The Kentucky GOPs central committee voted Saturday to adopt a presidential caucus system next year, clearing the way Republican Sen. Rand Paul to run for president and reelection at the same time.

Paul has pledged to pick up the tab for holding the caucuses, which could run $500,000 or more. The motion to adopt a caucus system was approved on the condition that Paul transfer $250,000 to a state GOP account next month.

Switching to a caucus system would not allow Paul to run for president and for reelection at the same time in the general election.

I've been done with Luap the Lesser for quite a while. Supporting Yertle McCoscksickle was bad enough, but then blaming America for the creation of ISIS was just the bitter end.

And now that Walker is going "hummina, hummina, hummina," on the cut and dry issue of birthright citizenship, he is now officially gone from my boat.

That said, I really would like to start seeing the stooge candidates like Lindsay, Itch-Kase, Krispy Kreosote and Phleb Bush fall away. At least 3 will be in all the way and if Trump is gone, they GOP-e will try and pull some sort of phony rule change shit at the convention.

I have no doubt that they are plotting even now to fuck with the primaries. This is one reason why Trump's presence is rather helpful.

Israel is capable of some amazing things. Off the top of my head, the Soviets had given Egypt their latest radar system, so the Mossad/Sayeret Matkal sent a team across the border, took out the guards, dismantled the station and then sent it back to Israel. They also commandeered some very advanced attack boats in a French port that were destined for the Egyptian Navy.

Not saying they can do this, but who knows? I'd say it is a fair bet that as we speak, Israel will ramp up it's clandestine activity to a level just short of open war, and maintain it as long as possible to try and a) slow Iran down until January 2017 and b) prepare the battlespace ahead of any attack.

Nah. There is such a concept called operational capacity, at the moment only the powers have that kind of munition and airspace-presence possibility. Israel can not take out the Iranian nuclear program through airpresence. The US, China and possibly Russia could.

I don't see it quite that way. We *have* cracked the code and our eyes are open now. An awful lot of people relize the GOPe is basically allied with the Dems on many issues.

The GOP will be forced to choose between living with Trump *and his anti-GOPe supporters* or facing a beating at the polls unlike any they've seen in the last 40 years.

Either way, we win. If Trump wins, we get immigration control and the GOPe is beaten. If there's no Trump and the GOPe loses like the Dems did in 1984, the GOPe is burned to the ground and Allen can go scatter the stones, and you can bring the kosher salt, JJ. This is not the time to go wobbly.

Maybe, if his Senate "career" so far didn't show him to be a lazy, standard-issue do-nothing hack politician.

For every instance when he has come across as a Hero (the famous filibuster is the only one I can think of, but there may have been others) there are times when he has hit Zero status (TPP, Corker, the "Mitch lied to meeeee!" meltdown).

If he didn't have that exotic Identity Politics thing going for him, Cruz would be shufflin' papers in a law office back in Texas.
