poor souls and their families.
