I can imagine. I did the freelancer thing for a while. Different field entirely, and it was bad enough without ageism being a factor.

It stars out with a heavily edited video comment and continues on like that for a bit and then gets into the highly unofficial unauthorized bit before they get to the Head of PP sending a letter to Congress complaining of future videos that are coming because they are being harassed, stalked and infiltrated by unnamed and secretive anti-abortion groups.

Ms Bland's family wouldn't accept the charges on her attempts to call them for bail. The bail bondsman called. The Hempstead jail staff let her use the phone to call without charges. Either her family didn't have the money or they were tired of paying for her arrests (multiple times over the years). She told people she was going to be bailed out Saturday but the money didn't come nor call backs to the bail bondsman. Moral to this story is don't kick cops if you don't have the money to bail out. How this is the fault of the jail I do not understand who appeared to try to help her out. AND she had to pay for the tow/impound for her car if she wanted it back which I have not seen mentioned. She had multiple arrests for DUI, marijuana possession (with a 30 day sentence last year), suspended drivers license and tickets in both Il and Tx. Very sad.

FWIW, Ray Odierno is the Army Chief of Staff, not the top general in Iraq. He was the commander in Iraq before being made the top general in the Army.

Remember how some on this here blog were convinced that the Army would whitewash the investigation of Bergdahl? When GEN Odierno appointed MG Ken Dahl as investigating officer, I knew better. Dahl is, as events have proven, a straight shooter who would call it like it was. It was obvious at the time, from that appointment alone, that Odierno was not a fan of TFG.

My first 'puter had something called "Portable Wordstar" installed. It couldn't do much, and that's being charitable.

When I got my first desktop, the magazine I worked for used a program called "Xywrite," which was maybe the best WP program evah. They gave me a copy and I used it 'til everyone went away from DOS systems. It was designed to interface with the typesetters in some special way.

No rats, mice and roaches were a rarity. Alas, EPA), sprucing it up a bit and typing all my scripts on it. I doubt there is anything that will hold up under scrutiny.

I've seen trial lawyers tear down TOS that, to the average person, seem pretty clear. I sincerely doubt there is anything that implies to the "mother" their fetus will be torn into parts and sold for medical research.

It will be a disaster for PP and they'll look to settle. Personally, I wouldn't.

But as I said earlier, I think she had mental issues and as indicated by her driving record, she should not have been driving in the first place. Some are more difficult to combat. I need a non-Marxist term for "gay marriage." See, in writing you can just put the oxymoron in parentheses, but what is a good verbal equivalent?

Another South Park reference: There was an episode about the word "gay" and how it doesn't mean homosexual any more. There was something else on TV recently about how the homosexuals fought this and restored (get this) the original meaning of the word. I couldn't believe what I was hearing.

"Same-sex marriage" works. To the media's credit, they've been using that term.

(Better hurry, though. I give it maybe two years before that's deemed hate speech. The desired term, of course, is "marriage" with no distinction from any other kind of marriage.)

234 But as I said earlier, I think she had mental issues and as indicated by her driving record, she should not have been driving in the first place. Especially since her license had been revoke for multiple DUIs. And I suspect the cop had called in that plate before he even got out of his patrol car. They do that here via computer. So if you ever get pulled over in SC by the State patrol you can bet the cop has already looked at your record before he even walks up to your car.

I believe he ran her and was still going to let her off with a warning. But when she began acting like a loon he had second thoughts. She was bizarre. Normal people dont carry on that way. And he was absolutely right to change his mind. Her license was going to be suspended 7/31 and she had no insurance.

Here's my take on the f'in glaciers. First of all we are still "in remission" from the last Ice Age, so I would expect an overall gradual decline in glaciation. Second, mountains tend to create micro-climates real good, and some of those are gonna be less conducive to glacier health than others. So why don't we see pictures of glaciers expanding? Same reason we don't see pictures of oceans not rising - the information made available to the low-info public is carefully managed by the liberal left in the media, for the benefit of their cause, which happens to include the Democratic Party.
