Morning Thread (7-21-2015)

There's supposed to be a new Planned Parenthood video dropping soon - maybe today. Must be pretty bad since they tried to get out ahead of it through their MSNBC cable channel.

Forget soft tyranny. It's full on repression by the state.

12 A new Planned Parenthood video, eh? I wonder what new outrage Choom Boy is planning to slip past us?

Distractions always seem to crop up when really bad shit goes down in D.C. And the old "Squirrel!" trick isn't enough these days; gotta gin up some Serious Outrage to keep peoples' minds occupied.

That said, I guess "slip past" is something of a misnomer. Congress and the MFM pretty well insure that anything the Mocha Messiah wants is rushed past, full-steam-ahead and, for him, effort-free.

Yesterday's mensch of the day award goes to Rick Santorum. When pressed about Trump, he said in essence, look I don't agree with what he said but I'm not going to make the same mistakes of 2012 by attacking one of our own and allowing the Democrats to win. Next question.

Something to be learned by our side, please.

Apparently unbeknownst to anyone else, the 14th amendment repealed the 10th amendment and most other parts of the constituon.

Equal protection, what a benign sounding phrase that has been used to cause such tremendous damage.

Can't buy what a lot of people (at least around here) say, which is something to the effect of "wow, this [whatever "it" is] will wake people up to the perfidy of the Choom Gang!" If anyone had been paying attention, the Mocha Messiah and his myrmidons would have been removed from office and jailed seven years ago. If he had been elected at all, which, if attention had been paid, he wouldn't.

And yet, I still believe we should know, and continue to press for some kind of action. Doing something strikes me as a more positive thing than doing nothing....

35 Per the AoS Style Guide, it is 'the amateur webzine Slate'.

I know ace said he wasn't going to cover the Iran deal, but maybe he could at least cover the blatant hypocrisy/idiocy of the Senate whiners now that TFG has bypassed Congress via the UN vote:

"The Iran Nuclear Agreement Review Act, a bill which 98 Senators and 400 Representatives supported and you signed, established a 60-day period for Congress to consider the nuclear agreement. We are deeply concerned that your administration plans to enable the United Nations Security Council to vote on the agreement before the United States Congress can do the same," Corker and Cardin wrote.

Yeah, too late, suckers. For nearly 7 years TFG has been fucking y'all over and over and over, and you STILL give him the benefit of the doubt? May there be an Iranian ICBM with your names on it.

32 There is a degree of action which people are reluctant to engage in, and the accumulation of every bullshit thing thats going on will eventually relieve us of that burden by finally compelling us to move.

38 Looks like neo-Nazis and thr KKK are adding their helpful voices and race relationship expertise to the debate over the systematic destruction of Southern history and it's symbols.

Im sure the neo-Nazis and Klan are simply trying to be helpful and bring the country together.

It would be better, though, if there was someone in a visible place of resect and authority who could help bring us together through an inspiration message, a force of personality, a friendly symbol of how far we've come and gives us hope that a post-racial future could be even more tolerant and inclusive.

I imagine this person would have to be a truly exceptional person who loves America and Americanism, who understands the struggle of normal Americans.

A person like that would have to be an actor, with executive experience, with a kind heart and strong magic.

Like Gandalf the White.

Hell, the Iranians are already weaseling, waffling, restating and clarifying like mad. Apparently, they think the deal is only about dropping sanctions and sending them a metric fuckton of money while they do what they want.

In other words, they see it the same way Choom Boy does.

Maine is something like 98-99pct white so they are going to have to truck a shit ton of blacks and Hispanics into that state.

We all know how incompetent they are but this is such a disaster and has such potential to hurt the Dems they ought to at least make an effort. The possibilities for humiliating them is huge by reviewing the race credentials of everybody called to speak and questioning their personal information to assure the hearing are balanced. All in accordance with what is being planned for all Americans. It might just wake up some people or even make an impression on some libs in the MSM that are always pretending to care about our privacy.

I understand that under pressure from B.O', Trump said that if he hurt anybody's feelings (ref to saying McCain not a hero) he'd take whatever he said back. Then he said that he said McCain was a hero four times later on. (which he did say).

Still he's twitching. Either he's gotten some really high pressure under the counter messages or his polls have taken a dive.

I'll be happy if he doesn't. I'm surprised he's gone this long without apologizing or kissing someone's ass in compensation for what he's said.

