Clinton Political Advisor Sydney Blumenthal Has Been Paid by the Clinton Foundation for Years;
"Advised" Hillary on Libya at Same Time He Was Seeking Business Opportunities There

I keep calling the Clinton Foundation the "Foundation for Clintons" because that's clearly what it is.

Not only does the Foundation pay for the Clintons' travel, not only does it create shopportunities for foreign governments to pay the Clintons $500,000 a speech for Administrative action, but the Foundation for Clintons also serves to keep the Clintons' key political people paid between Clinton presidencies.

Otherwise these people would have to find real jobs besides plumping Hillary for President.

Well, Sydney Blumenthal turns out to be an employee of this fraudulent charity. Blumenthal's previous charitable works consist of spreading the slander that Monica Lewinsky was a delusional stalker to the press.

What the hell is this slimy monster doing working for a "charity"?

Supposedly he's guiding them on "messaging." That is a Political concept, not a charitable one.

The Foundation for Clintons is NOT a charity. It is a criminal political enterprise that does some charity as window dressing to conceal the grubby, selfish motives of the organization.*

And we're finally seeing some news breaking on that.

[A]s Hillary Rodham Clinton embarks on her second presidential bid, Mr. Blumenthal’s service to the Clintons is once again under the spotlight. Representative Trey Gowdy of South Carolina, a Republican who is leading the congressional committee investigating the 2012 attacks in Benghazi, Libya, plans to subpoena Mr. Blumenthal, 66, for a private transcribed interview.

Mr. Gowdy's chief interest, according to people briefed on the inquiry, is a series of memos that Mr. Blumenthal -- who was not an employee of the State Department -- wrote to Mrs. Clinton about events unfolding in Libya before and after the death of Col. Muammar el-Qaddafi. According to emails obtained by The New York Times, Mrs. Clinton, who was secretary of state at the time, took Mr. Blumenthal's advice seriously, forwarding his memos to senior diplomatic officials in Libya and Washington and at times asking them to respond. Mrs. Clinton continued to pass around his memos even after other senior diplomats concluded that Mr. Blumenthal's assessments were often unreliable.

But an examination by The New York Times suggests that Mr. Blumenthal's involvement was more wide-ranging and more complicated than previously known, embodying the blurry lines between business, politics and philanthropy that have enriched and vexed the Clintons and their inner circle for years.

While advising Mrs. Clinton on Libya, Mr. Blumenthal, who had been barred from a State Department job by aides to President Obama, was also employed by her family’s philanthropy, the Clinton Foundation, to help with research, "message guidance" and planning of commemorative events, according to foundation officials. During the same period, he also worked on and off as a paid consultant to Media Matters and American Bridge, organizations that helped lay the groundwork for Mrs. Clinton's 2016 campaign.

Much of the Libya intelligence that Mr. Blumenthal passed on to Mrs. Clinton appears to have come from a group of business associates he was advising as they sought to win contracts from the Libyan transitional government. The venture, which was ultimately unsuccessful, involved other Clinton friends, a private military contractor and one former C.I.A. spy seeking to get in on the ground floor of the new Libyan economy.

Among the friends was that Drumheller guy, a former spy who was the head of the Haggard Queen's private intelligence service.

See AllahPundit's update for yet another Hillary lie exposed. Hillary has claimed that she only used her "hr22" email address for State Department business. When another email address surfaced -- "hrod17" -- she claimed she had only begun using that after she left State.

Guess what the newest disclosures indicate, vis-a-vis the truthfulness of a Hillary Clinton statement?

Meanwhile, Hillary Clinton is offering -- well, I should say her people are offering, as she won't speak to the press -- spin on her refusal to answer media questions.

It's nothing short of astonishing.

She says -- I mean, Those Who Speak On Behalf of Her Atrociousness say -- that Hillary has answered 20 questions from "Real Americans" -- you know, those hand-selected Democratic plants who ask gauzy questions like what she will do to put the "heart" back in education, whatever that means.

[The Queen's memo] lists every one of those questions -- from "Give me a sense of your experience with that?" (Iowa) to "Do you want to share your story?" (Nevada).

And The Queen's Guard further says that Hillary has asked these "Everyday Americans" 117 questions.

That is, during those scripted events, she asked the plants 117 questions. She wants credit for being a Different Kind of Leader, one who doesn't answer questions, but instead answers them.

Has she ever asked those Plants what the hell Sydney Blumenthal was doing advising her to go to war in Libya while he was sniffing out business ventures for a post-Ghadaffi Libya?

* I am frequently reminded that SPECTRE hid behind a charitable front group -- specifically, one seeking to aid displaced persons (refugees, etc.)

SPECRE had its own private intelligence service, too.

Pretty damn clever how they got MSM folks involved so that their credibility as supporting charitable works became hitched to this foundation.

90 "Blumenthal's previous charitable works consist of spreading the slander that Monica Lewinsky was a delusional stalker to the press."

The late Christopher Hitchens, in his memoir of the Clinton years, _No One Left To Lie To_, described with incredulity how Blumenthal, previously an old friend of Hitch, privately pushed him to publicly endorse the crazy-stalker-chick theory and pronounce the Clintons' innocence.

