Funny thing, the only reason Bangladesh exists is because Pakistan started slaughtering non-mohammedans in E Paki by the hundreds of thousands, then was stupid enough to attack India just for general purposes. India kicked the Pakis' asses in less than two weeks.
As a side note, Pakistan and India have had 4 major wars, not to mention a shitload of smaller skirmishes, all of which were started by Pakistan, and Pakistan lost every one of them.

I just don't see it. The Fed took on the economic metric of unemployment instead of fighting inflation in about 2008 and, since they exclude all the inflatable items from CPI, all it has done is pretend to be concerned about jobs. And since the 'real' jobs numbers are shit it knows it backed itself into a corner; unemployment goes up if they raise rates, inflation goes up if they don't. One job!

That's yet another reason why I like Bob Dylan. He's in his 70s now, and he doesn't pretend to be younger. In fact, he hardly plays any of his hits from the sixties anymore. He's always been a fan of old blues music, and his newer material reflects that. Paradoxically, many of his newer songs sound very, very old in a way.

You may be right. I recall one of those skits Key and Peele did, where Darius Rucker was on stage as a solo performer, and the fans in the audience kept calling out "Hootie, Hootie..." and he tried to tell him he's not Hootie.
That didn't go well. Not the least of all because the fans were not all that quick on the uptake. End result: He embraces his inner Hootie, and as he jumps into the crowd on his back, tears of shame and horror at his fate are streaming down his face.

That is how it is in the US but the European media is starting to give more coverage to that Bosnian who crashed his car into a crowd in Graz, Austria and when it finally would not run any more jumped out and started stabbing people.
So far it is only 3 dead but a lot of the injured are in pretty bad shape so it is not out of the question that he will beat the Charleston body count. I guess that Austria is another one of those countries that is not advanced or maybe it just doesn't count unless you use a gun to kill people.

The Scottish National Party picked up 56 seats in Parliament even though they only got about one sixth as many votes total as UKIP which only won a single seat. The Liberal Democrats lost a lot of seats but still have more members of Parliament than UKIP even though they got less votes total. The SNP was running only in Scotland and UKIP lost a number of close races.
It will be interesting to see how David Cameron does things for the next five years because it would not take that much to get a lot more UKIP seats. A few more Rotherhams or Jihadi actions before the next national election and immigration might be the deciding factor.