105 The price downturn in precious metals is telling me that Yellen is going to begin raising interest rates soon. When she does, I anticipate economic turmoil. Businesses and govts are going to have to relearn how to operate in a normal interest rate environment. We've had almost a decade of ZIRP, and everybody has forgotten how to function in a "normal" economy. That will lead to a widespread realization that the USA is financially worse off than Greece, that our debts will never be paid down, and we may have a repeat of Sep 2008 crisis.

Considering the situation purely politically, if the upheaval happens before Nov 2016, it may be blamed on Obama and Dems; if it happens after, then it will be blamed on the new president and his party. Speaking completely cynically, I say that if the collapse does not happen on Obama's watch, we should really want Dems to win big in 2016, so they take the blame when the SHTF.

Strangely enough the worm has started to turn in of all places Detroit. Black preachers are uniting against violence, Sharpton could only round up a very few (4) protesters against Kid Rock ang GM, and many preachers are vocally warning their congregation that they will be "freer" if they get jobs and are independent. There is a long way to go here, unfortunately, but progress is being made, oddly enough I think our local news promotes dependence thoughts. When Ben Carson was here to announce his presidency, the news interviewed lots of blacks who said he does not represent them! They did not say why, just that he did not.

There is a lot you can do against Leviathan without even sticking your neck out. Some thoughts in no particular order:

1 Stop buying stuff
2 Do only what the government directly compels you to do.
3 Pay in cash with a winkwink
4 Cheat the government whenever possible
5 Steal all your entertainment
6 If you know of tax cheating, keep your mouth shut
7 If called to jury, refuse to convict
8 Discriminate in all your private dealings, without openly saying so
9 If you see a CoC sticker on a business, go elsewhere
10 Vote against all tax levies, particularly school levies
11 Buy firearms and ammo. It's not simply a just-in-case, it's a good financial investment of small sums when savings are yielding 1/4 of a percent.

152 @138

Perry likes to portray himself as being pro military, he's even gotten an endorsement from Marcus Latrell, a real war hero, I might add.

How's about he attack the SCOAMF over killing vets at the VA by the thousands?

Or perhaps he can go ballistic over Hillarys role in letting good men, soldiers, die at Benghazi?

He won't do that because he's too busy trying to get his ass out of the basement by attacking the top dog.

His time is over, he had a chance in 2008 but he blew it.

Go away Perry, just go away.

Seems that not unlike ammunition, there is a two flag limit on the purchasing of all things CBF in the local stores.
They can't keep them in stock, and the purchasers mostly seem to be people who then get into their cars bearing license plates from northern States.

I just found that to be mildly interesting.

FWLIW, it might just be this 'deal' was intended to restore the flow of oil to Europe and elsewhere in an effort towards challenging Russia's regional dominance in oil. Almost immediately after, Iran penned a deal to build a pipeline.

It goes deeper than that. Like a lot of other companies, the progs realize Big Data is where it's at in the future. Common Core wants to know and document everything, EVuRYthing about your child. The progs think they can institute their own vision of the totally discredited idea of Soviet style workforce planning. Your kid will be a known quantity to the state by age 10. And will be exported to a "position of need", as determined by the State.

178 @166

There is actually more racism and hate in the NE than the South.

If you look at the FBI uniform crime statistics and compare Alabama with a much larger population and a greater percentage of blacks than Vermont, Vermont has more reported hate crimes.

It's even worse when you compare Alabama with New York.

Reported hate crimes in Alabama: 6
Reported hate crimes in New York: 1034

You can look at most southern states and compare them to the NE, there are infinately more hate crimes reported in the NE.

But I've been wondering if the Iran treaty (or agreement, or whatever the fukc it is) has been fast-tracked to undercut and stymie the US's fracking for oil & gas? An energy-independent US would be an immense giant for the globalists to try to control on the world stage, whereas a US that is still dependent on ME oil could still be brought to heel.

Just food for thought.

Kasich wants to tax the oil/gas from fracking in Ohio. Same effect as banning or limiting it. Fukcing Ohio can't stand success, or the thought of it. We have to do SOMETHING to ruin it.

This is ONE of the reasons that I strongly oppose Kasich as President or VP. In the end, he is just another big government advocate, which is totally different than how he promotes himself.