As Hitchens relates it, Blumenthal was lying, and Hitchens knew that Blumenthal was lying, and _Blumenthal knew that Hitchens knew that he was lying_, and for the sake of his Clinton allegiances, Blumenthal went right on ahead with lying to his old friend's face.

Hitch later described Clintonworld as a system that "corrupts everything it touches," or words to that effect.

113 Here's what I think on the Benghazi thing...

Hillary has her own personal intelligence service, through the Clinton Foundation. She had foreknowledge that the attack on our Benghazi embassy would occur.

She did nothing with this knowledge, because she knew if she did anything to protect our countrymen there it might get people asking how she knew.

She felt it more important to keep her private intelligence assets private than to use them to protect Americans who don't happen to be named Clinton.

Hence, all her obfuscation after the attack.

Posted by: pepin@comcast.net at May 18, 2015 07:40 PM (E/L7R)

151 @113 - I think the answer is much simpler than that.

Her entire term at State was about resume-building. She took the job with the understanding that she'd basically be able to hide under her desk for four years and do absolutely nothing controversial. Sam Power and Susan Rice and the rest of the dimwits did the heavy lifting (mostly dropping pianos on their toes), and Hillary did press events.

But one thing she was responsible for was staffing State facilities, and signing off on things like security.

So when Benghazi went down, she felt it was a round coming straight at her.

Now, remember, there was a guy in Bill's Cabinet. Name was Les Aspin. He had a long and checkered career in Congress, but his one achievement as Secretary of Defense was being the guy who signed off on putting US troops under UN command, and denying them armor and other useful protection, in Somalia.

So when the Mogadishu warlords killed a bunch of Americans, Aspin took the fall and was never heard from thereafter.

You can bet Hillary saw the Ghost of Les Aspin every morning and every night after Benghazi, and everything about her reaction was geared toward Not Being Les Aspin.

That said, if the Queen is elected she and Bill will ramp it up x 1000. It really in depressing where we're at culturally and politically as a nation; not that long ago this kind of shit would have not been tolerated by the voting public.

Remember Gary Hart, he was considered a 'shoe-in' until his affairs came to light and even the dems buried him. Yyyyyeah.

Story time:
I work in a small printing shop. Currently there are just the owner and four employees, including me. I've been there doing pre-press for 25 years as of March. The press foreman, who I'll call Joe, has been there even longer. He's happily married with no kids. The other pressman, who I'll call Stu, has worked there quite a while as well, maybe 10-15 years. He is single. Then there is the other pre-press person, who I'll call Jenny. She's in her late 20s and been there for at least five or six years. She's married and has had two children since she's been working there.

I mostly keep to myself, just getting my work done and sneaking glances at the HQ when I can. I get along with everybody more or less, but I'm not a "people person". Jenny and Joe hit it off almost immediately. They're constantly talking to each other, mostly small talk and gossip about family and friends. They seemed like lifelong best friends. As I said, they're both happily married as far as I know, so I don't think any hanky-panky was going on. There is quite an age difference between them, too.

Stu is pretty shy and keeps to himself. Lately I've noticed he and Jenny spending more time talking to each other, but I didn't think anything of it.

Jenny took all of last week off because her daughter was in the hospital.

Today was her first day back, and at about 2:00, she came storming downstairs and said, "I'm leaving, and I'm not coming back." I said, "What happened?" and she replied, "You work for an asshole." She grabbed her handbag and pictures of her kids, and went out the door. BAM.

I saw my boss a little later and asked him what happened. He said she had some sort of mental breakdown. Since whatever went down was none of my business, I didn't pry further.

At the end of the day and after the two pressmen left, my boss filled me in with some more details, or at least his side of the story. A couple of weeks ago, Joe and Stu got into a heated argument because Joe (the foreman) told Stu to do something and he didn't want to. (I do remember hearing a lot of yelling.)

So then Stu apparently somehow managed to convince Jenny that Joe was a dangerous and violent man, and she needed to be careful around him.

It turned out that she made up the story about her daughter being in the hospital. She stayed away because she was now afraid of Joe, who until recently was her best buddy. She told my boss that she wanted him to tell the unemployment agency that he was laying her off because business was slow (which it is). He said she could quit if she wanted but he was not going to help her collect unemployment.

She then threatened to report that it was an unsafe work environment. That was when she came storming downstairs and out the door.

My boss then had a meeting with the two pressmen and got their stories. Stu left early because he said he needed to get a lawyer.

So. I'm on my second Manhattan now. Of course, I would be anyway, but still.

if this were true - well, that's even worse than doing nothing on the night of the attack.
I'm still disgusted that she reduced Stevens' security despite requests for more, ignored intel of a pending attack from the Brits, and let (or directed?) Stevens' be anywhere other than in the safest part of the US embassy on 9/11.
I suppose this is why the theory that this was a kidnapping gone bad - where the US planned to trade Stevens for the blind sheik - at least seems plausible.
I mean, any idiot would think traveling to an unsecured location on 9/11 was needlessly risky.

