Of COURSE the Apple Watch is a flop. It was never driven by any kind of market research or consumer demand. It is the creation of tech columnists who were banging the drum of "wearable technology" for a couple of years.

Apparently, seven of his patients acquired the virus from him, and there was enough analysis of the strains of virus to make it highly likely. There was one female patient who acquired it, and she was sorta the poster person for the cause for a while. She was like 19, and was said to be a virgin. I'm sure she's long dead now. Anyhoo, the evidence, such as it is, suggests absolutely atrocious practices on the part of this dentist, and yes, it may have been intentional. So far as I know, he remains the only medical provider to have infected a patient (rather than the other way around, which happens somewhat rarely, but can and does happen). Horrific story of personal agony.
Yesterday morning, picking up the pet food bowls, I managed somehow to snag my big toe in the cuff of my pantsleg. Maybe in another sixty years I'll learn how to walk. I know, I know, wearing pants was my first mistake. Falling down hard is an experience I've learned gets more dangerous as the decades pass, which lesson flashed through my mind, as I fell awkwardly, hitting on one knee, and crashing into a plastic dome pet house. To my astonishment, the pet house was soft enough that I did not injure my arm and did not even tear the pantsleg nor injure my knee! But of course I couldn't get away clean. I must've really bent my toe, because it's still swollen and purple today. Really did a number on it. At least it's not broken; I can still walk. Would hate to stub it or have somebody step on it, though. Pants should come with warning labels. I'm going to write my congressman about this. (Oh, wait, my congressman is a sensible person. I'll write your congressman.) Posted by: mindful webworker - left, right, left, right... at July 02, 2015 09:42 AM (TtorR) 120

Totally agree about Yosemite. I love my MacBook Air, though. We use PCs at work, and I've always found them to be great computers. Quick. No lag. But, at home, our PCs have been absolute slop. Even with the same amount of memory and hard drive space and all of that. My Macbook Air doesn't overheat the way my other laptops have; it's much quieter, and obviously lighter. And, it is clearly superior in build. But, yeah, I am not a huge fan of some of the Yosemite issues. Posted by: TickledPink at July 02, 2015 10:02 AM (RLFFI) 191

I guess Ace had a "flaming skull" on this a few days ago, but I just heard the Judge reporting on Charles Payne's show on FBN, and he was blowing my mind. Basically, it sounded like there is hard evidence that Hillary was illegally selling arms to try to overthrow the Libyan and Syrian govts (I guess I had heard claims like that before, but without evidence), with the idea that she could claim credit for it afterwards, that various govt officials were profiting greatly from the whole thing, and that some of the weapons sold were used in the killing of Ambassador Stevens. So... wow.

Horrific story of personal agony.
- For the last few weeks I've had a touch of stomach flu or something that causes occasional diarrhea. So last Sunday I was walking the dog when I felt it coming on. We piled into the car in an attempt to make it home but it didn't seem likely. I saw a convenience store I was familiar with and I knew exactly where the bathroom is. I screeched to a halt, piled out, and ran. I got to the bathroom, open and no toilet! They were remodeling the bathroom. Desperately I asked if they had another and the ladies' room had been converted into a non-gender-specific. Boy, opening that door and not seeing a toilet was the stuff of nightmares.
