The fact that McCain is injecting himself in this campaign is disgusting.
It was McCain that called us crazies and Trump was defending his supporters and ultimately the people who aren't quite onboard with the invasion of the country for the benifit of the Democratic Party and the schemes of the oligarchy. WTF? Posted by: Daybrother at July 20, 2015 09:52 AM (kOBIH) This is actually pretty common. SWAT needed something to do, serving notices and snagging fugitives is sometimes dicey, so SWAT gets the job when it looks like something slightly dangerous for the Sheriff's deputy. I'm grabbing this fro the last thread, 'cause I think it matters:
128 Democrats say "The Deal" will be a tough sell on the Hill. Why are they saying this? The Deal has already been made. For the same reason OBumbles came out the week before the "deal" (capitulation) was announced and claimed a 50/50 chance of coming to terms. $15 billion in gold was airmailed from S. Africa to Tehran the previous week. The deal was done a long time ago. They want to make their own narrative about the administration "beating the odds at the last minute." The Congress has to pass a bill DISAPPROVING the deal, which Obama vetoes. Presto! It's LAW, BITCHES! Fukc you very much, Bob Corker. Trump seldom plays defense
He's showing that you don't have to. That you don't have to apologize, that you don't have to back down, even if you say something stupid or wrong. Just keep pushing, strong, fast, and confident. GOP candidates need to take heed. They're acting like if they are careful enough, the press won't spin them or attack them. That's an idiotic fantasy. Wont allow trump to debate? What does that mean? They'll all refuse to show up for the Fox debate and just give Trump 2 hours alone on the stage? Yeah, right! Or do they mean Fox will not let him on stage? IN which case... good. Why are we letting the media STILL be our gatekeepers? No one should do the debates with CNN/ Salem or Fox. Live stream it online and have real conservatives ask the questions, town hall style. Anyone interested enough in the primaries will watch, and everyone else can go suck a dick, frankly. The media uses the "debates" not to showcase the candidates an their different views, but to get "gotcha" quotes on republicans. It's op research for the dems. So why even show up? Trump doesn't have to play defense because he has nothing to lose. Every point he gains is a win. he isn't invested the way the PoS is. That's one of the treasons they despise him.
No one has yet explained his Flying Dutchman campaign of 2012. he can crash and burn, politically speaking, and he'd go back to being Trump. hell, he's being Trump right now.And that's true even IF he isn't running as a spoiler for Hillarity. Students and tycoons running their mouths aren't impressive; in both cases, they have little or nothing to lose and they are probably playing at it, fueling their vanities. The reason we're so impressed by our founding fathers was because they had much to lose, (and several did) and the gains were long term, for them and more for posterity. Today is the 71st anniversary of the denouement of the nearly-forgotten "20th of July" plot in 1944, when a courageous, but incredibly quixotic, group of old-fashioned German patriots under the leadership of Army officer Count Claus von Stauffenberg (1907-1944) sought to achieve a compromise end to World War II in Europe by assassinating Adolf Hitler in his headquarters at Rastenburg, East Prussia, preparatory to opening peace negotiations with the western allies (i.e., excluding Russia). The conspiracy involved a number of high-ranking officers, including Generals Ludwig Beck and Friedrich Obert, but collapsed when a bomb placed by Stauffenberg himself failed to kill Hitler, and plans to seize Berlin fell through. Within a day Stauffenberg and the other ringleaders had been executed, but thousands of known opponents of the regime were killed also, and Field Marshals Erwin Rommel, Erwin von Witzleben, and Günther von Kluge were implicated and forced to commit suicide. Ironically, within a year, the Third Reich had collapsed and Hitler was dead.

You see, liberals insist that religious people who run businesses are serving the public and therefore aren't allowed to discriminate based on their religion. They're now a public service. So closing on Sunday discriminates against anyone who wants a chicken sandwich on Sunday. They can keep the sabbath at a personal level (don't mow your lawn, don't work on your taxes), but when you're a business you can't push that shit on the public. In this day and age, I really don't understand why we still do this. Not every debate needs to be a 20 person clusterf** where you only get 10 sec to answer a given question. It seems like it'd be an easy benefit for 2-3 of the lower tier candidates to get together and work with one of the popular conservative sites and have an actual debate. It'd be a win for everyone. Grassroot publicity for the candidates that they can't get on conventional news, lots of free hits to whoever gets to moderate and stream the thing, and for people looking to hear more about these lesser known people, we'd get to hear them answer questions that conservatives actually care about rather than stupid wedge issues delivered by libs. Trump is no different than any of them. Not sure he believes anything he is saying. And even if he does pretty sure he will change his mind in the near future. It's impossible to ignore a lifetime of his statements for what he has been saying for the last six weeks. I understand the support for trump is more of a protest vote, and because no one else is saying what he says. There is a thirst for what he is saying. That doesn't mean he is sincere or will hold to those very recent positions. It's not a matter of choosing trump vs McCain. McCain isn't on the ballot. Don't be seduced.

