Farrell also indicates to the investigators over lunch that the specimen sales from her department contribute significantly to Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast's overall finances: 'I think everyone realizes, especially because my department contributes so much to the bottom line of our organization here, you know we're one of the largest affiliates, our Research Department is the largest in the United States. Larger than any the other affiliates' combined.' In a Texas Senate hearing on July 29, former Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast clinic director Abby Johnson estimated that the affiliate had previously made up to $120,000 per month off of aborted fetal tissue.

Clearly, the putz making these videos aimed at demonizing Planned Parenthood is determined to increase the number of abortions in this country.
I know, he claims to be an anti-abortion activist. But that's just a ruse. He obviously believes abortion is a desirable procedure, because he's going after the leading organization in reducing the number of terminated pregnancies. Through family planning and education, much of that provided by Planned Parenthood, this country has reduced the number of unintended pregnancies and abortions. Through family planning and education, much of that provided by Planned Parenthood, this country has reduced the number of unintended pregnancies and abortions.
In theory, that's what Planned Parenthood is supposed to be all about: teaching people responsibility, helping them avoid pregnancy when they don't want it, and helping shape parenthood in responsible and prepared adults. That's what the name implies: planned parenthood. But has it ever, ever been about that? Not since its origin under the hand of the evil racist murderess Margaret Sanger. Sounds like they broke the law to me:
"Where we probably have an edge over other organizations, our organization has been doing research for many many years," explains Farrell. When researchers need a specific part from the aborted fetus, Farrell says, "We bake that into our contract, and our protocol, that we follow this, so we deviate from our standard in order to do that." Asked specifically if this means Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast can change abortion procedures to supply intact fetal specimens, Farrell affirms, "Some of our doctors in the past have projects and they're collecting the specimens, so they do it in a way that they get the best specimens, so I know it can happen." Funny, never heard PP described as a research organization, no as a tissue donation center. Yet here is a PP Houston staffer talking like it's a center for scientific research. They arrange their "donations" to go to a local university, IIRC. Posted by: Lizzy at August 04, 2015 11:50 AM (NOIQH) 187

Another push to do away with lwop.
http://goo.gl/0IoOf7 I have heard of this in the 90s where inmates sentenced to lwop, who were not behavioral problems, were given additional privileges. In interviews, inmates simply stated that they accepted they were in there for life and made the decision to make the best of it. Cant argue with that? Well, yes they can. I suspect this has more to do with the abolitionist movement pushing us to all become fwench. No surprise that they gloss over the crimes and backgrounds of the inmates.
