Umm, the Pantanjali's yoga sutras were written somewhere between 400 BC and 500 AD - and if you're only talking asana then the Hatha Yoga Pradipika was written in the 15th century. And while there certain postures that can stimulate a woman (assuming she's engaging the bandhas correctly), I think transference (or some variation) is more responsible for the yoga teachers getting laid.