Sure, everyone thinks that. John McCain probably looks in the mirror and sneers 'screw you.' But that's not the problem here. Trump said, and I quote, "I like people who weren't captured." That's not a slam on McCain. That extends it to everyone who ever was a POW. It was at best awkward and poorly stated and its upset a lot of people. PLAINFIELD, Iowa --- As presidential hopeful Scott Walker toured a farm in this tiny town where he lived as a child, he was confronted by an undocumented worker from Mexico who is living in Wisconsin and demanded to know why Walker does not support President Obama's plan to give temporary status to some undocumented workers, including parents of children who were born in the United States.
"We're a nation of laws," Walker, the Republican governor of Wisconsin, repeatedly told Jose Flores, 38, who was joined by two of his four children, Luis, 7, and Leslie, 13, who had tears rolling down her cheeks throughout the exchange. Flores, who lives in Waukesha and works for a medical supply factory, said he and his wife live in fear of being deported and separated from their children, who he said were all born in the United States. "My point," Walker said, "is that you have to follow the law, follow the process." Aaaand that's how they're going to do it - have super-sympathetic dreamers or same-sex couples or transgenders confront GOP candidates and force them to either acquiesce or be the bad guy (w/the MSM just waiting to pounce on anything that depicts 'em as heartless, mean, bigoted). In their defense, so was British Intelligence at the time. They weren't being very careful about hiring commies and got riddled with them, all the way up in to the 80s. I didn't care much for Up. It was okay, but the bad guy was just... randomly bad, he was bad so that there would be a bad guy instead of consistently and reasonably. His behavior was radical without a shred of supporting background or logic. It was fun in parts and interesting to watch, but really overrated in my opinion. The speech was rambling and all over the place, but you could see people connecting and starting to applaud what he was saying. I don't know exactly what Trump's game is, but he does loathe Obama and his administration (but then, so does Hillary). He says the right kind of populist things attacking Obama's actions, without being orthodox conservative in philosophy. Trump is not a conservative, but he is an American Populist. Like him or hate him, I think he does care about what is happening and is appalled at how destructive Obama has been. McCain is a self - centered idiot, who ditched his first wife for Cindy to get at her beer fortune money (and because she was pretty hot, too). Guys, I've seen quite a bit of rumbling in the POW world about McCain and understand why now that I've done the research. Let's just say that if you google Tokyo Rose and McCain and just read that piece there seems to be more beneath the surface here. Hey fellas, I'm a new listener, but I'm already hooked. Just curious about your thoughts on what John Kerry said on CNN's State of the Union this past weekend? Essentially, he's in favor of the Iran Nuclear deal going as far as to say that it's a good deal. He clarified his position by stating that "listen they already had enough enriched Uranium to have 10 or more bombs. Now we..." know about them and can inspect their facilities. Those inspections are supposed to be after a 24 DAY waiting period in which the Iranians are notified about the upcoming inspection. At this point, I'm sitting here saying, holy shit, even I can hide a nuclear weapon in 24 days. While I know there can be a better deal, in your opinions, do you think this is something Obama wanted to get on his timeline and is settling for something rather than nothing or is it really possible that this could be a good deal (something is better than nothing?) I find it hard to believe that, but thought I'd give you all more to talk about.

Day was a Marine in the Pacific in WWII. After the war he joined the USAF. Saw combat in Korea. In Vietnam he was handed the craziest mission ever for someone to lead - Misty FAC. It was during a high speed low level recee mission in an F-100F Super Sabre when the Gomers blew him out of the air. The ejection broke his arm. And when the North Vietnamese captured him, they tortured him in the field. According to your criteria since only Day was there, how can we know he was tortured? McShitty did not start the Forestall fire. It was started by an electrical malfunction on a missile. He was on the ship at the time though.

