We all know why she's saying this now; because of the unions. The SEIU were the ones backing the Fight for 15 protests out in LA, and now it's the SEIU and other unions demanding an exemption from the new law. One of the things that has always really bothered me about the party of stupid is their inability to even show what despicable people the Clinton's are. These people treat the working class with such disdain it should not be too hard to come up with some videos of them screaming at the hired help, etc. Meh, I guess we should expect as much from the pond scum who stole the china out of the WH before leaving. That may be the first honest statement from Ms Hilary Clinton since she first learned to talk as a wee little baby.
She doesn't care how much workers make, one way or the other. She doesn't care if workers starve, or if businesses go broke trying to pay unreasonable wages, or both. However, she is delighted to play 'Let's you and him fight.' It really is all about destroying civilized society. It really is. They think their utopia will emerge from the ashes. Has anybody read 'Canticle for Leibowitz'? What's that quote . . 'In your first step towards creating a new Eden, you throw God out. I like the idea of making colleges co-sign any loans.
It is amazing how quickly we'd see colleges pushing people to STEM careers... Posted by: 18-1 at June 09, 2015 12:28 PM (78TbK) I love that idea too. GM has GMAC to make loans to buy GM cars. Why don't universities have their own financing arms? If they were legitimate businesses, they'd jump at the chance: they could make money on both ends of the deal. GE has its own finance arm, and it now accounts for most of GE's profitability. Posted by: Jay Guevara at June 09, 2015 12:31 PM (oKE6c) 201

That actually would be a reason for the owner of the store to pay more. If you're paying $7/hr and getting shitty workers, pay $10/hr and you'll get better workers. The question really comes down to, will that extra $3/hr translate into an extra $3/hr of revenue per employee? In N Out burger has always paid their employees pretty well. I remember seeing help wanted signs offering $9.50 an hour a decade ago at NorCal locations. Posted by: HUCK / AKIN 2016 at June 09, 2015 12:49 PM (0LHZx) 283

. . .And quick. My son started working at McDonalds during High School and stayed for three years. He literally got raises every six months because he showed up for work on time and actually worked. Posted by: The Great White Scotsman at June 09, 2015 12:53 PM (iONHu) 287

Posted by: Nerdygirl So you see the problem! We clearly need a minimum wage hike. Posted by: Socialists at June 09, 2015 12:54 PM (VAsIq) 288
Hillary has SEEN Bill triangulating, but she's pretty much the last monkey to touch the monolith when it comes to trying it herself.

I support Hillary's presidential campaign.
I don't want her to become president, ever. But keep campaigning! Posted by: FireHorse at June 09, 2015 01:16 PM (8fgsi) 294
Here's a one-question quiz. (It's a trick question. It seems like there's math involved but there's not.)
If a McDonald's has a weekly payroll expense of $2,000 per week and its employees' average wage is $11 per hour, how much will the weekly payroll expense be if minimum wage increases to $15 per hour? Posted by: FireHorse at June 09, 2015 01:21 PM (8fgsi) 295
So Hillary Clinton supports conflict for its own sake? Suddenly, her foreign policy makes sense.

She was actually for the $15 minimum wage before she was against it. And DOMA, too.

to Maetenloch I am Ira Wetheral My Disturbance of some ONTs is directly in response to Cooth's INSISTENCE that I am responsible for his IT misfortune, luap nor AKA Tim in Illinois was also called out and harassed, but seemingly didn't get the ban hammer because he did the 'turn the other cheek maneuver' which is cool. I scream back at cooth, unperson, and a growing band of yahoos who seem to be swayed by his... Magnificence. Buzzion fell into this as well as bebe. The main point I want to make here, there is not and never will be any "evidence" pointing toward implicating me. One night he got a bug up his ass, and never quit. He is the sphincter in this case. My belief, is while his fiancee was out of town, He stumbled into some bad shit on a porn site. Maybe not, but he sure didn't get it from me. Now my pal Mr Hat has been given over to the dark side. Do I really have to wait for an apology from cooth? When will his expensive "investigator" finger the culprit, if ever? Late at night, all I have ever done was some silly back and forth you-tube music videos with hat and piercello. No fun anymore. I don't see a resolution to this in the near future But if you can, I'm amenable. Seriously, Ira Posted by: El Dorado at June 10, 2015 05:10 AM (HNB4q) 301
