The aspect I find most telling:

One way of believing promotes truth, from the commandment to not bear false witness, to the outpouring of the Spirit of Truth. The other has takkiya, it's called, right? Lying is perfectly fine if it helps spread the cult and undermine the infidels.

Just because someone claims to follow Christ doesn't make them genuinely trustworthy, but how could one ever trust anything said by a follower of Muhumid, even one who claimed to be reformed?

Seriously, is that Sulkowicz woman nasty or what? When I read her text messages, I had two thoughts: (1) I need a long hot shower with lots and lots of disinfecting soap; and (2) what a deeply disturbed, attention-seeking little fool she is.

In the Columbia hearing, Sulkowicz testified that she had never discussed anal sex with Nungesser before the "rape." Yet in her pre-"rape" texts (which she has already admitted are accurate), she repeatedly pressures Nungesser for anal sex, which he is resisting. On top of that, Sulkowicz is boasting to Nungesser in the texts about her drunken sexual hook-ups with random strangers, including threesomes. The woman is clearly besotted with Nungesser, and trying desperately to convince him that she is sexually desirable. It's beyond pathetic.

Sulkowicz is destined to get the attention she so obviously craves. But when the public finally learns the sordid facts about her and her phony "rape," the attention she gets is not going to be the type of attention she was hoping for.

The salient point I hit leftists with when they give me the moral relativist lie that all religions are violent is that people corrupt religions and kill in their name contra to the teachings of those religions EXCEPT Islam, which actually teaches to kill and subjugate all infidels and non-believers. You are following the precepts by doing so.

And their counterargument is "you're lying and I don't believe you!"

100 This Ramadi thing very confusing. The Iraqi army won't fight, but they don't desert and join ISIS either. ISIS kills their captives, but the news media doesn't say who is being executed; sunni or shia.

The Iraqi Army leadership doesn't do anything when the Army won't fight; no generals get fired. But the Sunni claim they don't get weapons or ammunition. The vehicles left behind apparently are inoperative, never used in training or maneuvers; they are just parked.

The news media has reported (once) that high ranking Army officers skim money from pay, operations, and training accounts, and it has been reported that the Iraqi Government (Shia) doesn't trust the Iraq Army (Sunni) and won't supply them with weapons. Yet the Shia militia don't join the army, apparently.

This, to me, sounds like a 'failed state'.

A 32-year-old man was killed after trying to rob the house of a civilian police in the Garden Patricia neighborhood in the west of Uberlāndia. According to the case record, Eliseu Santos Paulo and two other men approached the victim as she entered the home garage, accompanied by the wife. Seeing that one of the bandits was armed, the officer took aim and shot the man who was trying to steal it. There was exchange of fire, and the bandits fled towards Pampulha neighborhood, on the east side of the city.

Nearly got into it with the wife last night. I made the mistake of imitating Steven Hawking and she was pissed that I wasn't compassionate enough and that I vote for people that cut funding for research and aid to cripples.

To which I retorted that we have never cut anything ever. We are over $200 trillion in debt. The only thing cut is the rate of spending increases.

She stammered, sputtered, tried to change the argument and mercifully the takeout food guy arrived.