Jake Tapper was one of the first to report on the leaked email from Ambassador Stevens asking Hillary for a plane so that they could at least shuttle the remainder of the reduced security team for the embassy between Tripoli and Benghazi.

It's maddening that the left considers O'Reilly a conservative even though he isn't one, and even though he has explicitly denied being one. Hey, we don't like him, either, so fire away.

I guess they think he's conservative because (a) his show is on Fox and (b) sometimes his "for the folks" schtick leads him to say things that are not in complete lockstep with the left-wing zeitgeist.

375 On a very serious note, one of my BFFs has survived her second awful cancer.

She survived anal cancer several years ago. Fully recovered, was healthy and doing/looking great.

Then she came down with bone marrow cancer. She's been through months and months of agony and nearly died.

Her doctors now say she's completely healed (after an anonymous donor), but she's still sick and weak and has a long way to go. But she's cancer-free.

Thanks, Horde, for your prayers.

Lung cancer is the biggest killer of men and women in the U. S.

This sounds crazy strange, but I told this story here three years ago when our son came home on leave from Afghanistan.

I begged him to bring his dirty clothing home to let me launder it. (Yeah, I know.) His dad convinced him I was serious.

So, the first day, I'm sorting through his Afghanistan laundry, and pick up what he said were his last camo he wore just before leaving Shitcanistan.

Me, being an emotional mom, held up the jacket he had worn, and sniffed it deeply (no, it wasn't stinky). I had a moment.

Then I threw it in the wash.

Exactly three days later, I came down with a helluva bronchitis from hell. Totally lost my voice. To this day, I can't sing so much as a hymn.

And how cozy. Demand a change in curriculum nationwide and coincidentally start an education company at the same time. Then take the largest fucking lobbying firm of all time, the Clinton Initiative, and the woman you are planning to lose the election to, give her an award and a quarter million

Then ....Profit!!!

Or maybe Lungfist.

Which makes no sense at all.

You see, if a critical fraction of the public finds out a critical
amount of information, information that makes it clear we are all chumps
living as serfs with TV sets, then the whole fucking civilization could
unravel.

The whole fucking thing.

That reason, above all else, is why our rulers want things to roll
along, one squirrel and one celebrity ass after another, with not enough
people catching on.

They dread the day when just the right number of people react in just the right way to tip the chessboard onto the floor.

Why only 15,000?

When I lived 30 minutes from my gun club (in CA!), I burned through about 500 rounds/month, and I was not rolling in cash. I had the time to shoot triple that....just not the money.

I expect an angry comment in a year...."Fcuk! I should have bought more!"

572 Ace, until you admit that the entire Democrat Party is a criminal enterprise dedicated to destroying the country, you'll be out of touch with reality.

Once you're in touch with reality, you'll be where the rest of us were 15 years ago, and agree that the only solution is to shoot the b*st*rds.

576 I think Ace is doing God's work exposing all these "donations" to the Clinton Global Initiative. It looks like all we need is for Ace and other Internet leaders to track down and analyze every dollar going into that fund that could possibly corrupt the next White House. Which brings me to a couple of items I think Ace might want to get right on:

1) News Corp right on its website under "Charities" indicates it committed to annually fund the CGI at a certain level that means that, the holding company for Fox News Channel and the Wall Street Journal and the New York Post and Sky TV in the U.K. and hundreds of other Fox subsidiaries and affiliates, to date has paid the Clinton Global Initiative fund between $500K and $1M.

2) That's a minimum not just because the funding level is includes those parameters, but because there are dozens of other News Corp and News International entities that Rupert Murdocn and his son and their family don't necessarily control which may also have made additional contributions. But even if all that News Corp has contributed is $500K, that's almost TEN TIMES the amount George Stephanopoulos it turns out contributed.

3) If the suspicion is that Stephanopolos was essentially 'buying' himself a ticket into coming Hillary Clinton White House, what is that Murdoch thinks he's buy with News Corp shareholders' money, ten to twenty times the amount of insider influence Stephananopoulos supposedly is buying?

4) Stephanopoolos worked for Bill Clinton's presidental campaigns and administration for almost 8 years before leaving after the 1996 election. Could Ace maybe explain why this fact has been buried by the MSM for almost 20 years? I mean, I only knew it because I was paying attention at the time and I have a memory and a brain and Wikipedia and lots of other sources to remind me of that. So why the cover-up? I mean, there MUST be a cover-up, or else why is Ace so excited about this?

5) What does a 50k contribution to the Clinton Global Initiative buy these days? If the Murdoch's are buying, shouldn't Ace to urging us all to start up a fund to raise some fund like that as a contribution on behalf of this website and get in on the bonanza? Shouldn't Ace at least be contacting the CGI or the Hillary Clinton campaign and ASKING, politely. And even if the AoSHQ site chooses to invest in some other politician or to pool with some other moneybags like the Coke brothers or Shelly Addledson, we should at least know going in the bang for our bucks.

577 SDN is right.

And Ace rightfully compares the Clinton foundation to SPECTRE. We think it right and good that MI6 sends out Bond to destroy SPECTRE. We think it right and good that the villain gets it in the end.