>>Yep. Grabbing somebody by the neck and telling them you're going to send them out in an ambulance while being recorded for TV isn't a real bright move.
Because they're emboldened bullies. Like Dan Savage, so-called bullying expert (as in taking the mantel of a victim and decrying bullying), screaming at Christian students who were offended by his attacks on Christians during a school speech. Or like the SSM activist screaming a Texas Governor at an airport gate. Posted by: Lizzy at July 20, 2015 01:00 PM (NOIQH) 597

Stop. Just stop. Anna does not attack people constantly. If she's attacked you in any way, given her track record and person here... maybe that's a good time for some self examination.
Seconded. Anna has been a consistent, reliable commenter for quite a while. Not to mention she's also a friend to raptors and proficient with IED's (incognito Emu dispatches). Posted by: 1bulwetweft at July 20, 2015 01:00 PM (nqiq9) 599
428 Has anyone actually researched McCain's history as a POW, where it is widely rumored that he did propaganda broadcasts for the VC??
============== Some have looked into it but a lot is obfuscated. Its known he did at least one, and that's known out of his own admission, but its probably too much to say he did lots of them. There were two senior officer POWs who claimed that McCain was not, or barely, tortured and that he had made more broadcasts. McCain says he never reported to them; don't know whether they knew each other personally. Any time somebody tries to investigate it all seriously it gets shouted down from many quarters who all insist that one do *not* look at that history. Its too crude, you're an unfeeling unpatriotic monster, etc etc. Posted by: Bigby's Itchy Fingers at July 20, 2015 01:00 PM (3ZtZW) Posted by: Tilikum Killer Assault Whale at July 20, 2015 01:01 PM (8marX) 601

Blue Hen:
Well, I don't know anything re McCain's stuff, just citing what's out there. As far as the wall and Trump's appeal in the general, those are my opinions but I think they're pretty strong. Other than Trump who can do it, Walker?? Do we trust Walker pretty well? I really like the guy, him and Cruz, but I just don't know in the general. C Taylor: I like Anna as well and have always enjoyed her posts, but I'm just bringing up some stuff that I had never even heard of and everyone freaks out. I'm not saying it's 100% accurate but it is interesting and I wasn't aware that there was actually quite a bit of controversy. But regardless, I do think it's a distraction and it's best to move on. Now let's see if the dem and gope media/operatives do the same. I doubt it. Posted by: prescient11 at July 20, 2015 01:02 PM (q5APL) 604

"The NVA was going to let him die till they found out who daddy was. Then they moved heaven and earth to keep him alive."
Posted by: wrg500 at July 20, 2015 12:55 PM (sWgE+) This is exactly correct and little known fact. McCain fucked up his shoulder in the crash and didn't receive the immediate medical attention required to fix it properly. NVA did apparently "torture" him initially, but shortly thereafter found out who he was. His supporters and the media would like to spin a tale of McCain being tortured for five years, while he refused to take an early release. Makes a nice a story, but not the actual case. McCain has been nothing but a cancer on the American government since he started his "service" in electoral politics.
I think he is one of the first that came up with the phrase "jobs Americans just won't do" in justifying amnesty. I think he really hates Americans. Posted by: Ken at July 20, 2015 01:10 PM (LXJ1e) 616

The fact is that worthless POS McCain injected himself into this campaign, he is an utterly disgraceful fool who should have been brought down by the SandL scandal, he has been a cancer on the body politic and specifically the GOP.
He needs to go away and let those who actually want to win and perhaps turn this ship away from the iceberg and opportunity. If he's so concerned about the sacred honor of veterans why doesn't he start attacking the SCOAMF and his administration for killing veterans? He won't because Mavericks gotta maverick. Posted by: Kreplach at July 20, 2015 01:27 PM (97FRK) 619
There is some controversy there, so just was throwing it out there to discuss. Posted by: prescient11 at July 20, 2015 01:06 PM (q5APL) There's nothing to discuss about his time as POW. It was completely honorable. Yes, he made a recording, but so did 99% of the POWs. The torture was just too prolonged and terrible. All but a handful broke, so the rule in that camp was that every POW should hold out as long as he could, but there no shame in breaking after that. There is plenty to go after on that dickhead McCain but this isn't one of them. Posted by: stace at July 20, 2015 01:51 PM (CoX6k) Posted by: Alberta Oil Peon at July 20, 2015 01:51 PM (+y3Tj) 621

Posted by: jwest at July 20, 2015 01:04 PM (P/xrJ) that is also incorrect. The commies put a body cast on him after they found out who his daddy was, but after that he was dying after weeks of getting poor care in that hospital They wouldn't wash him and just kind of threw food at his face. Finally when he was at death's door he was thrown back in with two POWs, one of whom saved his life by keeping him clean and fed, the other POW (Bud Day) being too injured himself to help. He was tortured into mkaing a confession after he refused early release, having some teeth knocked out, his arm rebroken and some ribs cracked. And so on. again, this is not the issue to go after McCain on. It distracts from the actual harm he's been doing. Posted by: stace at July 20, 2015 02:02 PM (CoX6k) 622
The only one who says McCain was tortured is John McCain.
