Sefton: sefton at cutjibnewsletter.com | Not a Smidgen of Corruption: Lois Lerner Met With FBI Officials to Plan Prosecutions of Obama Political OpponentsThis would involve the transmission of confidential IRS taxpayer information to the FBI, which is illegal, but as we all know: When the King does it, it's not illegal. Newly obtained documents from the conservative educational foundation Judicial Watch detail an official memo from October 2010 of a meeting between Lois Lerner and officials at the Department of Justice and the FBI to plan for the prosecution of targeted nonprofit organizations.... In a letter from Darrell Issa (R., Calif.) to IRS Commissioner John Koskinen, then-House Oversight Committee Chairman said "this revelation likely means that the IRS--including possibly Lois Lerner--violated federal tax law by transmitting this information to the Justice Department." An IRS document confirms that the organization supplied the FBI with 21 computer disks containing 1.25 million pages of confidential information from more than 113,000 tax returns.Um, easy: they're the only people who can be trusted to cover up their own crimes. "I mean, Rep. Cummings on the freakin' committee and he was also a participant?!?"
And here I had thought it brazen that the D.C. insiders picked Jamie Gorelick as one of the 9/11 investigative commissioners. But let's remember, putting Cummings there was brilliant on the part of the Democrats. Issa queried Lerner a few times, got repeated invocations of the Fifth, and then abruptly and petulantly shut down the hearings before anyone else had a chance to question Lerner. Which let Cummings rise to his feet and bellow at the top of his considerable lungs about unfair witch hunts, and legal procedures being violated, and suppression of committee members' views, and RAYCISS ELEVENTY. It was all theater from Cummings, but it was theater that worked, and the blundering Issa walked right into the roundhouse punch. Issa ended up issuing a groveling hat in hand apology to Cummings. So your typical LIV was left with the distinct impression from the teevee news that that awful man Rep. Issa had tried to get away with something underhanded regarding Ms. Lerner, and it was only the brave underdog Rep. Cummings who came to her defense. "why is no one in jail"
Like me, you were probably raised love your country and respect the Rule of Law. I have found over the decades that what I was taught is no longer of use in our world. You can love that America that was, but it is not that America anymore. The Rule of Law is over, the Rule of Man is supreme. The criminals are in charge. Their henchmen enforce their edicts. The ruling elite is immune to any law or the consequence thereof. Go against them and you will be crushed. I/You/We are the minority now. We have no say. Posted by: Lizzy at July 07, 2015 06:09 PM (NOIQH) Some people don't. Holder told Issa to get stuffed, IIRC. You guys seem to think he was Lavrenti Beria, and should've had Lerner frogmarched off to the Lubyanka and shot in the basement. Ask yourselves this: why isn't Issa chairman of the House Oversight committee right now? Answer: because Boehner removed him. Does that help? Now you have a calibration on Issa's power. they going to continue to dance to the MSM's tune and only discuss things like immigration "reform" and SSM? Posted by: Lizzy There's a lot more soviet criticism of Trump coming. Bank on it. The Media is uniformly against him. The Rupert Murdoch Media empire (WSJ, Fox News) is most definitely down on him. Rush was playing Krauthammer attacking Trump. Trump is a barroom lout, according to the Kraut. Kraut didn't say how much Fox paid him to say that. This is really a watershed moment for Rush, among others. He can stand alone, and he doesn't look like he's selling out. But he'll be made to suffer for this. Rush is asking, just what is wrong or untrue about what Trump said. Nah, they just have all the money. But if Flynn loses and wants to run in 2016, he should go for it. He's a really good candidate. Lahood is a stump. Without massive support from the state GOP (and a sitting GOP governor), he wouldn't stand a chance. He's just really bad. Powerline has an interesting article currently up regarding Trump's comments on illegal aliens' criminal propensities.
According to the U.S. Sentencing Commission's web site, 38 percent of federal criminal convictions in FY 2013 were of illegal aliens, and nearly 43 percent were of legal immigrants or illegal aliens. Also, in FY13, illegal aliens were the defendants found guilty in: 18 percent of federal drug trafficking convictions 25 percent of federal kidnapping/hostage taking convictions 56 percent of federal drug possession convictions 15 percent of federal money laundering convictions 20 percent of federal national security convictions 7 percent of federal murder convictions. Keep in mind that if there are 15 million illegal aliens in the U.S., which has a total population of around 300 million, that means illegal aliens make up only about 5% of our total population. Yet as you can see from the government's own crime statistics, illegal aliens are vastly over-represented in almost every federal crime category. And all you need to do is look at Arizona's state prison population to see how over-represented illegal aliens are when it comes to state crime convictions. (The numbers here are even worse than the federal stats). The government's own federal crime statistics prove that illegal aliens commit a disproportionately high percentage of federal crimes, including violent crimes like murder. Yet Trump is somehow a raaaaacist for using these undeniable FACTS to highlight the idiocy of Obama's open-borders immigration policies.
