Can't they just run around naked like the PETA chicks do? Or do we really want to see them naked?

At least they recognize that their actions are illegal. I guess that that is something.

And that's the big problem of arbitrary law. It degrades the Rule of Law, replaced it with the Rule of Fiat, and eventually people start going "Well, we don't care if you say so. I say it ain't so."

Couldn't possibly be that cable news has become a freaking sermonizer on stuff we either don't care about or the sermon is opposite to what we believe?

The costs are another matter and there's some purely financial decisions being made but if they were producing good shows and quit being the freaking Nag Central promoting all sorts of PC crap that we're really not interested in and really want to see stop then people just might be willing to fork over the dough. 91 Trump should reach out to Brat to join Team Trump.

Brat could level Trump up so he could be the vehicle to deliver the message.

Let's face it, the other candidates are timid and or GOPe shills or just do not have the gravitas to do the job.

Remember, it was Trump that got Obama to release his bullshit birth certificate.

Dude is fearless.

Say what you want about Trump, and there's a lot to be said, he's put himself on the line and is suffering real damages.

Why just yesterday the FAA has now said its rescinding Trumps special call signs for his planes because that's what the fully weaponized federal government does now to its enemies.

Much like I was on team Cain because quite frankly I'm done with the professional politican/lawyer class, sorry Cruz, I want someone who's actually accomplished something in the real world.

Is Trump perfect, hell no, but he is saying things that matter to me and is taking real damage for it.

I appreciate that.

So for now I'm on Team Trump until he flames out.

167 With the technology today, there's no reason other than bloated salaries and disfunctional management for not having A La Carte Bundles.

And if the cable already has been run to your home, no huge installation costs and basic cable with local channels should be a reasonable amount and not as much as they managed to jack it up to. The nets can go suck an egg. And they're the only ones entitled to 20 minutes of commercials per hour as they broadcast and don't have a defined revenue stream as cable does.

And by the way when are all those monopolies that were granted to get things started expiring? let's let some other players into the game instead of all these mergers. There's like what 3 cable companies now?

232 >>>So...in Civil War reenactments from now on...will there only be one side?

Posted by: Circa (Insert Year Here)

I expect reenactments to disappear.
.
.
.They pretty much already have. We used to reenact Confederates for about 10-12 years and it was thriving until about 2008 or so, then it just started dying out. We went all over New England down to Virginia and all over PA, never did the big Gettysburg though. Way too many people for us.

Rev War reenacting is going down also. We used to watch the battle of Fort Griswold yearly when we moved to New England. They had tons of people on both sides. One year they had more Colonial reenactors than were actually in the battle. Now, you are lucky if 25 reenactors show up for the anniversary.

People who do Civil War and Rev War reenacting are aging and there were never many young people to replace them. It was mostly people that grew up in the 50s and 60s that did it.

243 Today Iran celebrated their annual Quds day - burning Israeli and American flags, shouting death to America and Israel - the standard peaceful muslim shit.

It got me think why it seems to me that leftism and the fascism that islam represents are so similar.

How many positive things do you hear that islam does for the world? - disaster relief, building hospitals... humanitarian shit? Certainly not much, if any.

How about leftism? Sure they do the vote buying handout shit, but stuff that is good for everybody? In honesty, not much. They'll pick a group, convince them that they are being downtrodden or exploited by the capitalists, promise to take shit from the rich and give it to them, but for society overall? N E V E R.

For both of these groups it's always, "Wait 'til we're universally in control. Then we'll bring about utopia.

They never get there. Because their shit doesn't work. It doesn't work with less than universal control and it won't work with it, because they will never have universal control, because somebody will always see through their shit. Somebody will always want to be free of their shit.

Our biggest problem now is that so many people ostensibly on our side, are benefiting from their push to buy their way to power. And not just from the leftists. From the muzzies too. Yesterday, some muzzie power broker announced a 30 billion dollar push to promote sharia in the U.S. People on "our side" will be getting some of this money and will be helping to promote this b.s.

I'm done.
